    Went with 250’s on my 11’ clamshell which were exact replacements for the original. (LaVanture LGP10-280-250 28”)
    They are strong.

      Thanks for that info. My old ones were unreadable. These new ones probably won't last long then. 👍

    I bought these struts too. Can't find where to drill holes for my retro fit. I've seen the new ones install with the low end toward the front end of the trailer. Yours is installed with the low end towards the rear which should help lift the weight but may also end up with bent rods... Thoughts?

      They are still working out great. I installed them the way the original ones were. Hopefully no future issues knock on wood. But thanks for your comment .

      @@Roadhvac im looking for the gasket on the back and front of my clamshell trailer.Its to keep the rd slush out when towing.Also the door access gaskets.i cant seem to find videos or part numbers for this.Thanks

      Well, if I had to do it again I would have got a heavier weight strut.

      @@timtofani8609 Try trailer parts depot. They sell a rubber roll about 3" wide.

      Agree. If I had to do it over again I would of purchased a heavier shock.
