These came out so fantastic! Job well done. The contrasting wood was put in just the right places!
They look wonderful and what a great gift. I love how they seem to go together like a jigsaw puzzle, great design.
another great video Alain, you make my week. I always look forward to see your put out a quality product.
- Watched again & are even more appreciative of the detailed instructions & craftsmanship shone. You're great. Thanx 4 sharing.
Someday I’ll make easy nice things like that! Thank you for the videos, you are a great videographer and editor as well!
Great results! Adding this to the long list of future projects!
Beautiful and useful, the best combination in my opinion. Great Job.
Very Nice Alain, I'm just about finished my Christmas gifts for this year.. Tree Ornaments. We will see if my memory is good enough to remember this video for next year. ;D
Great job! Love the rounded corners.
Great idea for a gift Alain. Thank you for sharing ॐ

Great minds thinks alike :))
Those turned out beautiful!!!
Good Job, many thanks for sharing. :)
Awesome job!
Alain,
Nice job. What a great neighbor and friend you would make, I think.
Thank you.
Gorgeous gifts!
I love they way they look you are awesome
I love so much that congratulations from Guatemala
Nice project!
Very nice!
Well done.
Very nice concept but a way to complicated process. Make 3 or 4 face frames, depending on how high you want the walls to be, glue stack them, round off the corners and VOILA! If you want handles as you had made, also easy, Cut the frames in the middle and insert the handles. Easy Peasy! hahahaha I like your channel very much. It does not make me feel like a total DUFUS with my so very basic woodworking skills.
Hi, good job !
They're not easy to make but they look really great.
Nice !!!!
yes indeed.
Easy to make? For a master like yourself :)
They do look great!
It's not too complicated, but still not to easy let's say it's not a useless pinterest thing ;))
Dear Alain,
Wonderful as usual. I sincerely hope you haven't forgotten Renee's. But I think it may prove to be a better surprised if your were to upon entering the conjugal boudoir say " breakfast is served Me Lady" You never know you might hit that sweet spot???. Allow me to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas & very productive New Year 2018. Kind regards.
- E X C E L L E N T E ! ! ! Very nicely done.
Beautiful job, I really like how they look and those round handles are awesome!!
Do you share the plans/templates for these serving trays?
produção genial
Oh man when your wood fell off the end of the table saw ,i flashed on the same thing happening to me,,,,many times.what a pain right? I hate bending over. I did laugh though.
I have the same frustrations with screws falling thru all the holes in my festool mft table. Grrrrr
Nise work, they look great. what size did you make them?
I'm not sure, since I've gave them all away. But I have the plans on my website and probably there the size are written
Any chance you would have corner patterns available for down load?
Yes, on my website in the plans section. I have the sketchup file I used to build this.
Alain, the trays turned out great. Is there any change you would have plans for these? Thank you for sharing.
Yes, just check the plans section of my website
Thank you Alain! I'll check it out.
Did you think about using the X-carve for the handles?
you could also use the xcarve to inset the bottom board and cut the bottom board perfectly
Cutting with the X-Carve takes a lot more time. So I've decided to cut everything by hand, but it's true all the pieces would had been perfect each time.
Do i need to use sealer before varnish?
I never uses sealer. I always spray a coat of water base varnish, let it dry, sand it and spray another coat. If it's something that will have a lot of use and abuse, I will spray additional coats.
The only time that I will apply a sealer (always shellac) is when the piece will be painted
love your videos but why are you not using your homeade band saw?
Those are last year christmas presents. Yes from last week kayak cart and up to christmas all my episodes are about last year presents. Since I've started my bansaw only in february, well this explain it ...
Have you thought about publishing plans for those?
I forgot, but now they're on my website reay for download
Thank you for the reminder
How come You Never put Your Name On Them (Logo) ??
I forgot, and I received some complaint from my sister beacuase of that...
After all that work on the home made band saw you used your the other one!!! Good build though!
From now on and even from last week project, the kayak caddy, all my videos up to christmas are last year present. Since I've only started my bandsaw in february, well this explain every thing. But next year you'll see this year Christmas present and then you'll see my super nice wooden bandsaw :))
at 4:35, your table saw insert looks like it is coming out ... could cause you troubles (cut accuracy? safety?) if you don't secure it.
Ted Gaunt are you stupid?
dont be mean:(
great job but lay off the wall nut jokes exit time my family has gone nuts lol
Perhaps something like this could work if you have clamping trouble?
