Let me know what you thought about the video. Do you agree or have anything to add to the theories on Johnny and Alt. I’m interested in what you all think. Thanks chooms.
I was actually thinking about this possibility. The mere thought of having a potential meet up with Johnny and the engram is such a fun and twisted concept but so fucking cyberpunk that it'd be almost criminal if it doesn't happen. As always, great fucking video dude!
@@MrKrampenDamp Thanks dude I really appreciate the support and kind words. It would be almost chronically cyberpunk to have a copy meet the original, but it’s such a fun concept to watch play out. (Even if they’re in technicality two copies) of course the one in the body would claim to be the real since he has the body.
@@LayedBackGamers Oh, totally. Each Johnny version would claim to be the real one for one reason or another and make it almost impossible to make a choice. Maybe in that meeting that's how we unlock that relic skill tree? Regardless, it's a cool theory.
I like your theory, all the pieces seem to fit nicely, and as Claire observed,"punks from those days were a breed apart". One part of your theory gives pause though, how could they make a cloned body for V to return to? I'm thinking that a sample would have needed to be taken before the chip started to alter his genetics, so before Dexter shot them. Taking a sample immediately afterwards might be close enough for a stable engram. It's possible that Viktor has a sample of V's DNA from before or immediately after the upload. V's tower crib might also contain a sample but both of these conjectures are entirely speculative. In any case great theory, great vid. I've been really enjoying your content and I'm looking forward to the Alt/Angel video. Thanks for your efforts.
Hey can you maybe do a video on WHY Johnny's engram is on the chip, and who actually set it up? It's been the one puzzle in CP 2077 that's been driving me nuts. From what I can gather in game, there are conflicting data points about who put Johnny on the chip, and why. An email in Yorinobu's suite, between him and Netwatch, implies it was planned by Yorinobu. He agreed to give NW the chip. They say in the email that any engram would do, but they asked him why he chose Silverhand. He responds with basically "I have a reason, but it's tl;dr. Maybe I'll tell you some later day." But then if you read the emails on the NW agent's laptop in the GIM, between them and Evelyn, it suggests that they knew damn well Silverhand was on the chip, and that was the whole point. Evelyn even calls them out on this when she's working her deal with them. Since she's double crossing the VDBs in this scenario, to give the chip to NW, that beggars the question of why was Silverhand on the chip at all? If Yorinobu wasn't trying to sell it to NW, and the VDBs only heard about him leaving Japan with the chip, then either Yorinobu had him on the chip for his own reasons, OR, the VDBs had a mole so deep in Arasaka, that they were able to infiltrate Mikoshi to smuggle Silverhand onto the chip?!? Mikoshi?! A facility so secure even the Rogue AI Alt couldn't get into it? Thus forcing us to physically assault the compound to gain access? The VDBs got into THAT place? That seems unlikely. So, how did he end up on the chip? Why? Some of this feels like plot holes due to late game rewrites, and they just missed the sweep when trying to clear the outdated lore clips but, it still is a mystery as to why he's on the chip at all. I'd LOVE to see you try and tackle that with your deep dives that you devote to this game.
Thank you for the support and kind comment brotha! Hopefully my back becomes ripped instead of shattered. I hope you continue to enjoy all my videos and I look forward to seeing ya in the comments again!
@@LayedBackGamersi will suggest that you go to your nearest ripperdoc and get chippet to get some back support. In word of another legend "it's time to chrome up".
Something tells me the Silverhand construct was handed over to Arasaka in an edited state in order to cover for Morgan Blackhand's actions during the 2023 AHQ attack.
It was araska that edited his memory of the tower raid after they got his body so they could blame him for the attack but there are several versions of Johnny out there alt too and the alt you meet is an ai that got ahold of a part of alt
nah johnnys engram was created by alt and processed by spider murphy during johnnys dying moments, for how arasaka got his construct is simple it was uploaded to mikoshi. Johnnys body was dumped and it was recovered and preserved by a fangirl of his she later died. My theory is that yorinobu saw a way to build his own empire by selling it to net watch and net watch using johnnys construct to get through the black wall to either capture alt or talk to her.
The real Silverhand died like a random NPC. Smasher was fighting Shaitan when Johnny unloaded his Malorian and smg from behind, Smasher just turn around and shot him, splitting him in half. Spider Murphy then soulkilled Johnny.
@@venvengNah, both Shaitan and Silverhand died heroically, cause Silverhand went literal 1 on 1 and lost badly. Shit is brave and gave enough time for Shaitan to recover and fight smasher.
@@mohdshahariar5833true the line after he dies probably throws alot of people off when they say not even a second and he was gone but alot of people wouldn't even last that long against smasher
No matter how many times I have played thru the game, that little segment with Johnny at his "grave" always hits me in the feels. Keanu does a great job of sounding absolutely defeated and wrecked emotionally.
A lot of people claim Keanu's voice acting falls flat, but I personally find it to be very fitting for how his character is written. His lines contain a lot of irony and humor that works with Keanu's delivery of them. Especially since Keanu has played quite a few characters who have been through it all. He knows how to hit those feels with a defeated and disappointed character.
@@LayedBackGamers i love his portrayal of Johnny, personally. He has that somewhat of an asshole, disaffected and jaded vibe thing going with a healthy level of pathos. Works for me.
His voice falls flat for most of the early game and only picks up some steam towards the end, he is also much better in Phantom liberty, I'm certain he had learned a lot as a VA and improved upon it.
If this is true, and the Silverhand engram in V is a possible copy, it brings up a more interesting question: Does Rogue know about this given her status as a Fixer?
I have a feeling that the only way they wouldn't make it to 2077, is if Rogue sold them out to Arasaka/Smasher. Her presumed son Trace was apart of the edgerunners group transporting the nuke. She's known to sell out friends and family, so the same could've happened here.
@Ramon they did heavily imply the possibility that she sold them out. Johnny was petty curious of how she seems to be the only one from that night that's not only alive, but thrived after the attack.
Skye in clouds has Spiders netrunner icon as a stomach tattoo. The other option in clouds is Angel. Might be coincidence, might have some deeper connection.
More likely a reused asset, many of the games assets are used over and over. One more extreme example is lizzy wizzu and michiku Arasaka, ever wondered what lizzy wizzy would look like without chrome? She would look like michiku Arasaka, they use the exact same model but with different skin materials
This reminds me, after you saved that monk form maelstrom in one of the earlie side-quests, you'll find the two brothers in Japantown at a later date, and are able to have a short conversation with them, and ask them about their opinions on constructs and enlightenment. When you choose to ask johny about his opinion about if he's just a copy, he replies, somewhat angry: 'if the real Johny is dead, thats his problem, not mine' As far as hints towards your theory go, this would be a pretty good one.
Didn't CDPR say that "Phantom Liberty" wasn't going to change any of the endings? Genuine question. Also, on Silverhand being cloned: In the alternate non-canon "CyberGeneration", Johnny is not cloned once but twice. Also, look for the name "Arabella" being mentioned anywhere in the game. That's Spider Murphy's real name.
There was a leak that said there was going to be an extra ending option, but it was only going to be a slight change to the Devil ending. Personally, I'm hoping that part isn't true, or that what I suspect is going to happen, does happen, because if this *is* true, its going to make almost everyone unhappy, one way or another. One lot will be pissed because they didn't get the ending they wanted, one lot will be pissed because they will have to take an ending path they didn't want to, and the rest of us will just be pissed in general. Chunks of Cybergeneration are still cannon, like the Carbon Plague. They just changed the time (from 2025-2027 to 2020) and length of the plague lasting and severity. (lasting a couple of months instead of a couple of years) Really, we are just spit balling till the dlc hits and we get the edgerunners supliment pack with a revised timeline history of events between 2045 and 2076 ( the edgerunners supliment is supposed to catch RED up to then, ready for tabletop players to be able to play in 2077)
I have a feeling atleast some details of CyberGeneration will be reused in Canon. Technically some portions are already! I'm not too sure on the ending portion, I know that currently it is confirmed at least some dialogue options and interactions are changed in the endings. Also, I will definitely be scanning Phantom Liberty for mention of Murphy/Arabella...if she isn't just inserted as a supporting character/netrunner as Recluse.
