I'm a caps fan but holy heck, I've missed this kind of player since Kronwall, he's like a mix between Kronwall and Lidström and it's so cool to watch, reminder that this is his first NHL season aswell, many years to come and to improve although he already seem to be a full-fledged NHL-player in my eyes!
So damn big, strong, and balanced. When dudes go to check him they just bounce off him and get sat down on their asses. This kid is already a Hockeytown legend.
He has amazing awareness. Sees it coming, shifts his weight and braces his shoulder. Being taller than most, you'll always hit a guy higher than he is expecting. In the last clip, he only shoved a guy on the shoulder and sent him spinning down.
Seider went from being considered a horrible draft pick, a 2nd rounder "at best" as they said, to dominating in the AHL and having to leave the league because it was just too easy for him, to going to the SHL a mens league in Sweden, and winning the SHL"s version of the Norris trophy, to playing exceptional at the World Juniors, had a very impressive training camp, joining the Red Wings, instantly becoming an important asset, winning Rookie of the month in his first month in the NHL, to winning the Calder. I mean that's just insanity. The kids accolades just keep piling up, it's not if he will the Norris, but when. He will probably also win a cup or 2 in his career. It's just such a thing of beauty to see all the haters and doubters be absolutely rolled when they questioned this kids ability. He deserves everything he gets. He's also a class act, and could probably be the future captain of the Wings.
Mo is just such a blast to watch. I'm not even a Wings fan, I just want to see how far this kid gets and how much of an impact he can continue to make in the league! What a great player!
Hard to believe this guy will not be a superstar. He has an incredible combination of raw strength and finesse. Absolute monster player and will be the best player from this rookie class by a mile when all is said and done.
IKR I keep talking about thatt...the way he just stares at other team's players cuz he knows they wanna attack him but probably would be knocked out in 10 seconds
Everything well calculated and every reverse hit is so perfectly baited in, definitely superstar level and can’t wait for more to come, in his nhl career.
not even a red wings fan but everytime i watch seider's hits, they are always clean and strong. his reverse checks are crazy good and you rarely see anything like it.
Wow this kid is going to be a human wrecking machine I hope his back holds up. Great hands great stride and strong like bull! Can’t wait to see him evolve over the years to come
When big buff left the NHL I was so sad that we lost a big guy with bone crushing hits. We good, guy is an unstoppable force. Definitely going to watch more Red Wing games this next season.
This is the kind of dman GM’s are all hunting for. He’s got the optimal size, strength, length and speed, he’s got actual skill and hockey sense, he’s mean and he doesn’t back down from anyone. I can’t think of another comparable without making up some combination of past Norris winners.
A record number of reverse checks in a rookie season. He hits clean and hard. Fucking great. I'd tell Boston to take notes, but Boston doesn't care about clean. And Crosby hitting past the official - same old bitch.
Nobody hits like Seider with that consistency. Magic how he always seems to see hits incoming, but his body does not give you a sign of whats to come. The second you touch him... BAM! floored.
100% his favorite thing to do is hold the puck knowing someone’s coming to hit him, passing it almost last second then rocking the guy coming at him knowing he’s not gonna expect it lmao 😭 just baits them into coming at him
Lol, this is like a definite scenario where you don't watch the tape on a rookie and want to give him the 'ol welcome to the NHL' but you get served a heapin steamin slice of humble pie. Guys are gonna learn real fast. He isn't an offensive D-man that doesn't know how big he is... He's puttin every kilo into these checks, and he doesn't take himself out of the play often when he does it.
It's the funniest shit when they try to hit him and get sent on their azz while Seider barely moves. But it's the icing on the cake when the same happens when they hit him from behind. That's just absurd.
He keeps getting stronger. 2023-24 will be much of the same. He is known for working hard off the ice and in the off season. Had a little sophomore slump hoping he rolls past it this year. He is in a better defensive pairing now.
A lot is made of Seider’s physicality, he does bring the wood, but he also has great hands and good vision. LCA will be rocking like the Joe soon!! #LGRW
Calder Trophy hands down... everything else makes no sense. 20 years of age, first pairing D with most ice time and 50 points for that Red Wings team ist incredible. He has almost as much points as the "rookie" :D forward Bunting. This is the biggest joke of the season... Bunting as Calder finalist :D 6 years older, he shouldn't even be considered a rookie.
Love that reverse hit. Looks like he had a couple of giveaways and maybe an icing before doling them out though. If he can move the puck more cleanly and still level people coming in, that’s going to open up a lot of options. Very promising player. Will be fun to watch.
Seider is an absolute unit. The anticipation of people trying to hit him and they’re the ones ending up on the ground just shows they’re hitting a tree.
Woah.... I think I'll better stick to figure skating :D Ice hockey is really cool and I would like to try it out, but never in a match. These hits and bodychecks are terrifying
Fast becoming my favourite player. He is a brick wall flattens players of 1or 2 steps that's serious power. I played Aussie rules a game we bump.lots in and this guy hits like Byron pickett look him up. He destroyed guys put them to sleep. Moritz also knows nit to wait for the hit step into it they'll skyway end up second best not many know to do this.
The play vs the Flyers @2:54 is absurd, Seider shoves F1 to the ice 1-handed to regain possession, toe drags F2 & sauces a pass over F3's stick for the breakout. It honestly looks like he's not even trying 😂😂😂 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Exactly, as a wings fan, watching these highlights is only a fraction of what he’s actually done. The kid can read the ice better than any rookie this year, Idc what anyone says. Also Detroit was rooting for the Oilers man. Tough loss, hope to see Kenny Holland make some GOOD offseason moves for ya and get you guys right, next year.

