I have to say, opening Ancient Dangers is one of my favorite things in Rimworld. I wish you went after them more often. That whole not knowing whats inside is just the best.
When I do go after them I usually go after them like crazy doing many in an hour =]
@@Rhadamant I believe it was on Wendy's run where you were settling in many places and visiting lots of Ancient Dangers in batches.
The limit was carrying capacity and meals.

@@Rhadamant I was thinking in the area with the solar panels since its outside but in the base walls. I was excited for a second when the supplier wen down because I thought he dropped a telescope...🤣🤣🤣 Well...its a tube...but not with an opening at both ends.

And now for something completely different, in case I don't manage to catch you during the next stream: I think the Eldritch Guards should be allowed to sell the biomutation pulser, grimoires, and other dangerous void stuff to the empire, at least to imperial space traders. In my headcanon that's not spreading it on this unsuspecting world, but transferring to some safe research or disposal institute.

I have 5k hours in the Steam version of the game and thousands of the pre steam vison. Im finding your way of play very interesting ive never thought of shooting the ancient danger wall open
I shoot a lot of stuff open. There's a lot of things inside complexes and dangers that are good brawlers like scythers or megaspiders or toughspikes, so taking a wall down at range can be real benefit
In this episode you finally build the solar panels in the open area inside your base. I know you don't like to build them one next to each other, I mean touching each other.
My mind went "why there are no smaller solar panels?" Like half of the actual ones. Costing half the materials and giving half of the output.
Maybe it's for simplicity.
I also thought about the 2 types of wind generators in Kenshi. The big one and the small one that you can plant on top of buildings.
But there's enough stuff in the base game. Adding too many "niche" things would increase complexity.
