From my understanding, there are a lot of people from NYC moving here and are causing the inflation of property value because of the high demand. This build looks like it would only entice people new to Jacksonville because most people here knows that downtown has a horrible homeless issue thats not being addressed properly..
Tax payers pay 500million and then the private business gets all the profits? what a scam if tax payers "invest" in half the cost they should get half the profit.
OK Wanting to build all that is nice. but how about you addressing the homeless issue that is in that community and start building More homeless shelters because we need more of that we need more shelters for homeless people that can help them get on their feet and help them find jobs Because I know too many people right now in Jacksonville they're living on the street they have nowhere to go but if someone wants to give them a hand up instead of a hand out I'm pretty sure they would take it just to have something better.
Still nothing is happening. People don't want to go downtown because they don't want to go back home over the bridge and get caught with stupid drinking. Since the pandemic downtown has died.

Let's face it. Jacksonvillians don't want to hang out downtown. They want to work there, go home, or go to the beach.
