I had a situation like that with a charity shop worker! She asked me "how are you going today" and I said well my power is turned off due to storms, my food is wasted, I can't have a shower or charge my phone! She said "oh here's my address, come over and I'll cook a meal, and you have a shower and watch tv while your phone charges"! I've only seen her twice before in the shop and she's kind and friendly, but that was definitely creepy! 🧐

I'm pretty sure I read this in Penthouse-- there is a LOT more to this story.

Clever observational humour. But on a serious note, one shop worker in a supermarket in Rockhampton, the backside of Australia, kept me alive for about six months because she was friendly. I had no friends, only finally got a job after three months, when I'd been promised one if I moved there, and found the people to be so unfriendly. No warmth, no kindness, and I was in my early 20s with a baby and my parents with me, but I felt so depressed I was sick all the time. I have never had a problem making friends anywhere else, ever. My one highlight was one girl in the local Woolworths supermarket. She would always ask how I was and have a brief and genuinely friendly chat with me. She will never know what that meant to me at the time. I left Rockhampton and moved back to Bundaberg and on my first day back, store people and total strangers were so genuinely friendly and I felt like I had come home. So sometimes it's a good thing to cross the line past the nod. 🙂

As a North Queenslander originally I can tell you that this is a common thing, they can be extraordinarily closed communities

@@zanegravenall9522 I never found Bundaberg to be that way, even though some complained about it. I moved there from Sydney, and even though my purple velvet pants, knee high boots and long green trendy jumper were points to stare at (I had no other clothing as I was escaping domestic violence), people were just nice to me. I never had any problems and never encountered any closed groups. Maybe in the older people? Of course, it isn't in North Queensland.

Take a trip to Seattle and the people of Rockhampton will seem warm in comparison.

Hilarious. I watched this one the other day. The episode reminded me of Seinfeld. So, so funny.
I also watched Super Wog, call centre. I could relate to the later of the two skits.
Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺

This seriously just happened to me this morning, I'm in Australia and stopped at a New Servo near my house and the chick was lovely and when I said I needed to go back to my car to get my backpack I forgot to take in for carrying all the large bottles of drinks , she followed me out to the car and brought them to me which was lovely🤗 and i was very grateful and never happens but then she stood blocking my way to the driver side and started to "have a chat" for 10 minutes about nothing and I just wanted to go home.. I only got out of it because another customer turned up 😂🤣 Maybe she just was bored and lonely?? 💌😝

If you like the more well structured ones they have a mini series that goes on for just less than 30 mins. A whole story with a bunch of characters.

Another great choice and reaction. You may want to check out some Norman Gunston interviews, they’re a few year old but pretty funny. Good ones are:- Guns and Roses, Paul McCartney, Sally Struthers.

Mate, I don't think you've covered Lano and Woodley yet. Arguably the funniest act in Australian history. Their TV series was amazing. Some episodes and clips available on youtube.