Considering the mysterious nature or the net, and by extension Runners within Mikoshi, there’s a lot of potential Alts (lol). Songbird in PL clearly bothers Johnny, like Judy reminded Johnny of Alt (granted this is V’s speculation). Alt could have snuck into Lucy. If Blackhand is around (speculate) and Rache is clearly another Deamon King beyond the wall, who’s to say who isn’t back in the physical world, even Del (depending on your ending) could be a person you’ve just passed by.
It's a nice thought to think johnny and alt made it out, but if the cyberpunk mythos teaches us anything, it's that there are never any happy endings . I don't see them pulling some shit like this off, even if I wish they would. It's too perfect
I know it's perfect, but it isn't in Night city tho, the real ones are in a different place away from it all. Happy ending is feasible here cause they finally away from everything. They could have an ending similar to the witcher books, which is left open to interpretation
Silverhand's engram has 84% stability In the damaged container, then it gets inserted into a dying person then it gets inserted into v and gets hit by a bullet so that explains why Silverhand's memories aren't trustworthy but I don't think the game follows everything from the book.
Game is 100% loyal to source material. Ive scoured every nook in the game, read every email and pda message like obsessed autistic that I am. 77 is gonna work as background to the new cp tabletop after RED
Hmmm, nice theory. And it would make for a very interesting storyline and alternate ending. I can see V having to do a series of jobs to gain the real original Silverhand and Angel/Alt's trust. Succeed, and V gets cloned into a new body, free of the engram and able to live out however long a life Night City allows him to. Fail, and V is stuck with the same choice he already had. or maybe you even end up with the engram Johnny wiped, and V dying. Either way, while I know CDPR has said Liberty will be the only DLC, we can still hope that something like this is gi9ven to us. It ould be nice to help add to the lore and give us even more things to do along the way.
Gotta tell you, good work with the videos so far, each has been an interesting watch and got me and my friend to really talk in depth about the lore implications I learned from you
I'm glad that you and your friend are having some great conversations on these topics! I really enjoy creating these videos and am always happy when it sparks conversations and new ideas, or even gets new people into the lore of Cyberpunk. I really appreciate your kind words and support, so I hope that you continue to enjoy the videos and they get some new ideas sparkin as well!
One slight adjustment on the ingram would allow it to be an automatic download from the Arasaka HQ. This would cause an apocalyptic event of everyone slowly becoming Johnny Silverhand and even if some Edgerunners break into the tower and reverse the auto update those infected by it would still only have 6 months to live.
I've had a similar theory for a while, but came to a different conclusion. Slight differences here and there, as I had no idea about Recluse. I was still functioning under the leaks from way back that pretty much said Songbird was S.M.. Johnny's head is what gets shipped to Angel, not his whole body. It's a mini-nuke container, and we see what those look like when we storm 'Saka in 2077. It is not big enough to fit a whole torso. The question really is whether the chip with his engram (and a copy of Soulkiller) was in his head when it got there or if 'Saka had beaten her to it. Also, how badly did the Old Net get screwed by Rache, because he kinda fucked everything up if it's as "virtual wasteland" as it's described. The plan (likely) was for Johnny to get hit with Soulkiller, have them pull Johnny's body out, and then upload Johnny into the Net so he could be with Alt in there. But, because of the nature of the mission and Rache being a humongous DICK, that didn't work out so great. If she had the engram already, Alt (Angel) would need to clear out the Net so that she would be able to even upload Johnny. If she didn't, she would need to go into the Net to figure out where the hell his engram ended up. Johnny was a blithering idiot when it came to NetRunning, you think he's gonna handle getting turned into what is essentially an AI of himself and then getting uploaded into a Net that's filled with roaming Daemons, BlackICE, Rogue AIs, and RABIDs well? But those roaming Daemons, BlackICE, Rogue AIs, and RABIDs had another target too. Angel's "engramatic" form of Alt. They hound her while she attempts to clear out the Net (and find Johnny if necessary), and in the process, she starts to suffer from the Cyberpunk version of Rampancy from Halo (keep in mind, if Angel IS Alt, that means that engram of Alt is 22 years old by the time we see her in RED. I know engrams "aren't AIs", but they're still programs). This is what changes Angel (thus that engram of Alt) into the form we see in 2077 (side note: I've taken to calling them "Banshees" and "Spectres", if we ever see one of a male engram at least). I assumed that, at best, Songbird/S.M. would have a back-up of Alt, maybe a back-up of Johnny, and would need to use artificial bodies to bring them into the real world if they wanted to, but first they'd have to "re-expose" Alt to her base code so she can resurrect her sense of self. Since it's such a big op, V calls in every favor he can, including ones from Militech earned in PL, playing Militech into thinking they'd get not one but TWO engrams, strike a major blow to 'Saka and push them out of NC, and maybe even get a copy of Soulkiller themselves. Saul and Rogue both die, but it works. If they got super lucky, maybe V would have found an old cloning or synthetic lab in the BioTechnica pyramids they could use, and they'd have to make an epic guns-blazing last stand (similar to how it is in the ending where you storm 'Saka solo) against Militech since you backed out of the part of the deal where you would hand over Johnny and Alt's engrams after the job was done. If you survive, golden escape into the sunset for everyone; Johnny, Angel, Panam, Judy, and V either leave for Arizona together, or Johnny and Angel go far off into the Badlands while V, Judy, and Panam head to Arizona. All while Johnny, Angel, and V are in new clone/synthetic/otherwise artificial bodies.

There is a group that V can join... Its a ending you are not thinking of.. This is the ending I think is most likely.. V is too important to let go for this group.. This group has been watching you throughout the Cyberpunk 2077 game.. From what I remember of other lore bites.. Cunningham does not care about her.. Who we are calling Cunningham is also not really Cunningham but something that takes the digital appearance of her.. She mentions it herself that she basically devours other programs and AIs and makes them part of herself.. Meaning. If Johnny Silverhand is absorbed in, he will basically become no more. His program will just become part of her. Or if its instead of him its V that does it if you go by that ending. It all depends on what one is considered cannon.. The one that to me makes the most sense is the Blue Eye's ending. Where V is doing one supposed last mission for the Blue Eyes. I am convinced this is the route they are going to take. I have more reasons behind my theory but honestly it will take a while of explaining those.
We know now that the blackwall is just for show,it doesn't hold back AIs,as we see with Delamain. My theory is that Alt and Spider and Bartmoss(now turned AI/soulkilled) alongside Johnny are trying to destroy the corps from within. Mr Blue Eyes might be all of them inhabiting the same body or something like that.