The big difference between Seider and Kronwall is that Seider is good at hockey and not just late hits.
@@Locomyman i think he had late hits...and was good at hockey is that crazy?
Kronwall was a great hockey player with great timing on his hits for the most part. Sounds like you know someone...
@@lililillililillililillilil2116 get new material
@@Locomyman late hits? Lol more like players skating with heads down
He’s the type of defenseman you build a team around. An absolute UNIT. His overall game is so good.
he is the MJ in red wings
So damn big, strong, and balanced. When dudes go to check him they just bounce off him and get sat down on their asses. This kid is already a Hockeytown legend.
He has amazing awareness. Sees it coming, shifts his weight and braces his shoulder. Being taller than most, you'll always hit a guy higher than he is expecting. In the last clip, he only shoved a guy on the shoulder and sent him spinning down.
Yeah it’s also technique he corkscrews his hips to deflect the incoming hit and follows up with a shoulder
He's already becoming my favorite active player for the Red Wings.
Love the reverse hits
Such a great pick for the Wings, kids a rookie and he’s playing like he’s been in the league for years! Love to see it
Seider went from being considered a horrible draft pick, a 2nd rounder "at best" as they said, to dominating in the AHL and having to leave the league because it was just too easy for him, to going to the SHL a mens league in Sweden, and winning the SHL"s version of the Norris trophy, to playing exceptional at the World Juniors, had a very impressive training camp, joining the Red Wings, instantly becoming an important asset, winning Rookie of the month in his first month in the NHL, to winning the Calder. German hockey has got some stuff figured out in the past few years. They're producing some insane players!
Mo is just such a blast to watch. I'm not even a Wings fan, I just want to see how far this kid gets and how much of an impact he can continue to make in the league! What a great player!
I hope that cup or 2 you mentioned will be with Detroit.
@@Thumper1986 Greetings from Mannheim (Germany) 😉💪
This video should be played when he wins the Calder
Honestly he should receive Norris votes, played most of the year with DeKeyser, a literal boat anchor
@@klompsauce Dekeyser won't be back this season coming up according to the rumors🥳
No, too much of the Audio is missing for this to be used.
Well he just won it the other day and I'm watching it now!
The Guy can’t even order a beer in the states 😂 monster
Hard to believe this guy will not be a superstar. He has an incredible combination of raw strength and finesse. Absolute monster player and will be the best player from this rookie class by a mile when all is said and done.
I love his eyes he watches the other players he knows when he going to be attacked his eyes are always on the lookout he pays attention
IKR I keep talking about thatt...the way he just stares at other team's players cuz he knows they wanna attack him but probably would be knocked out in 10 seconds
Listening to Ken and Mick while watching Seider wreck fools is absolute gold.
I love this guy, he brings the physicality back to hockey. Guy's an absolute tank.
Everything well calculated and every reverse hit is so perfectly baited in, definitely superstar level and can’t wait for more to come, in his nhl career.
hes bringing back that 90's physical style of play
Seider plays The First Season Like His 10 Season in The NHL Awesome Pick
Habs fan here. Love the way this kid plays
My favorite is when he just barely pushed the guy down with a light touch to his side. SO FUNNY 🤣
Mickey Redmond's chuckle is the best in that clip. So funny.
Love how he doesn’t care who you are he will do whatever he wants.
Need a lot more like him
not even a red wings fan but everytime i watch seider's hits, they are always clean and strong. his reverse checks are crazy good and you rarely see anything like it.
the thing about mo Seider is he’s just gonna get bigger better and meaner the way ya need to play the game at this level 🤷♂️👍
He’s taken Leon Draisiatl’s approach to chumps trying to run him over. These are all legal, beautiful hits.
So German
Everyone gets upset cause they have their multiyear nhl experienced ego and a rookie just sits em all down no worse for wear.
Thank you so much for making this. Awesome, and hard to believe thats not his best game and he was a rookie. Calder winner all the way
Absolutely love this guy. Old school. New school.
i remember the reactions by the draft...now you see it...respect everyone
Wow this kid is going to be a human wrecking machine I hope his back holds up. Great hands great stride and strong like bull! Can’t wait to see him evolve over the years to come
When big buff left the NHL I was so sad that we lost a big guy with bone crushing hits. We good, guy is an unstoppable force. Definitely going to watch more Red Wing games this next season.
im convinced seider is never rattled and lowkey would fight all 5 guys a once lmaooo
GERMAN POWER...Seider💪 !!! Greets from GERMANY 🇩🇪 👋😎🏒👍
Greetings from Mannheim 😁🙋🏻♂️
We tried the whole German power movement. It didn't work out and somehow the Japanese got nuked over it.

