- Hello friends, I have a very practical episode with tips on how to make small changes to patterns to make sewing easier. I'm using the Presto from Love Notions to create a dreamed garment with linen. I wanted a versatile piece that I could wear buttoned up on its own, or open like a light layering piece and the changes needed are so simple.

Specifics:
*Size XL
*Full bust option
*Shorter length and even hem, so it's a top and not a tunic
*Linen/rayon blend
*Extended the placket down to the hem
*Make the banded collar one piece
*Simplified the placket to be an extension of the front and not a separate piece
*Added 3 pin-tucks on each side. Marks are 1" apart and are sewn with 1/4" seam allowance.

I love all of the options that you have given us here. I never would have thought to add a full length placket. I love pin-tucks and the option to add only a few is awesome. I have had this pattern since it came out, but have never made it because it was a woven and I probably need a FBA. Now that it has FBA, I will give it a try. I do want to make a dress as I do not wear tunics and I would make it shirt length when I do finally get around to it! Thank you for your inspiration and enthusiasm for sewing and sharing with the world!

Hi Karina, love your videos and so inspiring to buy the love notions patterns on friday. But I wanted to ask, I see this posted ( from my time zone) on friday 23:00 in the evening, which means I am seeing it about 1 hour before midnight to saturday. If I wanted to get the sale price and love notions is in the states, then I think I have to buy it between 23:00-05:00 my time. because the sale ends at I assume midnight in the states? Anyway, would it be possible for you publish these earlier in the day on fridays? (especially for those patterns that are not on sale all weekend)
Hi. Making each video takes me several days. I make about 9 videos a month and am working continuously. I publish them when they are finished. Sometimes I am able to publish a little earlier but other times it is impossible. Sales don't end at midnight... they end the next day during the morning.
