- This is way more fun than regular any%!
So fun starting a run with max move speed, any build available to use and of course building anything you want before you start the run. Actually at some points it's too fast for me and there's so much to think about with all the smoothies, switching mutations, weapons, armour and trinkets while trying to watch where I'm going and focus on keeping the lines as tight as possible.
Took me a bit longer than I wanted to get this out but we got it done! Few mistakes here and there (and of course one big one) but with such fast Assistant Manager and Mant boss fights I don't think I'd be able to beat this for a good while. One thing I did forget to try was using a mite to get the widow armour buff and a fresh Broodmother club to make the haze fight faster, potential time save there for next time.
I'll post a poll tomorrow with what run I should do next but let me know in the comments what you wanna see as well!

This speedrun is actually crazy, from the pre built structures to leaving candy corn all over the yard to speed yourself up the amount of time and effort it must of took to set all that up is insane and is probably one of the most impressive speed runs I’ve ever seen, congrats bro you deserve it! 🥳🥳🥳

This to me is what makes this not a speed run. You have to add the 15 hours of prep to his time in my opinion
@@patrickgrace1330 I hear that for sure, but being able to make it a separate category opens up so many new, fun, interesting runs, and if anyone wants to run from the very beginning into NG+1 and then finish the story there they can still do that!

@@patrickgrace1330 Well the 15 hours of prep is not in NG+ If he did all the stuff during NG+ then it wouldn't count as a Speedrun

Haha thanks, had to be done! Was thinking of doing a no ziplines run too soon, it is just more running but it's running with max speed so would be more interesting than just slippers and level 1 natural explorer
This is clearly fake. If you look closely you’ll see that he’s playing as Max and not Hoops who everyone knows is the best character
Welllll aktually akording to my kalkulations, hoops’ hair will produce a minuscule, unnoticeable, pretty much non-existent, amount of lag (maybe 0.000001 fps or something idk) because it moves around which automatically makes her the worst character 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓

Thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration! This must have taken a lot of time to set up…backpacks with all the Candy Cornlets, buildings, ziplines, elevators, and armor and weapons that are already premade! Can’t wait until we do higher NG+ Speedruns! Maybe (if you use cheats) you could set the effects on the Infused Weapons and Science Trinkets and whatnot. I have many ideas, and so does everyone else!

I believe you set it all up in Creative with Bugs or Custom with Quests, then changed all the settings back to normal and Supertoasted the REMIX.R. That’s what makes sense to me, at least.
I did everything legit in this world actually! It was my main save I started in 1.3. I didn't show the saves at the end but it still says singleplayer medium and not singleplayer custom or creative. Wanna do NG+3 run at some point with telepotties set up so might spawn in some cones for that. Then next would be NG+5 so I could use infused weapons, but the only difference between that and the NG+3 run would be infused weapons so not sure I'll even do that tbh

The two fastest boss fights I've had in one run it was crazy!
First I would use the surveyor scanner in a field station to scan the map for them. Then I would farm some black widow wafter emitter raids or in NG+ go merk all the anthills for some raw science and then dupe a load of feathers! Now that you can skip the duping animation you could even make a macro to dupe stuff as fast as possible (well you could do that anyway but now it's faster)
I just started recently. Watching other videos I see teleporters after NG+4. Wouldn't that technically be faster if the prep work was done properly. Like a lot faster
They would be faster yeah! Well getting around the map would be faster, not sure how much slower the boss fights might be. You unlock them in NG+2 so the earliest I could use them in a run would be NG+3 but if I were to do that I'd just do NG+5 so I could use infused weapons as well.
This run was just an NG+1 any% but of course anyone could do it on any NG+ level and do getting to the next NG+ leve instead of any%

NGt4 is easy to because infused weapon are the best but my game pass expires 😢 so I can’t play grounded no more. Before my game pass expired I got to NG+5
just buy the game if you made it that far then buy the game

Actually started on the NG+3 run today! Early days though just in +2 getting trinkets, builds, telepotties etc all sorted out. Any% is fun but remix will be the better run I think. Those sour balls man, so OP!

