I live up in Brentwood and we have the same issues with the same odor coming from the Symrise plant here. We get the very distinctive smell every time the wind is coming from the NW which is where the plant is, about a half-mile away. The study had a couple of monitors near us and I'm anxious to see their results- I keep records of when we get the odor and also the wind data and I'd like to see if we match up. Melissa Long seemed rather evasive in the report............ we also thought the study was supposed to find the source of the odor. I'm hoping the full results will be available to the public in July when she presents them to the Environmental Protection Board!
I lived in Avondale 20 years. That odor is usually over a weekend and on colder days. It is not multiple sources.
