I’m just going to go with books in general. I’m recovering from my 2nd knee surgery this year and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Emma Newman, Seanan McGuire, Rin Chupeco, John Scalzi, Laini Taylor or Philippe Gregory. They’ve taken me away from the pain, fear, restlessness and general yuckiness of recovery and I’m grateful for their creativity and talent 😊
I'm really thankful for Crooked Kingdom and the Six of Crows duology as a whole. I just love this series, and I was able to meet and connect with some really cool people and bond with them over the characters and events from the stories
I’m thankful everyday for such imaginative and creative authors who bless us with their books. 😊💜

The Ship of the Dead and Lord of Shadows. TSPTD has such a wonderful ending and gosh I adore each of those characters. Lord of Shadows really shows Cassie’s improvement and it was just amazing (also that cliffhanger at the end).
I'm thankful for the fandoms that keep my favourite characters alive and their stories going
I'm super thankful for The Chronicles of Narnia series, because those books gave young me the confidence in myself to read when I thought it was something I was incapable of doing on my own.

I'm so thankful for Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman. I read it this summer and it became one of my favorite books EVER. Such a beautiful story, which is going to be a beautiful movie too.
I was gonna comment this book too! The film looks like a masterpiece and I'm gonna simultaneously burst into tears and die when I finally get to see it in cinemas.
I got to see the movie at a movie festival in my country, and it IS a masterpiece!!!! Stunning performances and so so soooo emotional!! I hope you'll get to see it soon.
I’m really thankful for Harry Potter this year. My husband and I just finished listening to all the books on Audible together. He’s not a reader, so this was a first for him, and it was kind of a first for me, too, because I hadn’t read the books in several years. It was nice to bring them back into my life and involve my husband in the process, because it became a fun thing for us to do together.
Illustrated Harry Potter hype!! Curious how they're going to do Goblet and Order of Phoenix since they're the longest.
BenG I have a feeling they’re either going to be massive (and expensive) or split up into two volumes like the Deathly Hallows movie

I am thankful for The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. This book is just everything I need in my life, it remainds me why I love reading so much. And also Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson. This book is the best book I have read in months. Sanderson is a genius

i'm thankful for few books i read this year: there's wuthering heights by emily bronte (PURE GOLD) and Twilight (ik ik after all this time i've finally read it and it brought me back to 2008/12 when i was addicted to the movies)

I’m thankful for The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I read 3 times this year and actually had the pleasure of teaching in the form or a reading workshop as a part of my “mini student teaching class.” I loved it more each time I read it. I’m also thankful for all the beautiful poetry collections I’ve read as part of my New Poetry class (especially Equilibrium by Tiana Clark and Karankawa by Iliana Rocha) for making me, for the first time in my life, want to go out of my way to find poetry to read for fun.
We don’t celebrate thanksgiving in my country, but I want to say (in the least cheesy way possible) that I’m grateful for you, Regan. Whenever I’m going through a reading slump or just lacking some new material for new series to start etc, your recommendations have never let me down. Two authors you have introduced to me this year alone (cinda Williams chima and Naomi novik) have zoomed up to the top of my favourites list. Thanks again and keep it up :)
I really need to start picking up the next books in a series after I finish the first. So many unfinished series! This year, I am not really thankful for a single book itself, but more of for a service. I am extremely thankful to Audible. I don't have much time to physically read anymore, yet I luckily have a job where I can use an iPod. Audible has saved my reading and I, surprisingly, like audio books way more than I thought I would!
1. I'm thankful for LBTQ+ YA novels. I read some (or started some and then had to return them to the library) over the summer and really enjoyed them.
2. I'm thankful for the books I read over and over when I was a kid. I've been experiencing serious Dear America/Little House/E.B. White nostalgia the past week.
I just want to say thank you to you and your videos. I think this is a really uplifting and important thing to put out into the universe. That “you’re the best” at the beginning literally gave me chills. I just want to say thank you for being genuine and amazing. You’re rad.
I love the idea of this becoming a yearly thing! I'm hoping to get to my first Schwab book in December. This year, I'm thankful for discovering Leigh Bardugo and Rae Carson. Their books gave me so much joy. :)

But I’m most thankful for Lord of Shadows. I got together with one of my best friends when it was released in May and we made a HUGE thing out of it. It was amazing and those few days are something I won’t forget anytime soon

I haven't read any of them yet but I was super excited to start them after I finished acotar and then I heard so many bad things from booktubers that I thought maybe I shouldn't waste my time. I'm thankful for The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance (the Oathbringer thirst is real). I'm also thankful for rereading the Harry Potter series, Lord of Shadows, and the fun reads of the Lightbringer series and Gentleman Bastard's series.
My plunge into the epic fantasy genre, after mainly reading ya for the past 5/6 years, has totally transformed my reading taste.

I've definitely had to talk myself out of re-reading every series I own this year (although I still ended up re-reading a lot anyway!). I wish I liked Lord of Shadows more but I really did not (in fact, my first booktube video was a review/rant about that book). I loved When Dimple Met Rishi, and I can't wait for Sandhya Menon's next book! I usually don't read contemporary either, but it was super cool to get into that book!

First of all, I love your videos and have been following you for years. You have inspired me and my reading a lot, as I also looove fantasy, fashion and generally your sense of humour 😄
I want to give you a recommendation that really touched me and became a favourite for me: The Liveship Traders trilogy by Robin Hobb. The books are definitely big and might seem like a big project. But I absolutely flew through them. I've never experienced such a line of characters who not only you come to love, but also really grow throughout the trilogy. And it's just so magical. Please go read about them. I think you will absolutely love them! ❤️

I didn't know the Illustrated HP books coming out one per year was a thing! Maybe I can ask for them for my birthday each year! They are so immensely gorgeous, but I could never justify buying them for myself. Too costly. But... if I ask and people buy it for me, that's okay, right?

Jennifer Diaz If you don't mind spoilers for the Mortal instruments... then yes you could technically read the dark Artifices first. Although I would always recommend to read her books in the chronological publishing order. You just understand a lot more.. :)