100% is major effort yeah and I only like to post pretty well refined runs so that'd take me a while. Maybe I could make an exception for 100% and post a sub-optimal run though
How do you get your game not freeze/stutter I’m on an Xbox series x and I am constantly freezing especially when I jump off my base is it because I’m on a shared world? It’s mine but idk if it’s run on there servers because it’s a shared world?
Playing a shared world is just like regular multiplayer, it's just that the saves are stored on the servers so you don't have to wait for your friend to be one to be able to play.
As for the stuttering, how much have you built in your world? I'd have thought the series x could handle quite a bit. Maybe recent patches have helped with performance

Very Impressive. I am little surprised you didn't have Head mount trophies for extra damage placed around. Especially for those pesky Fireflies.
I was thinking of doing that actually but the defense was easy enough without them (of course I die to them on my good run!)
You should use teleportys itll make this speedrun like 2 or 5 minutes shorter
You unlock them in NG+2 so I can only use them in a run in NG+3 or later

Yeah I didn't do that because any% means just get to the end credits with any amount/percentage of the game completed. I think after IBM I'll do "getting to NG+" like Paraly5er did but without all the waiting for the wasps. NG+5 at some point too so I can use telepotties, trinkets and infused weapons

I usually play Max but I played a regular playthrough a little while back and Pete's actually alright!
Question. What is stopping you from doing more on your NG file before NG+ to make this easier? I always make traps and things for the final MIX.R to make it easy.
It was already easy enough! Makes it a little bit less of an auto scroller if I don't have honeycombed walls everywhere keeping them at bay, def had to balance it though with making it consistent enough that I wouldn't fail it after a good run. That death to the firefly was silly too, shoulda just backed up and baited its attack instead of rushing

dude i play grounded alot but i didnt know u can kill the mant that quick, but can u tell me how bc the infused one was just so difficult to beat
Mant is weak to fresh damage, stabbing and slashing. Throwing spears does more damage and javelineer mutation makes them do even more damage. Combine that with the eyepatch, some fire ant armour and the +fresh damage up I luckily got on the trinket and he got absolutely melted! If you don't wanna throw and pick up spears so you can throw them again then a fresh toenail scimitar is also really good against him

Definitely made some mistakes in this run and could be impoved for sure! The boss fights were so fast and the rest of the run was clean enough though that I was happy with it for now

Glad I hit that! Pretty rare for me to hit that jump that well.
Just guessed tbh. Knew I wanted them steep enough to reach a decent speed but had to balance that with not spending too much time bouncing straight up the elevator not getting closer to the next objective. I think seeing as I have that top bit of the tower to zip to the sca.b I should just bounce all the way up there at the beginning, set spawn up there and then all my zips will have max acceleration and top speed

Paraly5er did it legit but you have to wait for day 5 to aggro the wasps so it's like 2.5 hours. Fortunately you can play previous versions on steam because on anything before update 1.4.2 you can clip through stuff using a chair, so because of that I might actually run "fresh start to NG+"

i need to know the secret to make such smooth elevators mine either bump me slightly outwards/get stuck or is 2 far from wall XD also why none ever use gas/bombs for defs event they seem like they would be good to me
Horizontal half walls! That's what worked for me at least, that and using snap to grid to place the bounce webs.
Gas/bombs in a regular any% run take time to acquire and making the defence event easier doesn't save any time, but I could definitely use some in a NG+ run! Good idea

Oh right yeah true! I've not seen one person use super gas arrows for the javamatic, could be good. Bombs could work too, just gotta be careful not to hit your defenses (not an issue on mild). I think gas might be less effective in NG+ with the increased bug health because all sources of DOT damage seem to be a flat number rather than based on a % of bug health, so the more and more health bugs get as you go up NG+ levels the less useful DOTs become unfortunately
@@HolyCodzta i have never cleared the game cuz i always played woah mode and i remember back when gas arrows was first introduced i used them to kill sleeping wolf spiders since they don't give you aggro unless you hit them with the arrow itself XD

Half horizontal walls are the trick! Then you can use the snap to grid feature when placing the webs so you don't have to fiddle around lining them up. Sorry I responded so late! Just seen this was a whole month ago
