@Dylan Bashian not what I said, many people have built great shoulders with upright rows, and cheated form but most people likely shouldn't rely on that approach

2 weeks ago I went to the doctor and he was like “you need to put on like 6-8lbs of muscle”. Im a 120lb stick of a female. So, Im like ok challenge accepted and I start going to the gym to lift. All of a sudden UA-cam is recommending “how to get capped delts” and I’m like “who even is Jay Cutler and what does he know about capped delts?” ☠️😭 so now I’m out here watching Jay Cutler videos religiously. Thanks youtube! Thanks Jay cutler! Y’all I trust this man over any Bro science 🧬, JayCutler science is gonna give me delts like Lisa Hamilton! Hell yea!
Shoulder presses aren’t as important because the focus should be on the side and rear delt. You should already have a pretty well developed front delt from chest compounds.
I always thought military presses were the best way to develop the delts. I know lateral raises are good though he was using a lot of momentum and swinging and swaying so technique wise I'm not sure that's the wisest form.
I don't know it seems like some of the guys you would consider having a lot of movement. It seems within that movement that they are hitting whatever they're trying to hit. I guess that's the point. Everyone's definitely different. But some exercises and you work a little better with me when I get to moving slightly more. Everybody have a good one
Cable crossovers are the only ones done correctly. The other exercises had horrible form. Jay is a beast and has great genetics which plays a huge factor on why his shoulders were pretty damn good.
Pros do exercises for feel and pump...a lot of their movements are done the way they are on purpose...it looks bad to non pros but trust me ..the way they do them are extremeky effective...but...u have to ensure you get the correct feel on each movement...
My idol from my teenage years points me to exercises for the least developed part of my body, which I always admired in him. This is the fulfillment of my dreams! Thank you Jay!!!
Any advantage to being seated for lateral raises? I do DB front raises, lateral raises, and rear delt flyes all from the standing position as it feels better & stronger, easier to control
So interesting, both of his lateral movements look like an upright row/raise hybrid. Almost like it’s the best way to scale a very weak movement, add a controllable element of cheating to allow a little more weight
Awesome skills. I met you numerous times man. What about behind the neck barbell presses. Them as well as every thing you mentioned. Blew my delts up as well as separation
your lateral raises look more like an upright row but i do them the same way i simply feel my side delts better that way if i have my arms to side is dont feel my side delts
Always quick and concise with plenty of info. Thanks as always Jay

His seated lateral raises just looks more like an upright row
Upright rows also hit the side delts hard, but yes he had notably cheated form and replicating that may not be a great idea
@@essewaxegard9423 totally agree. only way you’re building muscle from this is if you’re blasting the most exotic of horse testosterone cycles
But he’s the one with the huge delts, so humble yourself and learn

I know, where did he find this personality😂
Jay was my favorite , glad he kept pushing and didn’t let people tell him he couldn’t do it . He took it from Coleman like no one else could

You don't need to isolate the front delt if you do bench press. Especially if you do inclince presses

@jay hard-core fan sir.... why don't you introduce workout series for beginner
Are those lateral raises or lateral upright rows?
Many say "don't cheat and keep the form".
Cheating isn't always a bad thing. It helps to overload the muscle and gives a great pump
I mean perform one set in a right manner
You were rocking through all of them