Ah my favourite theory! Can't wait to see what happens here... So many little things that have a big effect and large gaps in story that doesn't give us the full scoop. Honestly I'll be very disappointed if by the story the canon is that Arasaka tracked them down and then the rest ends up as we know in 2077. Because I agree with the theory (heck we discussed it back on one of your first Silverhand videos) I'll try and play the devil's advocate here and try to find holes in the theory and maybe a counterpoint: - How does Arasaka get the damaged relic if the original stayed with Johnny's body? It's seems a lot more likely that Arasaka reached it first. > We know that his body reached Angel, whether or not it reached her with the engram or not we can't say for sure but if it did then it is entirely possible that Angel made backups. Ultimately somehow going back to Arasaka. - But the relic was a prototype, how did Johnny's engram end up there? >That's a good ass question to which I do not know the answer to because they must have had Johnny's engram already to put it on the relic, possibly after taking a backup from Angel? - Why didn't Johnny go after his things, he could have contacted Kerry, wouldn't the backup also have knowledge of Angel? > Assuming he does live and is somehow with Alt/Angel he would have to lay low, a return to grandiose Night City wouldn't be possible as he was held responsible even amidst the truth about Militech being known. In 2077 people only remember the events as a terrorist bombing the tower. Could he have gotten in contact with Kerry? Probably, but as we know they didn't split as happily as Johnny's memories tell us. We see from Kerry's questline how much their relationship was strained. - The engram is damaged and incomplete, that means the original would be damaged too and couldn't be used to revive Johnny as it's too f'd up. > Perhaps so but the engram is functional enough to act like Johnny and so would Johnny himself, besides it is entirely possible that Arasaka messed with the engram, experimented, changed it and all sorts of things leading up to 2077, Johnny's engram even says that he has been in there for what seems like ages. - But what about Grayson, why would he lie about his grave when he didn't lie about the Porsche, the Malorian and Rogue cooperating with Arasaka? > Well we can catch his lie because he said he was pissing himself getting soulkillered (just like in the flashbacks) but we know that isn't how Johnny died, he was killed during the shootout and then the bomb exploded, I doubt anyone would have paid attention to that. He was already bleeding out and dying why would anyone think the cause was anything other than Smasher's autoshogun barrage. - Then he could have been revived but caught by Smasher later and brought to the same thing, leading to the interrogation scenes with Saburo. > To this I have no answer to, it is entirely a possibility... Can't wait to see what the future holds and I hope our similar theories become a reality, I want more REAL Johnny! Also, LayedBack, I'd like ask you what you think about the biggest mystery in Cyberpunk 2077? The FF06B5 mystery
So you're going to think I'm crazy because I run a Cyberpunk channel and have been a fan since before the release of 2077 but... I only just recently started looking into the FF06B5 mystery. I honestly believe that CDPR has something big planned in relation to this mystery, especially since we now see it in The Witcher 3. I remember Ciri within The Witcher mentioned traveling to different parallel worlds. One of them were heavily hinted at being a Cyberpunk type of world. We know as well that R. Talsorian has worked on a Witcher TTRPG. So more than likely, R Talsorian and CDPR are planning out something that will involve the games series and TTRPGs. I want to look into it more and make some videos on it, never been the smartest ARG guy, but think I might have something to add if I look into it. Thank you as well for the long explanations in relation to my video. The Cyberpunk universe always feeds us enough information to form our own ideas of events and what happens, but not enough to force us into only thinking one possibility and canon. It makes it really fun to run campaigns and create videos on. Thank you for your continued support my friend and welcome to being a member. I hope you continue to enjoy!
good video, as always, man .I think the books heavily imply he is still alive. I think the phantom Liberty DLC we'll make things from the book be Canon to the game .and we'll find out where the second game will be going in the story
The non-canon timeline of Cybergenerations even has a story similar to him being revived over and over by Alt. Wouldn't be surprised that details from that timeline are reused in canon! I hope that DLC hopes to tie up some information and make some major reveals. As always I appreciate you and the support my friend!
@LayedBackGamers no bother man.I think this is the chance to fix the story problems in the game and make it more in line with the other cyberpunk projects
I’m glad you’re watching them! I really appreciate the kind comment, it really does make my day better and makes me happy to be making Cyberpunk content for you all.
I’ve got another pretty crazy idea related to spider Murphy but it probably won’t be it’s own video. Just included in my next Spider videos, since it’s such a Hail Mary idea.
I said all along v survives ( heavily hinted with panam/Judy ending) And returns to night city. I think Johnny gets a body through alt. They both come back maybe through angel/spider Murphy/recluse. And the new guy forgot his name, edris Elba. Is a re download of Adam smasher gone rouge. Also feel David from edge runners could play a part in some way or other as A we don’t know if he is dead and B his death wasn’t confirmed even in 2077. Just theories but imagine it all comes together to be the ultimate ending
Nah, Solomon Reed is much more likely to be Morgan Blackhand's replacement, hand picked and trained by him to be the President's personal bodyguard or enforcer. Why in the hells would Arasaka keep a backup of Smasher?! They probably doubt he can be killed, and if he *was* then he is worth less to them, since he's a failure. They would be more likely to want whoever managed to flatline him lmao
Since I don't know where to get my hands on the lore story a theory angel could be alts daughter which would explain how alt could work out as a engram on her
You don't *need* to use your own children to use the Relic. Saburo only does that because a) it gives him a legitimate way to inherit everything he already owns and controls and b) its the best way to demoralise and destroy anyone who wants to use his system to live forever. Its like with the Trill and their hosts. If *any* body could be a host, and *any* mind could be put into any host, all hell would break loose. By telling them that only their own children are suitable hosts for the transfer, he controls them. And he destroys future generations of people he hates (that's everyone else lol, by the way. If he had his way, he would have nuked NightCity by the time V was just getting the Relic. But he didn't want to hurt Hanako's feelings, thank goodness, or the game would have ended with us being a charred lump hidden in what's left if a pillar in a charred city)
I really appreciate the kind comment and support! I try my best to cover the information needed, and bring some new topics to discussion for the community. I have a lot of fun coming up with these ideas/scenarios that can be very plausible. I hope you continue to enjoy!
Without anders Hellman, mikoshi killed the body but copied the personality. He created the relic which made it possible to insert into another body. Johnny’s engram on the relic was still in the prototype stage. So unless the relic was in the prototype stage since 2023, johnny and alt are both engrams without bodies
Only Arasakas version of Soulkiller would kill the body. Even when Alt created soulkiller for them in 2013, it didn't kill her body because it was her version of it. She would've been able to return to her body if she wasn't disconnected. Arasaka only used their Soulkiller to destroy bodies so that any evidence would be immediately disposed of.
Not true, Alts first versions of soulkiller didn't kill the body, just took the mind. Hellman is kinda dumb lol. He admits to using empty minds with his attempts to transfer engrams, and it never occurred to him that the mind of the host would need a 'jumpstart' to begin the process. I think he was kept somewhat out of the loop with Saburo's own Relic. He admits oto having worked on the mark one Relics (the ones the rich will use to see their loved ones in their heads, the way V does with Johnny) and admits to the problems with the Mrk1 not working as the Saburo Reliquary (what I call the one in V's head) ends up doing. He's never seen the one in V's head, and only has the schematic of it because he stole it from Yorinobu as he fled Arasaka. Mikoshi is just a powerful database and data fortress, where the mark 2.1 version of Soulkiller works out of.
@@LayedBackGamers your video has no legs to stand on when you simply read what the cyberpunk engram is. Sorry I know you “worked hard” but Johnny silverhand wasn’t physically alive between the flashbacks and neither was alt.
@@Mikehuchezhairy What are you talking about? It’s a fact Spider Murphy created the engram of Silverhand while he was dying. Then later on his PRESERVED body arrives to Angel in 2045, who looks identical to Alt. It is completely plausible that she brought Johnny back in his body since it literally had his engram written on the chip inserted into his head by Murphy. You have nothing to add to this conversation clearly. It’s a FACT that at the least Alt is plausibly alive during 2077 under the alias Angel.
