I recently cycled & restarted up my 90 gal. reef tank (no corals yet!) and have only 2 Clown fish. My question is, using pellets or frozen Mysis, what would the correct AMOUNT of BOTH foods to feed them, as to not overfeed, or pollute my tank? TIA.......P.S. I love your videos, very informative ^5
Great info. Just got a Mandarine Goby due to flat worm infestation in my 29 gal. that was recommended by LFS. At feeding the Clowns take the food away from the Mandarine and the fish eats only 1 shrimp. Any advice would be appreciated.
Dude I can’t even get Java moss to grow in a fresh water tank. I told my self once I learn to grow plants I will learn to grow corrals but I’m still having no luck.
I purchased the quarantine tank kit because it came with more tests and since the starter kit was out of stock. I received a Ph 1Y meter indicator to put in my tank along with an ammonia meter to also put in my tank and a cupramine seachem 100ml bottle, my question is, what are the uses of those extra 3 items? do I put the Ph and Ammonia meter in my tank? Why measure Ph? and what is the cupramine bottle used for?
yer a good dude. not flashy just cozy direct info. rock on.
Thanks, Mark and Ken for another great episode!

I try and make it so that some food fall to the bottom for my inverts (coral shrimp, hermit crabes and sea urchin) is that not necessary?
Are frozen brine shrimp OK for fresh water, or still lacking in basic nutrition?
What about herbivores such as tangs?
Robert Mccreary tangs aren’t appropriate for the budget build tank. Therefore they aren’t covered in this video
Nori is good for them, just make sure it’s not seasoned in any way. But make sure or have a decently large sized thank before you get tangs.
Dude putting a goldfish in a fishbowl is like putting an emperor angel in a 20 gallon tank
Yeah that comment bothered me as a freshwater scrub that ventured into saltwater this year. Seems like saltwater people under-value freshwater fish
how about how many times a week do u need to feed?
Every day
I’ll up at to at least once a day

Coral and plants are different. On care me personally. I think a reef tank is easier
Some corals like GSP scan be easier to grow them flowers or some plants

How do feed angelfish please
How many times a day?
Frozen food is fine in the fridge for the next day, as long as it's irradiated.
Hey just wondering. Can I feed mealworms to my clowns and angels??
Can I feed them bloodworms?
Looked like a lot of pellets. 😑🤔