NHL's all-time #1 bitch.
Smartest thing I’ve read on the internet today
I love how these hits look so effortless an unspectacular, but are absolutely brutal.
this kid is so much fun to watch
it speaks for itself, that you can do a 4min hits video from a player in his rookie year!
Sidney you don't want that smoke my guy lol Seider is an absolute tank
you guys got a big hit highlight reel. the avs got a stanley cup highlight reel. 2022 tastes good
That one handed shove is hilarious
He Pretends like he doesn’t see them coming it’s beautiful

Remember when everyone was like “what is Yzerman doing!? Who the hell is this kid!?” Yeah that was awesome
Woah this kid might be my new fave player when ovi and brayden schenn retires, even tho he plays for our old rivals, LETS GO BLUES
Leaf fan. Guy deserves the Calder.
the savior
Imagine this guy when he's 26. He's tossing NHL forecheckers to the ice with one hand and he's barely out of high school!

Bro is stupid strong and balanced😳😳hitting and shoving people with ease
Seider is the one guy who really didn't look like a rookie in his rookie season.
Geez, he’s the master of the reverse hit. Everyone squares up and ol boy says “sike.”
Mo Seider😀👍💪 Eine deutsche Eiche!!
His bully ball is badass 😆the wing's have been blessed!
1:58 The opposition thinks Seider is an easy target, but he lays down the boom to the competition when they least expect it.
That counter hit on Krieder was legit, Krieder is a pretty big dude who usually finishes those...hat said alot, especially in some' rookie' shit
2:44 made my day. He bounced away like a balloon :D
It's the funniest shit when they try to hit him and get sent on their azz while Seider barely moves. But it's the icing on the cake when the same happens when they hit him from behind. That's just absurd.
This kids got the jam.
Sieder, Reaves, Buff, and Weber nuff said
I’m a Kraken and Sharks fan, but I am a huge fan of this Seider kid and Tanner Jeannot in Nashville. We need more of those guys in the league

I love how seider does not care when he does it
0:23 11 thought about going seider for a second but rethought his actions😂
Seider reminds me of Dustin Byfuglien. This is a compilation of Seider reverse hitting players who were attempting to hit him. Impressive.
The next kronwall! Lets go baby!
If there was an award for hardest hitter in hockey it’d be named after him.
You know it's a good hit when the opposing fans stand up and applaud (Dallas/Raffl hit)!!!
What a machine
Seider is an absolute unit. The anticipation of people trying to hit him and they’re the ones ending up on the ground just shows they’re hitting a tree.
Always happy to see a Red Wing taking a swing at Crosbaby. Eat glove, Kidney.
Reminds me of a smaller version of dustin bufyglien. Both great skaters and skilled offensively, reliable at own end and delivering gladly the BOOM!
Kreider is a tank and he dropped him like it was nothing.
Can he play some linebacker for the lions too ?
what a flippin beauty
I'm a bolts fan, but I like him.
Woah.... I think I'll better stick to figure skating :D Ice hockey is really cool and I would like to try it out, but never in a match. These hits and bodychecks are terrifying
You NEVER mess with a hockey player. They are fighters who run on ice all day and can put a puck through your face 50 feet away.
Future Norris winner 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
2:43 Mans deadass did the Kung-Fu Panda butt launch 😂
This guy out here playing strong safety
he got a good technique. It's not that he is much stronger or heavier than others, just a really nice technique in his balance and timing.
Jesus christ. Is he not the best reverse hitter in hockey already? Not only that, but the way he just disposes of dudes. He’s insane.
it's so funny to watch people trying to bring him down and then they just bounce off 🤣
Norris Seider
what happen in last clip? Why was there 3 vs Seider?

Crosby the LeBron of NHL.
Crosbys slowing down. Penguins will be irrelevant in a few years time and for a long time.
Only Germany can create those tanks. Unnecessary
0:21 I don't know why this is my favourite Mo hit.
POV of a bug hitting the windshield at freeway speed.
2:55 GIGACHAD
This guy plays like Lidstrom, but throws big hits and even Uno reverse hits like Forsberg used to. He has a bright future.
BIG MO!!!
The Mannheim Steamroller!!!
Love this kid big buff 2.0
Wait till he gets stronger 😳 he’ll win the Calder by a landslide it’s his two way game that made it not even close.

I love Cindy Crosby throwing a punch once refs got in between them.