The only thing I have to ask how advanced was cloning technology. Because when you super age a clone it doesn't go so well. Take your pick on genetic and psychological defects. Depending on how well preserved the body can last for a successful clone with cyberized implant fusion. Some of what Commander Shepard went through. But from 2023 to 2077 if they manage a clone baby with the personalities intact within 1 to 4 years. They would still be 50 to 53 years old by 2077. Knowing Johnny, he couldn't sit still in the shadows with his lover quietly. I don't see him taking his newfound resurrection and not going to fuck shit up again.
i don't think so cause One: He would have settled his beef with Kerry and judging by the way Kerry meets Johnny in V's body, somehow /knowing/ who's actually playing that guitar and just in denial of it all, saying he waited 50 years for Johnny to pop out of the woodwork somehow. Johnny wouldn't just fuk off and ditch everyone, he did the shit he did cause he loved Alt, she was always the driving force and sticking it to Corps was secondary, perhaps maybe that order flipflops depending on his drugged up state but he did care about the people around him, he just wasn't sure if they cared about him and only saw him as a Fool, he became really paranoid once Arasaka began fucking with Alt, thinking HE was the target of their harassment cause he had a Anti-Hero/Anime Protagonist Complex. Two: even if Johnny somehow was revived by the Soul killer backup and had "Alt" with him, he'd want to get back at Araska for Zeroing him in the first place and who would Johnny try to contact for shit like this? Well looking up Rouge would probably be a priority since she's still a big name and could have dozens of connections. And Three: i dont think he's at the point of memory degradation to forget who his friend's are, It's 'destined' that Silverhand is "reborn" time and time again but "loses a bit of himself" each time he "comes back". He hasn't lost enough himself to simply live out his day's with one of the few people he remembers if we're to believe silverhand and alt lived out their days between 2045-2077, it just doesnt add up that he would just never contact any of his friends ever again during that time since he shouldn't have lost much memory from his "1st new body". Every Fiber (Nano-Fiber?) in Johnny's body would steer him to getting revenge on Arasaka and he isn't exactly "Subtle" with getting information. End of the Day, Phantom Library could really throw in a curve ball with the story, perhaps maybe find out that the "construct" of Silverhand currently in V's mind is a "copy" after maybe arasaka got his "first new body" somehow, maybe they captured the "real Johnny" and that memory we see of him in the room with Soboru could be the "aftermath" of him getting captured, but Copy Johnny had bit's of his memory "Altered" to get more information about Alt or maybe even Morgan Blackhand since "copy Johnny" doesn't remember that Blackhand led the assault team and not him. I'm excited for the DLC~
If Johnny really was cut in half I do not see how he could still be alive. Spider Murphy put the relic in him because she knew he was dying. Did that part just not really happen?
I wonder, if the game is all but just simulation the AI plays through itself? I think this is so, because we have multiple endings. Well, I don't know how they play it out from this point forward, but the game got me into the story. I was doubting the whole story through and through, and what was going on, because we meet so massively controlling devices and AI's, and I'm just more about that it was nice rpg.
I think bringing back Silverhand in Orion is a double-edged sword. CDPR might want to try something very new, not relying on too much from the first game. Granted cloned Johnny wouldn’t be the same as the one we know, but they would be pretty similar. We don’t even know for sure whether V will be back. I’m sure lots of fans would be really happy to have Johnny back, but then it could become something like just fanservice and I think CDPR would want to avoid that.
I know we are talking about Phantom Liberty and Johnny but, is everybody ignoring the fact that the doomsday of the net is going to happen? The Voodoo Boys talk about it, you see mentions of this type of event in the game walking around and of course, the weird face that Netwatch kills for talking too much(loading screen after ending Voodoo Boys main storyline and in some TVs after that) about Alt and the Soulkiller for everyone. And Alt is beyond the blackwall, and she is something special there(an amalgamation of AIs with very impressive capabilities). Even Delamain act weird as hell towards humans. I feel like the next step for this franchise is going towards that situation, humans facing the worst: killer AIs walking by their brain while corpos kill each other in a war(that Arasaka is planing since who knows. The game mentions that rumor, there is even a mission for Padre that you see that and is one of the few gigs that have actual voice acting from V and dialogue options, wich is curious). Maybe we are not seeing the danger that is right in front of us, just like the corpos. I don't think this is just some crazy guys screaming around, i think something big gonna get out of it and maybe link a lot of stuff because of it. Cyberpunk 2077 feels like an intro to a very, very big collection of games. They're setting tons of stuff for the future + the mysteries that the original Cyberpunk franchise already have.
I've been wanting to make a video on this topic. I just have such a catalogue of ideas for videos that require so much scripting and research. I'm glad you brought this up, as I seriously agree that while there will be a Corporate War coming in Orion, that it will share the spotlight alongside a massive NET Rogue AI attack/invasion. The "ALT" AI, clearly desperately wanted access to Mikoshi and Soulkiller, and was only interested in V and Silverhand because they could get the AI in. We know that originally in V3.0 of Cyberpunk, that there was a massive issue with Rogue AI, so I wouldn't doubt the reuse of this topic. It only becomes worse when we realize that ALT, after entering Mikoshi and obtaining Soulkiller, that she goes to merge with Silverhand/V with other Rogue AI. Basically creating one massive network of information and killer viruses. I doubt Netwatch will be able to control the Blackwall much longer in the face of this large of an army...
Lol, I just made a comment on Big Dan Gaming's video about V and Johnny not meeting the "real" Alt. There I said that unless we get evidence of what Alt did after escaping Arasaka's system we can't know if the AI we met was indeed the real Alt or not. Now here you are saying your video about Angel could provide said evidence. All my good karma must finally be paying off. I look forward to that video. And it'd be nova if you were right about meeting them. I'd be one hell of a surreal experience.
I’ve had this video in my mind for awhile now, just wanted to find the right time to create it. Which I believe will be very soon. I saw his video and just think he missed some major details and events. He’s not entirely off to the idea of AI alt not being the real Alt, but he didn’t really get the events leading up to, and the reason correct. Of course in my opinion but I feel there is a much better plot to be pieced together from the table tops in relation. I’m glad you’re looking forward to the video and thank you for the support, I hope you end up enjoying it and that I see you in the comments. I agree as well though, meeting Alt and Silverhand in the flesh would be extremely surreal.
@@LayedBackGamers I agree about Dan. He seems to restrict himself to just what's in the game itself to come up with his theories. Which is fine. He doesn't specialize in Cyberpunk so doing deep dives into the Lore of everything he covers is impractical. But his theories could definitely be expanded upon if he did.
