Learning about your favorite games is just as exciting as playing them and being a fan, you keep that info with you always. Since collecting for the PS4, I've seen quite a lot of great horror games. Well, that was awesome! A great video Mike, just in time to start a nice Halloween evening. Your knowledge of the history of popular horror games is impeccable and as others have already written, I can listen to your videos for hours. I don't know exactly why, but I don't find aliens, monsters and zombies particularly scary, but rather pleasantly spooky. :) That's why my favorite horror games are not really heart attack inducing games. (Dead Space 1, Alan Wake, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Alien Isolation...) However, as soon as ghosts play a major role in a game, I'll shit my pants! P.T. or Fatal Frame??? Nope, i am out of here! I managed to play trough P.T. and Layers of Fear once and actually had nightmares after that...well, guess i stick to my beloved Alien Isolation. :) "Should I clear a horde of undead monsters and aliens with a plasma cutter or dodge an alien on an abandoned spaceship?" - No problem! "Should I go ghost hunting with a camera in an abandoned house at night?" - Nope, never ever!!! ;) I wish you a nice, spooky Halloween Mike! :)

Yeah Doom 2016 was excellent and is a good example of a non horror game that still has a great horror vibe, and I couldn’t recommend the Castlevania collection enough! Thanks btw for watching and commenting!! 🙏

Cold fear and the first ObsCure were some highlights for me. also love how you showed off some horror adjacent stuff too, I often find myself wanting those dark and goth settings without the jumpscares. Bloodborne and the first dmc are my go to’s but I highly recommend anyone check out the bloodrayne games and darkwatch. both are mad fun and goth as hell.
I will always take any opportunity to praise the OG XBOX lol. And yeah, I didn’t mention them here, but good choices, I really like Bloodrayne and I ADORE Darkwatch! My boy Jericho Cross…it’s a shame it never became a series. Thanks for watching! 😊

I found a complete in box copy of silent hill shattered memories on the PS2 back in like 2017 or 2018 at goodwill for $4. I sold it on ebay because I didn't have an interest in it at the time. One of the worst decisions of my life because it was only going for like $40-$50 at the time. It makes me sick looking at the price now.

Doom 2016 is a horror theme game I enjoy a lot would definitely consider checking out the Castlevania anniversary edition
