Magic is weak until you get Focused Bolt. You can Boon yourself and charge up your light attack to do good damage.

I freaking love it when i see new players take up Dragons Dogma and get there cheeks clapped., Don't worry, you do eventually get strong enough to clap their cheeks instead. around level 30 is where it really becomes noticeable how much stronger you start getting. Also might not be a bad Idea to hire more pawns, it helps draw aggro away from you which you really need if your going to play a caster class., otherwise your really just making it significantly more difficult for yourself. if you give me your pawn ID i'll hire Obama and put some good equipment on him for yah😉

Hi i just stumbled across this video when i was watching for dragons dogma content. i'm totally not Wolfie i don't know what you are trying to say.
and I saw that you were having trouble with a bunch of enemies killing you so i'm here to give you a helpful tip.
Did you know that you can have up to 3 pawns so you can build up a team so you can fight easier, I don't know if you realized that but i hope it helps.
anyhow, great video man and i hope you are feeling better now.

some advice if you need money just sell the dlc armor it give ALOT mage and sorcerer can't dodge or protect themselves so you wanna hire a warrior or fighter pawn to take care of melee combat and to take aggro off of you
When i saw you use levitate, i immediately paused the video to buy it thinking it would be a great help getting down towers and such but i made the same mistake you did and i realised it isnt worth it
so it doesnt save you from falling, BUT I still think its a good tool for our arsenal as a mage.
Deleted my old comment cause I wasn't sure you learned how to buff yourself 😅. Anyway, the dlc area is meant for level 45 minimum. There are crazy people who know how to get through the dlc at level 1 without cheating, there's actually a cheese strat to power level through there. Hard mode will feel like you walked into the dlc for the first time everywhere you go with how damaging everything is. You can still kill things, you just have to be extra careful