I don’t know if I want the real Johnny to be alive or not. The engram of Johnny isn’t exactly a great person when we first meet him. That’s potentially due to the fact that the real Johnny potentially suffered an early form of cyberpsychosis and blamed much of what he did on his arm. And yeah, that let him “rebel against the system” but I don’t think it would mean he’d want to settle down and live a peaceful life. So if he’s out there, I assume he’s out there causing trouble for someone. I absolutely love the idea that Alt (or at least a good proportion of Alt) may have been able to get back to her old body and live on as Angel, either a name she took because she couldn’t risk calling herself Alt anymore, or a name she took because she wasn’t “fully” Alt anymore. It also means there’s potentially another part of Alt that either got consumed by an AI or joined with the AI to become a different being, part AI and part netrunner, soul-killer-making super genius. But what that AI version of Alt wants with a bunch more engrams… concerns me. In my own person head canon I like the idea that Alt went through a lot to finally be reunited with Johnny’s body and things, but then realised that the chip was damaged by decades of exposure to radiation, and the body was way beyond revival (again due to the radiation and being blown in half). Maybe she just wanted the chance to bury it herself. Maybe she DID want to clone Johnny and install his engram. And maybe she did, and away from that original body and no longer affected by cyberpsychosis maybe there IS a Johnny out there now who’s helping people in smaller ways, like we saw “Johnny” do in the ending where he keeps the body. That said, I think the original body, original engram chip and all his things probably WERE tracked down by Arasaka. Doesn’t mean that Alt was killed though. Maybe Spider was able to tip her off and she fled before they arrived, and the team - led by Grayson or Smasher - retrieved Johnny’s stuff and finally got to interrogate his engram, only to find that it was corrupted by radiation and the fact that he was dying while it was encoded. My person head canon for why Johnny’s memories don’t match up are a combination of corruption, along with cyberpsychosis and ego that made him, in life, feel like a bigger deal than he really was that day. That’s even shown in the 2013 flashback, and he’s called out on it, thinking it was about him when it was very obviously about grabbing Alt. This might mean that the bits of his memory that were corrupted were “filled in” by him. For example: he tried to think about what happened that day. He remembered there was a nuke. He ASSUMED the bomb he was carrying was the nuke. He remembered they hacked the system to release Alt. In reality, Spider did that bit, but he remembered that it happened and ASSUMED he must have been the one to do it. Thus in his memories, we see him doing those things. And then, when he fought Smasher, there’s no way he thought he’d get one-shot by the Borg, so the fight is longer, he escapes… Finally, he knows he’s now an engram. He doesn’t know how that happened. He assumes that they MUST have captured him. And if they captured him, and he’s a big deal, OBVIOUSLY Saburu himself would want to interrogate him personally, RIGHT? So that’s why he remembers that. The truth, at least in my head canon, is that the bits of his memory that were corrupted were just filled in with untruths, similar to how our brains really work in misremembering things. Therefore Johnny isn’t INTENTIONALLY lying with his memories, and it makes no sense Arasaka would change them to make him a bigger part of it than he was, so he REALLY believes that’s what happened. I do absolutely love the idea of V encountering Spider, Angel and maybe even Blackhand in the next game though. I really, really want the hero to be V again, even if it’s a clone of V with the engram installed in it. But if they’re going to revive Johnny, I kinda want it to be the one that we knew (retrieved from beyond the Blackwall) in a clone body, rather than the original. Hell, maybe even the AI version of Alt could pass the updated version of Johnny along to Spider for some reason, thus allowing him to be restored to life and be a playable character in the sequel.
So I might of came across something first things I wanna point out on angels Red wiki it talks about how there’s a wreck bunker under the arasaka towers which would be in the combat zone area now this is my speculation, and from what I put together angel red wiki mentions a wrecked bunker under the ruined Arasaka towers which in the first phantom liberty trailer. It shows a wrecked bunker with dead agents in it. Second, you’re talking about Johnny’s body, Samantha Stevens. And angel had huge role with Johnnys body OK now at the very end of her wiki, it says that there was a bombs casing that split into two opened a cryo- chamber, which was a curtain of blue white ice in the Phantom liberty trailer the first one it also shows a wrecked bunker, and it shows v walking up to a curtain of like a blue wall of white ice when he has a samurai sword in his hand I really believe we might find Johnny’s body in this maybe… because he also says in the beginning of the game that his body has to be out there, which I don’t believe his body was buried at the oil field, because it said that they recovered his body The two girls did. So, if you read the wiki and watch the phantom liberty trailer and read the bottom of it,.. it talks about a bunker that was wrecked, and it talks about a blue like curtain that look like a wall of ice like a cryo-chamber which might have Johnny’s body behind it saying hello my love
Well I appreciate you watching and the supportive comment! I definitely hope this video gets out to more people as I believe it’s important to look into the sourcebooks and get these conversations going. I’d say this possibility is very likely to happen in the next table top or Orion!
Here is something I've been thinking about, what if that's not johnny silverhand at all. What if that's a Rouge AI that was captured by arasaka and transplanted on a chip to be used at a later date for destruction. That could be why he doesn't remember things how they truly were. Talk alt for instance that AI is no longer alt. I think it makes sense
Well he wasn't soulkilled by Arasaka. He was soulkilled by Murphey who used Alts version, which didn't kill the body. Either way he likely did die but got brought in his original body repaired since it was preserved, or a cloned body using the DNA from the preserved body
Nah. First, its a verbal pissing contest about who's had it worse. Then, when Old Johnny works out he's lost, its comedy bickering while Angel and V roll their eyes XD
Then the question remains, the Johnny that died in 2013, which consciousness would he embody? The one rescued by Alt or V's, if any at all? I have some doubts over the Soulkiller thing where the person soulkilled actually remains conscious and aware and doesn't die, while his body does.
Hey, that's what I'm here for! My goal overall is to always bring unique ideas/content to the Cyberpunk community so I can get some discussion going between everyone. That's the fun of this series and making videos! I hope you continue to enjoy.
I always thought it would've been better if they didn't actually kill Johnny but kept him alive/frozen in some way. Cuz it's weird that we never see Johnny's remains
If is possible if it gets added as a dlc if Alr and Johnny do get tracked down and are alive and we get a separate map and a new city or place that would be cool and you explain to the real Johnny what you and his separate engram went through and he denies and then Alt tells him it’s possible and he trusts her so she agrees to help V find a new body but I guess it depends on which ending you get for the game and they should add new game plus
You know what I never understood about cyberpunk story? Saburo made backup engram of himself and somehow stayed alive. How do we even know that soulkiller actually kills you? How can we tell for sure?
Technically soulkiller itself won’t kill the body or person. The version Alt made didn’t destroy the body, but Arasaka altered Soulkiller to destroy the body. In order to get rid of any evidence.
@@LayedBackGamers by the body you mean the original person? In that case I guess anyone that was "killed" by a soulkiller can be still alive since we don't know which version was used.
@@mrtimurer Technically Alts Soulkiller kills the original persons mind and makes it into data for the engram. Normally though that data can be immediately sent back into the original body. Arasaka just destroys the mind AND body so it can’t be transferred back. Sorry if I word anything poorly!
The first version of Soulkiller (1.0) was taken from Alt by the folks she worked for at the time. This version was static, could not move or hunt you. The second (2.0) she was forced to make for Arasaka. This version did not damage the body, but did remove the person from their mind. (We know this because Alt was planning to put herself back into her body, she could not have done that if her brains synapses were fried) Some time after Alt was trapped inside the old Arasaka Towers sub-net, Arasaka modified the Program she made to fry a victim's synapses. This would be Soulkiller mark 2.1 and I expect it was because they did not want any smart Netrunner to be able to use Alt's backdoors and protections, to slip past the Program's ability to store them, and then jump back into their body, the way she had planned to do. The Program Arasaka uses to make 'backup's' of people is likely a modified version of Soulkiller that was created by Hanako Arasaka. She's known to dabble in Netrunning, and its likely she did this at her father's request. It won't kill you, just copy you. This is how Saburo is still around. Its how he hopes to control the rich and powerful people of the world, so he can take over (yes, he's *that* kind of man) Primarily, the Secure your Soul Program was about him becoming his own form of immortal. He seems to hate cyberware. Notice he has none. He's the only person that I've seen use real glasses, not fashion ones. He uses the bare minimum of it, I think. So, he would prefer to transfer himself to a younger body, rather than replace parts of himself with cyberware. After a while, tho, I think he realised he could use the SyS system to control the rich and powerful. Ether by letting them keep 'copies' of loved ones, or by letting them cheat death. Except, he had no way to put people 'back' into new cloned bodies. I think Alt is the only person who knows how to do this, and this is why Saburo is using his Reliquary chip to take over a body, rather than transfer himself to a clone. *He* doesn't know *how* lol. (I bet that smarts his ego lol) I bet that the rich folks who had planned to be transferred via SyS would have to take over someone else, just like he would (does, if you take the Devil ending) And of course, it suits his plan to tell them they can *only* use their own children as hosts. What better way to destroy your opposition, than by both controlling them *and* the generation's that follow? Only the most desperate, wicked or callous of CEOs would take their own children's lives to save their own. And those are the people that might stand in Saburo's way.
