90% of my games are either Tracer or Sombra, or both. If it doesn't start that way, you can be sure by round 2 they'll swap to Tracer or Sombra. Tracer got a slap on the wrist because overall she's received the most benefits from all the season 9 changes, and Sombra is just outright still bad and polarizing design. When will Blizz learn they need to stop trying to make her toxic identity work in OW2 or make her bad because she's not healthy when she's strong and bad when she's not beacuse of her design.
I don't know if it's the worst patch in all of Overwatch 2 -- that weird Hog meta near the beginning was pretty bad -- but this patch is nasty, yeah. Sombra being a dominant hero kinda feels bad no matter what, same with Orisa, but mostly it just feels like the math is off. The big patch in the last season buffed health pools and nerfed healing while keeping damage relatively consistent, which means even ignoring the DPS passive, everything will feel like it dies either slowly and inevitably or impossibly quickly depending on how steamroll-y or dive-y the meta is. I really feel for tank players right now, but overall the game being in such a rough place makes matches feel pretty stressful, and then everybody gets tilted and toxic way faster than they used to. Or maybe that's just my experience.
Shout-out to the Cassidy players though, I'm glad their character is playable.

in order for her to not be s tier in high elo she'd need to get nerf'd to absolute dogwater making her unpickable for 90% of players. she's had ups and downs already in ow2

There have literally been multiple times tracer has not been good- goats meta for example
Hanzo is absolutely terrible right now. I barely play him now, and I have over 7000 hours on him.
Damn that's a lot of playtime, he is terrible but I still try to make him work despite the frustration😂
@@Hsjackow I try to as well, but at high Masters it's mostly not feasible. They don't realize that without one-shot, he would need compensation to his PRIMARY RoF. Putting most of his power into Storm Arrow just wasn't the play. Other DPS can do with just primary fire what Hanzo needs a cooldown to do.
@@afterthought9538 Yeah, completely agree with you there. I mainly play quick play now and I don't even pick Hanzo in comp as every other dps does what he does better. I've always said that they either need to give his headshot back with smaller arrow hitbox or just make him Cassidy with a bow(faster rate of fire and less movement penalty when drawing his bow). Mainly, I just find it sad that almost no one is talking about him being bad

Brig is S tier imo because she counters Ball, tracer, and sombra and provides aoe healing and can pack their tracers and sombras. Imo she’s higher than Lucio because ball, sombra, and tracer don’t really benefit as much from Lucio since they’re already super fast and running around doing their own thing, and brig is a good off-tank while they are roaming the map.
Brig won't ever be s if ana and zen aren't meta because who is she peeling for? You're better off running Lucio + Moira/Kiri than brig with ana/zen
Zarya is definitely situational, but I'd have placed her up in B-tier because if the enemy team has a stubborn Dva + Genji comp that won't switch, they'll start turbo-feeding. With other comps though, she does struggle and I feel an easy fix would be to give her right-click some more power or utility - faster velocity, more range or a better damage curve. She has three limitations - no damage if nobody shoots those bubbles, very unreliable range/poke damage and no mobility. No other tank (except maybe Rein) has all of these problems at once.

I also hate that Blizz keep trying to make every hero viable. It's ridiculous. 40 heroes, it's impossible. If they perform fine in their niche, that's enough, but yk... LW buff.

The problem with the reaper is if u dont know how to use him RIGHT then he prob is B tier. But in the right hands he is A/S tier still. Cuz DVA still is kinda meta and reaper can dodge her ult and sneak up against enemies with his teleport.
My point is i think reaper deserves a higher tier tho.
Im hyped and excited to play Venture, i REALLY loved her play style during her weekend out, so that gets me eager to play, but other then that these patch notes are definitely kinda ass, least Rein got some love finally.... I guess? Still an evil horse running the fucking show

I understand you love dive and faster heros but you cant hate people for liking alternative characters and enjoying brawl more or sustain more
The "fun characters" are subjective to each player and some people hate the characters you consider fun
The devs definitely aren't perfect but they do at least try to let most of their Playerbase have fun with their characters instead of making the rest of them terrible and only listening to people who enjoy characters like soldier, doom, cas, etc

i gave him an offensive utility and nerfed survivability and healing hope u like it:3:
Primary fire/aka the healing blossom:
Healing reduced from 80 to 70(could be 75 if they think its balanced)
-Charge time reduced from 1.25sec to 0.75 sec
-Removing the penalty of slowing you down if u have a fully charged blossom
Secondary fire/aka Thorn vally
-New passive:Venemous thorns:when lw deals 100dmg in on an enemy their dmg taken by any source is increased by 5%(this can stack so 200dmg is 10% and so on)
-This effect last for 2.5 sec IF lw isin't hitting you
-Ability JUMP/Rejuvinating dash
-Healing reduced from 60 to 40hp
-Ability 1/petal platoform
If petal platform is manually destroyed after 7(or less) second of being RISEN it will take 2sec from the next petal platform
-revert the petal platform hitbox change
-If petal platform isin't effected by pressure(player/bob....ect)petal will go down after 5sec, when its stepped on again it will countinue its duration
Ability 2/Grip
-cooldown reduced from 20 to 17sec
General: Lw's hp will be reduced to 200(+50 sheilds, so alll togheter 250hp)

Season 9 doesn't need many changes. Primarily, tank changes are needed.

guys season 9 was “fun” LMAO ur the first person i’ve heard say that. Don’t shit on lifeweaver WE NEED less supports like lucio/bap/illari/kiriko and more supports like lifeweaver/mercy/ana if u want a dps simple PLAY DPS if support can do dmg and poke and dive while also being able to provide utility as much as u don’t wanna admit it THEY ARE OVERTUNED.
Genji might be good but he was more fun s8 where you could still 1 shot nano blade for your shitty edits.
Ball is not going to be S tier same L take as last season when everyone said he is S tier. The adaptive shields change is taking away the only thing he is good at which is survivability. Chazm agreed with me.
Mercy doesn't need shit she was 1 of main offenders with things not dying the whole point of that big patch Zen/Lucio need a healing buff before mercy
This is wrong. The main offenders for things not dying before S9 were supports with burst healing and/or immortalities. Mercy is single target healing. Yes, Mercy-pocketed DPS were annoying, but she is in no way responsible for survivability pre S9.

Tanks have the most stats and solo potential therefore they are the most important in team fights. Ana is best anti tank support. Meanwhile you put her in C tier. Honestly I disagree with your tank/support tier list.
