Imagine having someone you've never met nor wronged in any way being so jealous of your life and family that they're willing to murder your child and steal your money. It's really creepy that people like this are roaming free.

I realise this is a way old comment, but... I'm a cousin of Graeme Thorne's. A family member of mine linked me this video. Agreed, the fact that there are people like this who are roaming free. Freda died in 2012, a few months before her 1st cousin, my grandmother. The family are still reasonably "well off" as a result of the lottery win, but they never really recovered from Graeme's death. We don't believe it was murder per se - we think he intended to return him after payment of the ransom. It's the family's belief that Graeme probably realised rather fast that he wasn't actually going to school, there was a struggle, and in the process Graeme died. My mother drummed stranger danger into me, needless to say... as did my grandparents.

Well, firstly, Graeme was accidently killed. It wasn't murder. Secondly, money is so much desired in our society, that any quick way to get it is sort. No one can be blamed for wanting a lot of it. Admittedly, this was a truly bizarre way to go about it, but the ending was definitely NOT sought, intended nor expected