@@silverbane8065 okay, that's very interesting. I was wondering about Saburo's implants (or I guess lack thereof) but always just assumed that he either knew something bad about implants (which wouldn't make sense cause everyone in arasaka family besides him have implants) or he was too old to install them.
Before you get into this, I want you to know that CD Projekt’s project Orion is already confirmed to not have V as the main character, CDPR has confirmed that 2077 is gonna be the only game with V
I already for the most part believed V wouldn't be the main character. If anything they'd be a legend figure only spoken about. I haven't seen CDPR confirm this though, where did they do it I haven't seen anything
You actually can see Johnny's grave at the Columbarium next to alt her grave says Never fade Away Then silverhands grave says A son of a bih who never gave up. A legend among legends still dosen't prove to me they are dead well Alt anyways Johnny tho that might actually be his real grave and for all we know the real chip could be in there No one talks about this ever
Gives us a sequel where we can play as Johnny in v body but some v gets a hold of Johnny this having the Ingram of v on Johnny mind some how or where v from the black wall figures out some crazy way to come back to life as a new merc that could run into v old body Johnny has
I'll like that and it could carry the consequences of our choices in 2077. If Johnny is in v's body then we play as Johnny trying to get v back and in a new body. If v lives by taking hanako's deal then angel and Johnny will be hostile to v. If v is in a new body by taking hanako's deal then it will be about trying to break free from them and angel and Johnny will still be hostile. If v lives by raiding arisaka then it's about helping them and getting a new body and Johnny will be very much on v's side. If v lives by getting rogue's help they will be sad there friend died and be positive to v. If v lives with the aldecaldos help the they are Neutral to v. In all options it's live 2077 before the heist just try to get them on board then after a certain point when they help it's about getting what is needed to do it.
So in the Temperance ending as female V, Johnny alludes to not being female for long or not being in this body (I think? 🤔). Do y'all think this means gender reassignment or moving to another body completely via engram?
I think this is a possibility, but I don’t think they would work it into the game, too many new variables and plus a “happy” ending where everyone lives isn’t common to the cyberpunk genre
I agree with this fully choom every aspect to the key but we need a live stream we need to talk about everything past present and future you being a key choom we can unlock these peoples minds to new aspects of cyberpunk....even if its not me someone whos has as much passion and underatanding for the universe...it is no longer just a game lol keep your eyes left chooms
I’m planning out a live stream on a weekend. Just playing some cyberpunk 2077 and getting the chance to talk to everyone. Maybe even going through some sourcebooks and Pondsmiths Reddit. I’m hoping we get to talk!

Keep it true choom!
Is it true that Spider Murphy and Misty voiced by same actress? And I don't think that developers would spend effort on character (Misty) that if it wasn't there it wouldn't make a difference to the storyline. She always struck me as add character, like there is more to her, it would be aligning with what you showed in your video? Oh and name itself Misty - obscured, vague, hidden from view or clear view?? Not a coincidence
How would his engram end up on Arasaka's biochip though? If his body (or rather his torso, cuz his legs were blown off by Smasher's shotgun) was extracted from the collapsed Tower, along with Murphy's Soulkiller chip still in his head, and taken to Angel/Alt in New Mexico, how would his engram eventually end up back with Arasaka? Maybe Angel/Alt lacked the proper technology to put Silverhand back into his body (the body presumably now having robotic legs, like Darth Maul), so she secretly contacted Saka to transfer Johnny's engram onto a new biochip, which Yorinobu could later steal and give back to her? Alt's engram beyond the Blackwall also says that she lacks the proper technology to separate Johnny's and V's psyches, so she needs access to Mikoshi.
Arasaka didn't "flatline" sliverhand it was spider murphy that iced him with soul killer and placed his engram on the bio chip as a last ditch effort to save him
@@ramon4184 that's right. And this is what I had a problem with - how did Johnny's engram end up on a biochip? Your psyche is stuck in Mikoshi when you are getting Soulkilled so there had to be someone else who put his psyche on Arasaka's biochip. Because if Spider put his psyche on the biochip, why would she give the chip to Arasaka?
I’ve got a video going up more in depth within a week on this topic BUT, I believe it’s just a portion of Alt that got sweeped up by Rogue AI. When Spider Murphy was attempting to rescue ALT in 2023, she was forced to seperate Alts data into pieces and spread her across the net since the team got attacked by Smasher. I believe somewhere on the net, a piece of her data got picked up by an AI and the AI used it to not lose their own sanity.
Some of the pieces of Alt that were copied to the net and scattered by Murphy. Think of the game SOMA, you are functionally literally nothing but an accumulation of sensory input, just data. If they could copy that entirely, the copy is just as much you as you are. Which is the "original" ceases to matter, consciousness is at it's core very simple: it's only the *perception* that you are experiencing an unbroken series of events. This is an illusion our minds create to keep us functioning. This expansion and possible sequel could definitely dive into this, the ontology of consciousness.
I havnt watched this yet!! But brendans last joke... “where was Johnny silverhand after the nuclear bomb went off? All over the place!.... literally...” but Brendan ran deep.... this quest always bugged out for me previously but I finally got to complete it today.
I'm a bit confused what you mean choom. The body is actually known to still have a pulse even after Alt was ripped from it. Alt of course was created into an AI which is capable of being placed into a clone body. Per Alts original plan for soulkiller.
I think i might have to drop this all together the game the anime the lore, it’s all fuckinh me up it’s so sad and fucked up to the point where Im losing sleep to figure out if that’s the real silver hand in v’s head or just some soulless engram if that’s the truth then the hells the point of the other 3 endings might as well just go with the panam ending
The answer your looking for can't be answered really. Its more philosophical. If I am copied and put in someone elses head, am I still me? What if the other me is still alive. They are both me, but in all actuality only one of us has done the things I have done, memories are things you know, not things you have done.
After silver hand storms Arasaka office he gets blow away from exploding door by smasher , screen cuts to Johnny running up steps to the choppa its never explained how he recovered from exploding door and escapes the guarded room back to the steps , he is then knocked from choppa where smasher shoots his arm off , He wakes up on trolley looking across to a van then reawakes arm reattached to see a frozen still Vista of night city with mushroom cloud , why reattach limb to some one you're going to kill ! , later in game v can find johnys arm in oil field near oil worker huts all them years and no scavenger salvaged the limb but still managed to put graffiti tags nearby . 2077 has more plot holes than star wars.
Well I wouldn't say plot holes. I actually have a few videos on my channel explaining some of your questions. Also, Silverhands arm wasn't shot off in the flashback. Just disabled from being used so that's why it remains on. Also, I am not sure what you mean by finding Johnnys arm in the oil field. I personally couldn't find anything like that in game or on the internet. The only thing I could find was a glitch where you had his arm in your inventory, which was fixed a long time ago.
@@LayedBackGamers I played game from day 0 ps4 version I think its after the main gig tapeworm that will reveal grave site in later updates the oil pit with his arm sticking out was covered over with boards because players could get stuck , Even a load screen exists showing it , !I think you are able to get and equipt johnnys arm still though I don't believe its a glitch since it is an inventory item that can be equipt .
This video is interesting, but I don’t think it is the case. Alt is mentioned to be dead. If the Alt we saw knew Alt was alive she had no reason to keep it a secret. As for Johnny’s engram, it’s highly likely that his memory is either fractured because of Soulkiller, or that Arasaka has edited it. Plus if Johnny really was alive, he’d want to destroy Arasaka.
