Great lesson! Love the intermediate variation and can't wait to try it. Hayes Griffin Guitar Club is going to be amazing! 🤘🤘 Can't wait. Great work as usual man.
65 year old beginner here and this is just what I was looking for. I've been playing blues and rock for years but this is a different ballgame. Your guitar looks and sounds better than anything I've seen. If you ever want to sell it, let me know! Keep it coming brother. I'll be looking for lessons soon.
Wow! 😮 I just started playing bluegrass after years of rock and folk. This is a great lesson with everything laid out for you. Is this a good foundational song to kick off a feel for bluegrass playing? Great content. 👊
Thanks so much for the kind words @blueridge_tones_nc! I think this is a good tune to get the feel for bluegrass fiddle tune playing, but you may want to check out some of the other tunes on my channel. Quick question on the 6th bar of the B section Strum machine has a G D chord instead of just two G G and it clashes, how do people usually play this at Jams 😅 just so I don’t practice this the wrong way
Great lesson, thank you from ireland 🇮🇪
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 😊🙏🏼

Fun Fact: This was outlaw Billy the Kid's favorite song and I read he used to love whistling it!
Never heard that one! Rivals for sharing 🤠🤘

Unfortunately I've seen people play this measure both ways, so just keep your head on a swivel at the jam lol
@@HayesGriffin Thanks , i appreciate the response!
@@kane6529 anytime buddy
You’re a beast dude
Thanks Mike!
Hayes did you go to Berklee
No, but I did grad school in Boston at New England Conservatory and hung with a lot of Berklee folks.
@@HayesGriffin Isn't New England Conservatory the school where all the original members of Lake Street Dive met?
@@michaelmenet2712 yep! They had graduated by the time I showed up, but were very active in the club scene when I was living there. Great folks.
