I honestly didn't expect to have as much fun as I did with this game. Huge props to the developers and huge props to Knabble for another outstanding video!
Tips for fighting bosses and infused bugs: if you use a weapon the bosses week too it’ll deal more damage. If you upgrade it down a certain flavor path that a boss is weak to, it’ll deal even more damage.
Very good tip. But for this fight I didn't need to change the weapon much because I had a trinket that gave infused fresh weakness so everything was weak to my weapon. My fault for not showing that trinket.
i remember watching your other 100 days grounded video last summer and it was amazing and one of the reasons that summer was so great. glad you made another one.
This is the best Grounded series available on UA-cam! Please, please, please keep going with NG+3 or more even! On a side note, I'm surprised to see you not using Mom Genes in addition to the Mant with that build, especially when soloing. A few swings of your sword & the bosses melt themselves with their first AoE.
If this does well then we will for sure go into NG+3 and higher! The reason for not using mom genes was us feeling like they didn't do a whole lot. We tried them out at the start, but felt that other mutations helped us better for surviving.
nice see you guys back but what happened to tickle and here is a build you can use broodmother mask sleek mantis legs bulky fire ant chest buly and the fresh edge or blazing edge and acid edge mutations chopper meat shield [if you want meat shield you can replace it for anything else] coup de gra trapper peeper parry master cant wait for part 2
Very fun video, just about to hop into NG+ myself and wanted to see what I'm getting into...😱 This is gonna be rough on solo. Subbed and watching your valheim video next 🤟
As a man who’s tried the summon build, I now see that it’s a lot easier when someone’s focusing the agro instead of one person doing it solo (the armor is so so weak and the summons just stay in front of you, causing the thorns to proc on yourself so often it’s literally gambling every fight)
It’s like a 20% win 80% loss because 1: You need your summons to proc, 2: hope the boss focuses on them, 3: you don’t hit them on accident, and 4: Hope you don’t get touched. If it all works, their health will drain so so fast, but only if all 4 happens. That’s why I’m just sticking with a poison build I made with duck tape (Widow dagger of each element, sleek Broodmother mask for poison and venom, bulky Broodmother chest plate for more poison and defense and black widow leggings down sleek to buff the poison and add more poison for parrying since the dagger actually makes the parry window larger, along with the mom genes mutation for more poison damage and spiders, and the whittle widowling trinket to get baby black widows to stack venom)
@@b-radgamer4466 The Summon build would go so damn hard with Summon Thorns x2 and Summon Aggro on a trinket. You'd only need to focus on getting hits on target and living for the first few seconds until it happens is all
That's typically what both me and Knabble were running. We're still trying to keep an eye out for a trinket with Summon Aggro and Summon Thorns on it at the same time! Perhaps in NG+3/4 :)
Okay I might just be a tad bit late for this but for javamatic on ng+ you NEED a bed stationed next to all the objectives, as soon as there's a huge wave of bugs you set your respawn at the spot they're after
Every time you finish a 3 hit combo or an attack with any weapon you can quick block to reset the cooldown in between combos for example how the shovel takes forever in between ‘attacks’ you can just block or use a shield real quick to cancel the cooldown with no downside and it also saves a lot of time with any weapon other than stuff like daggers
I don’t know if you know this or not but you don’t have a habit of doing it like most grounded players so I thought I’d let you know just in case, it also works on crossbows but not normal bows but it does way less damage because of the ‘rough reload ‘debuff
you should defiantly use the mint mace, coaltana, broodmother club with the armor set, and the new weapons in the game pluses on your next run. Itll make fights so much easier
What sets/mutations would you recommend for that setup? I kept playing around with builds through the entirety of the playthrough and still not sure if I've landed on one that I want to try. I really wanted to make the wizard stuff work.
@@aragan1468 I use the Broodmother set with just about any weapon but mainly with the widow dagger and it adds extra poison damage. For the wizard stuff I mainly use a maxed out fire staff and only use it on the Broodmother. For the other bosses I use the Broodmother club, mint mace, sour axe, coaltana, the prod smacker and the mantis scythe. Just swap between them for which ever boss you fight. For mutations it mainly depends what weapon or what boss you plan on fighting. I mainly use apex predator, coupe de grass, and trapper peep.r
@@fatdabsallday I'll have to take a look at the Broodmother set, thanks! I was struggling with Melee at first, but the longer I played the easier it got when learning the attack patterns. We'll see what other curveballs are thrown our way in NG+3!
Using either the Red Ant or Fire Ant strategist set (we used fire ant for more armor), use the Mant, and have a trinket with Summon Thorns on it. When mobs hit the summons it does a lot of damage back to them. You can use other things like Mom Genes or Apex Predator with the bow to get wasps if you wanted as well.
For some reason the wasp queen was easier than the mantis and only took me and my friend two try’s with him lagging but the mantis took 10-15 attempts because of his lag but the wasp queen was super easy
It hurts my soul not seeing him use the correct weapons on bosses I recommend coaltana for brood salty club of the mother daemon on or scythe for Mantis and wasp queen
If you are talking about normal NPC wasps then they respawn after a few days. If it's the friendly wasps that are spawning, the other two people I am playing with are spawning them with the Bards Bow and Apex Predator.

The Many is a static boss, it rolls his effects at the start of the game so it's different every ng but it will stay the same if you die

@@lukemiedtke1843 It is the new armor sets from the ant queens. You'll need to poison the red ant queen, loot her, and those parts can make the set.

"New game plus is easier than your first playthrough". but meanwhile me getting one shot by a ant on ng+7. On mild

I have a trinket that infuses fresh weakness. So everything was weak to fresh when I fought them.
Yea trinkets play a big part in what you use

How do wasps keep spawning?
If you are talking about normal NPC wasps then they respawn after a few days. If it's the friendly wasps that are spawning, the other two people I am playing with are spawning them with the Bards Bow and Apex Predator.
What is newgame+?
New game + is pretty much doing the story over again with everything you got your first playthough, but all the bugs have gotten stronger.
