Great perspective Josh! I bought the PodGo at its initial release, so it’s “only” 4 yrs old… old tech in a world where tech is rapidly evolving. But who cares when the quality and features of the PG are so good. This was my first foray into modeling technology and I thought the price of entry was very reasonable for what you get. I guess I’m what you would call a “weekend warrior wannabe”, mostly jamming with buddys, playing at some friends parties, and doing some open mics. I wouldn’t use the advanced features of better modelers, and I don’t think I could discern sound quality differences anyways. I think the PG is a fantastic tool and so versatile!

Everything you said Josh is true. It is a great product. Although I'm having trouble with the wireless right now. The pod go is built like a tank solid dependable. Thanks Josh for a great channel

After 10 years of using the DigiTech rp360xp I finally upgraded to the Pod Go a few months ago. I tried the headrush core first but none of my DAWs would recognize the driver.

The only reasons why I would buy a Helix LT would be that it has some really great amps more than the Pod Go and that the Pod Go is very quickly reaching its DSP limit. In some cases the choice of effects is reduced significantly if a certain amp is chosen. This is a little annoying.
On the other hand some of the amps in the Pod Go are awesome. The Plexis are fantastic (I got a real one and am able to directly compare them to the original) , the Friedman and Fender Models great.
I do just need three channels, a clean one, a break up bluesy channel and a more classic rock channel with a decent reverb and a bit delay. Having a compressor and some drives is absolutely enough to play any gig with it.
I made the experience that it is rather more important to have an adequate FRFR if a modeler is supposed to be fun at all. Investing in a good FRFR is key. Fender provides some very affordable solutions here with the FR speakers.

I have both the Pod Go and a Valeton GP-200. The Pod Go is the superior unit. Much better reverbs and delays. The Valeton does have some great amps and distortions though. Good wahs too. Not a bad unit if you're on a budget. I like these modellers because they are convenient, versatile, and affordable. I use mine equally with amp and without.

You don't need an expensive modeler, i have the valeton 200 and get any sound i want. I did add an extra distortion pedal for stacking. I'm sure if you're a player and are going for a modeler, you'll have a distortion pedal.

I bought a pod go about 6 months ago. It was my first experience in the digital modeling world & to be honest I almost returned it because I was so overwhelmed. After spending countless hours with you tube creators like yourself I have grown to love this thing with the addition of an FRFR. I've also gotten good reviews of the sounds it's capable of. Love your channel, keep up the good work.

I own a pod go. As with you i still prefer my tube amps, Fender and Vox. When i gigged regularly i used my amos and pedal board that had a compressor, tube screamer, and delay al vintage pedals. I used the amps reverb. Im 80 years old now and only play in our church band and at som open mic jams. I got the pod go as you did in 2021 mainly because i wanted something i could take with me that didn't weigh so much. I also have the pod go carry bag and my wireless that i got from amazon. It gives me great sound for church and i use a few presets i made myself and i have a lot of your presets which i have made minor tweaks to mainly because my ears are different than yours. This pod go does everything that you would ever want it to and since the upgrade with new cabs it really is an awesome unit.
I have some custom ir's and they are really good but the 2.0 cab selection gives you a lot of mic selection and also you can place them where you find the sound is best.
I thank you for all your presets and the knowlege i have gained from your youtube channels.
The pod go does everything i need and probably a lot more than i need due to my playing style. Im very fortunate at my age that i can still play and really enjoy it. Sorry for being so long winded. I just want you to know that your work is really appreciated.

Still learning how to use the Pod Go, I have played acoustic for years. I dove into electric and definitely a learning curve. Your videos have helped. Would love to see a video on how to use the looper.

I have Helix floor and of course I love it.....but if I was gigging I'd use a pod go, with maybe two pedals and a looper and be good to go 👍🏻

Regarding your clickbait title : how could you possibly know my - or anybodys - needs? I'm getting tired of videos with all captions saying you must watch this and know that and look no further... The POD Go is a great device but definitely not covering all needs