The Alt AI doesn’t care about V and Silverhand because she isn’t Alt at all. She’s just some Rogue AI who picked up part of Alt. That’s why she was about to ignore V and Silverhand and move on, but only stayed because they mentioned getting her into Mikoshi. So even if she somehow knew Alt was alive, she wouldn’t care to mention it in the slightest. I do have several videos on Johnnys memories as well. Also Silverhand wasn’t known for just randomly wanting to destroy Arasaka. He attacked the tower twice, both only because of Alt. Sure he spread the anti Corpo message but he’s no Solo, so he never went out of his way. Only when he had to in order to save Alt and when Murphy and Militech could get into the towers to extract Alt from the Arasaka network.
@@LayedBackGamers I don’t know. She did mention that Alt is dead. Why would she lie? Plus, she was reluctant to help V. Plus the AI seemed to have genuine human emotions. She also mentioned that she was a net runner. I believe if Johnny really was out there and had a body, he’d still try to destroy Arasaka. Also, if Arasaka had doubts that Johnny is out there, they would have hunted him down. Also I can’t imagine Alt had the technology to clone herself, hell, Arasaka, the world’s most powerful corporation couldn’t hand V a new body even 64 years after Alt’s supposed death. It is mentioned that Alt didn’t want Johnny to risk his life for her several years later when she revealed she was alive. It seems to me that figuratively, Alt is an entirely different being, hence why she is no more.
As horrible as it sounds I truly think the canon ending of cyberpunk is the ending where you take Hanako Arasaka's deal and Saburo is resurrected in Yorunobu's body
In a gameplay and story sense, the most likely scenarios are the Devil (Saburo in Yorinobus body) or Don't Fear the Reaper (Secret Ending). Seeing as the Devil is the only ending that doesn't need to be unlocked, while DFR is only available after doing everything and befriending Silverhand as well.
While I do think this could be a cool theroy and Silverhand's memories are not to be trusted I do not believe that this is the case but if this could somehow be true it would be very intresting to see play out.
Alt: What you saw was his subjective view of what happened. A warped account of events he locked away in his subconscious and replayed time and again. It bears no resemblance to the truth lnclude the sex in the backstage room that never happened it was all John wishful thinking.
In interesting theory, but there's a lot of holes in it. If you want I can give you a short list, but unless we get confirmation from the writer or someone speaking on their behalf. It's just a theory, game theory. Ok, I'll get my quote.

Something tells me the Silverhand construct was handed over to Arasaka in an edited state in order to cover for Morgan Blackhand's actions during the 2023 AHQ attack.
HUH NOW THAT MAKES TOO MUCH SENSE
That would make so much sense
Not just Blackhand but also Militech
Two Silverhands meeting, and recognising that they become different would be amazingly awesome, and intriguing.
The real Silverhand died like a random NPC. Smasher was fighting Shaitan when Johnny unloaded his Malorian and smg from behind, Smasher just turn around and shot him, splitting him in half. Spider Murphy then soulkilled Johnny.

@@LayedBackGamers exactly!
His voice falls flat for most of the early game and only picks up some steam towards the end, he is also much better in Phantom liberty, I'm certain he had learned a lot as a VA and improved upon it.
@@akatsukicloak you're certainly welcome to your opinion, although I 100% disagree.
@@LayedBackGamers rouge did sell out to arasaka and Adam samsher he'll even after the arasaka bombing they both did jobs together
@Ramon they did heavily imply the possibility that she sold them out. Johnny was petty curious of how she seems to be the only one from that night that's not only alive, but thrived after the attack.
It explains why their date didn't go as planned.
Skye in clouds has Spiders netrunner icon as a stomach tattoo. The other option in clouds is Angel. Might be coincidence, might have some deeper connection.
I had the same thought, I just don’t know enough about the lore as I haven’t been playing that long.
More likely a reused asset, many of the games assets are used over and over. One more extreme example is lizzy wizzu and michiku Arasaka, ever wondered what lizzy wizzy would look like without chrome? She would look like michiku Arasaka, they use the exact same model but with different skin materials
@@EdgeofTimeProductions Agreed. Mr. Blue Eyes has the same face as El Capitan, and how Maiko Maida clones are every 5th person on the street.
@@EdgeofTimeProductions Kinda like Goku and Tien.
This reminds me, after you saved that monk form maelstrom in one of the earlie side-quests, you'll find the two brothers in Japantown at a later date, and are able to have a short conversation with them, and ask them about their opinions on constructs and enlightenment. When you choose to ask johny about his opinion about if he's just a copy, he replies, somewhat angry: 'if the real Johny is dead, thats his problem, not mine'
As far as hints towards your theory go, this would be a pretty good one.
(lasting a couple of months instead of a couple of years)
Really, we are just spit balling till the dlc hits and we get the edgerunners supliment pack with a revised timeline history of events between 2045 and 2076 ( the edgerunners supliment is supposed to catch RED up to then, ready for tabletop players to be able to play in 2077)
I have a feeling atleast some details of CyberGeneration will be reused in Canon. Technically some portions are already! I'm not too sure on the ending portion, I know that currently it is confirmed at least some dialogue options and interactions are changed in the endings. Also, I will definitely be scanning Phantom Liberty for mention of Murphy/Arabella...if she isn't just inserted as a supporting character/netrunner as Recluse.
they said the exact opposite of that
In the end it didn't. It only added one.
Alt snuck into a character from Cyberpunk RED named Angel, who’s an edge runner who lives in New Mexico and hunted down Johnny Silverhand’s body there
It's a nice thought to think johnny and alt made it out, but if the cyberpunk mythos teaches us anything, it's that there are never any happy endings .
The real Johnny Silverhand died like a random npc during Smasher and Shaitan fight. Spider Murphy then soulkill Johnny.
I think there are a lot of people who looking like Johnny all around in night city. Guess Silverhand was pretty busy rock star till he died.
Why haven't you gotten more likes?
Would be interesting to have live JS release a new song (under a new name) and have engram JS hear his own voice on a song he never made...
Haha that’s actually a pretty cool concept. There’d be so many questions popping up. It also kind of reminds me of “20th century boys”
Imagine meeting Johnny in person and having him interact with the engram Johnny beyond the blackwall
Hy i just wanted to let you know that i found your channel a few months ago and started watching your vids on the lore and cyberpunk red and boy i watched every single vid so yeah man keep up the good work your vids are very entertaining and pretty insightful and i just love it
Well I want to say thank you for sticking with my content! I’m glad you can enjoy all my videos as much as I enjoy creating them. I’m appreciative of your support and hope that you continue to enjoy my content!
I feel like this would be too happy of a story for cyberpunk
love your silverhand videos mate! gave alot of new perspective on the silverhand character and how deep it goes
I'm glad you've been enjoying them! While I am busy often within my life and wish I had more time to create content, I try my best to bring something unique with every video and start new discussions. I hope you continue to enjoy and that I continue to get some more time to release videos more often. I look forward to seeing future comments from you!
So glad you made a video about this! I had the same idea
I’m glad I’m not alone in this! I hope you continue to enjoy
It does, just not as well as it did before. Netwatch explained it as a bag over a broken window slowly getting poked with holes.
Thank you for the lore updates 🙏🏾
Thanks for supporting them! I’m happy creating content and glad that I have your support!
Can't wait for the DLC. Will tell us so more about the game and the universe it is set in.
Agreed I to am intrested to see where Phantom Lyberty goes in terms of lore
Ah my favourite theory! Can't wait to see what happens here...
