So I got a new phone with AI assist. I told AI my interests and asked what podcast I should listen to. It suggested this one and it wasn't wrong. I've laughed, I've cried, I've been educated and enlightened. Great job! 👏👏👏
Love you girls. ❤ You’re basically my family. Lol. Don’t know where I’d be without this podcast. Thank you for this community and thank you for all that you do for so many important conversations and stories.

I spit-laughed on my iPad when Georgia said “except that can of peaches that exploded in our laundry room!” 😂 I don’t know if I am ready for watching the podcast yet 🤪
I’VE BEEN LISTENING SINCE 2018 these ladies got me through a horrible, horrible time in my life and to finally be able to see them as they talk to me means so fucking much. I’ll be turning this on to watch as I drink my morning coffee from now on.
22:06 the woman in the Poll taxing video- the receipt was from 1960. The only way some black people could vote was by paying this tax. The tax was eliminated with Voting Rights Act in 1965.
I worked as a CNA in a Denver hospital in the early nineties. I remember clearly the one AIDS patient I encountered did have a hazard sign. I was 19 and freaked out by my superiors. How horrible for that person.
WHERE WAS THE MURDER? This was My Favorite story. All well and good but maybe they are told on a different podcast. You guys are getting soooo loose with your murders now.
but Georgia's was a murder? It just so happened to be of an important civil rights activist so she leaned more into the telling of that part of his life. I love that they're adding in the unsung hero stories of people that we should know more about
“The funniest person in our staff meetings” is SUCH a compliment from Karen

Amazing work girls!

This may be the most important episode you've ever done. It's important to never forget the past and learn from it.
SAAAAAME re: nap anxiety 😂😂😂
When is the podcast going on the road again?!
Hell yea
No offense but nobody uses “blue sky” lol

an assassination is a murder? and arguably people who died of aids were killed by government negligence
They changed to crimes in general in late 2018, where have you been?
Georgia I love you.. but that shirt is hideous 😂
Why is this even necessary to say to anyone? It’s giving fabulous 80s outfit worn by Blanche Devereaux 💁🏽♀️
@ just to get your marshmallows roasting I guess! 😊