So many little things that have a big effect and large gaps in story that doesn't give us the full scoop. Honestly I'll be very disappointed if by the story the canon is that Arasaka tracked them down and then the rest ends up as we know in 2077.
Because I agree with the theory (heck we discussed it back on one of your first Silverhand videos) I'll try and play the devil's advocate here and try to find holes in the theory and maybe a counterpoint:
- How does Arasaka get the damaged relic if the original stayed with Johnny's body?
I'm so glad you're making these videos
I’m glad you’re watching them! I really appreciate the kind comment, it really does make my day better and makes me happy to be making Cyberpunk content for you all.
The more I watch, the more interesting this gets.
I’ve got another pretty crazy idea related to spider Murphy but it probably won’t be it’s own video. Just included in my next Spider videos, since it’s such a Hail Mary idea.
@@LayedBackGamers I really appreciate you going into this story and finding connections in your videos. I can tell you are working hard.
I said all along v survives ( heavily hinted with panam/Judy ending)
And returns to night city.
David is dead, Adam body bagged him & even if he didn't, his cyberware malfunctioning would flatline him.
Been binging your content, you are a fantastic creator! Keep it up!
Thanks a lot choom the support means a lot to me. I hope you continue to enjoy!
Angela is a crazy Johnny silverhand fan she had a surgically altered don't look like Alt Cunningham.
Why do I get the feeling, that the flashbacks are going to end up being blackhand...
Since I don't know where to get my hands on the lore story a theory angel could be alts daughter which would explain how alt could work out as a engram on her
Try the wiki, or pirate some sourcebooks
@@orbitalbutt6757 don't know what that means but I'll see what I can find thanks
I love how you look both ways and hurry across the road! So immersive :)
I really appreciate the kind comment and support! I try my best to cover the information needed, and bring some new topics to discussion for the community. I have a lot of fun coming up with these ideas/scenarios that can be very plausible. I hope you continue to enjoy!
When the rabbit hole comes knockin you don't disappoint bro, thanks for all the lore
I just want us to be able to download our dead homies from the blackwall into a robot body and just hang out and have fun.
My theory always felt right for some reason, Clone Alt was definitely the one who edited the memories to throw off Arasaka
btw: the ff06B5 easter egg also hints that both murphy and blackhand are around and potentially meddling with the affairs of some shadowy people
I think delamain will either hack mikoshi servers or the black wall and find out information about silver hand and other engrams/AIs
Rather V seek help from MR. Blue eyes, AI is in with hidden forces beyond saka; most probable in reprogramming relic.
This is why i love the 2077 game and the lore around it so much. A lot of mystery and unknowns... so many untold stories to be told... luv this S***
Blackhand is such an interesting wrench in all this.
Loving the content bro
I hope you continue to love everything I have planned for the future. There’s a lot and it really helps having your support!
Honestly I would be very sold on the second if this was a questline but not the main quest.
Honestly, Silverhand and Alt, in a couple gemini bodies with artificial brains would effectively be immortal.
Wasn't Johnny....shot in half with an auto shotty?
I mean, Smasher came back from being a puddle, so I guess it checks out.
And then, when he fought Smasher, there’s no way he thought he’d get one-shot by the Borg, so the fight is longer, he escapes…
Finally, he knows he’s now an engram.
Love the vid! More people need to watch this for sure!
I think the soulkiller Arasaka used on him most likely fried his brain when the engram was made, so... eh.
Well he wasn't soulkilled by Arasaka. He was soulkilled by Murphey who used Alts version, which didn't kill the body. Either way he likely did die but got brought in his original body repaired since it was preserved, or a cloned body using the DNA from the preserved body
when johnny silverhand encounters johnny silverhand (i dont know]
Contest to see who can rock out the hardest?
Awesome video. Keep it up bro
Thanks bro, I really appreciate the support and hope you continue to enjoy.
You really do make some rabbit hole worthy videos. I love this kind of stuff.
Hey, that's what I'm here for! My goal overall is to always bring unique ideas/content to the Cyberpunk community so I can get some discussion going between everyone. That's the fun of this series and making videos! I hope you continue to enjoy.
I do love me some rabbit holes
Man that would make a sick DLC.
I always thought it would've been better if they didn't actually kill Johnny but kept him alive/frozen in some way. Cuz it's weird that we never see Johnny's remains
Got me thinking about Johnny experiencing having an engram of himself in his own head. Johnnyception.
He would constantly have a second voice in his head justifying all his actions. Wait, maybe 3? Another Silverhand and two cyberpsychosis voices...
@@LayedBackGamers that'd be wild but probably annoying, even for the player.
You a real one for this☝🏻
If is possible if it gets added as a dlc if Alr and Johnny do get tracked down and are alive and we get a separate map and a new city or place that would be cool and you explain to the real Johnny what you and his separate engram went through and he denies and then Alt tells him it’s possible and he trusts her so she agrees to help V find a new body but I guess it depends on which ending you get for the game and they should add new game plus
Could V give the body to Johnny and then put V’s engram on a biochip and slotted into Johnny and then do the same process in reverse?
(We know this because Alt was planning to put herself back into her body, she could not have done that if her brains synapses were fried)
Some time after Alt was trapped inside the old Arasaka Towers sub-net, Arasaka modified the Program she made to fry a victim's synapses.
Its how he hopes to control the rich and powerful people of the world, so he can take over (yes, he's *that* kind of man)
Primarily, the Secure your Soul Program was about him becoming his own form of immortal.
(I bet that smarts his ego lol)
I bet that the rich folks who had planned to be transferred via SyS would have to take over someone else, just like he would (does, if you take the Devil ending)
And of course, it suits his plan to tell them they can *only* use their own children as hosts.
@@LayedBackGamers it was from an interview but I’m not sure which one
There would have to be some drawback to the situation. Definitely no skipping through the flower fields for them.
@@LayedBackGamers like i said lmk what day on a weekend gladly im off saturdays after 4 and sunday so would be epic for a choom! And same as myself lol i dont really stay dormant on this content lol were talkin on another page on how its very odd that a lot of these are actually coming into our real lifes lol but with all things being said do enjoy your content very much very easy you follow easy to understand where im telling my fellow chooms from my area to look yah up and follow cause well you explain things very very fluently and explain all things leading to the points where other channels dont (literay they think everything johnny says is gold) i cant wait for the day we get song bird blackhand and the new reeds in the future installments definitely be insane and epic convo material!
Arasaka didn't "flatline" sliverhand it was spider murphy that iced him with soul killer and placed his engram on the bio chip as a last ditch effort to save him
And Adam samsher killed johnny he didn't "die" at the hands of arasaka
@@ramon4184 did you even read my comment? That's what I wrote.
@@Abudzin spider murphy was the one to put his engram on the bio chip. How she managed to have it not entirely sure
If Alt's consciousness is in Angel, who is the AI we meet?
The problem is we physically see Alt dead on a chair.
@@LayedBackGamers I played game from day 0 ps4 version I think its after the main gig tapeworm that will reveal grave site in later updates the oil pit with his arm sticking out was covered over with boards because players could get stuck , Even a load screen exists showing it , !I think you are able to get and equipt johnnys arm still though I don't believe its a glitch since it is an inventory item that can be equipt .
what if they got the singer of Refused to voice the real Johnny Silverhand
Well, Johnny is coming back for the sequel so he had to survive
While I do think this could be a cool theroy and Silverhand's memories are not to be trusted I do not believe that this is the case but if this could somehow be true it would be very intresting to see play out.
Yeah he’s called Keanu and he’s an actor
Alt: What you saw was his subjective view of what happened. A warped account of events he locked away in his subconscious and replayed time and again. It bears no resemblance to the truth lnclude the sex in the backstage room that never happened it was all John wishful thinking.
