Few weeks ago I got myself a L320 2012 from an online auction and I paid £2500. Work is still going on and I am trying to do it on the cheap. Never had a Range Rover before and I never boughg from an auction 😁😁
Great video! Are there any other attempts that didn’t work and haven’t been published? We share the same passion of buying great cars for nothing and coping with their problems 👍🏼
I did try to get a cheap eBay camera to work with it but even though wiring colours are simple enough, I couldn't get it to work. I know it can be done on a pre-facelift but not sure why on this one. Never even got any kind of picture so I don't think it's as simple as a PAL/NTSC issue. Stupidly didn't test the camera first though so it may have been duff and I never re-visited it. It's been 9 months almost since I bought the car so I may have to do an update on that too
Pretty sure you just squeeze the little tag and pull it straight off. It certainly doesn't twist as it would break the pins. I think it's harder to release it from its housing from memory. Good luck.
It is, I had a new camera and the mic input is garbage, it seems to be worse on YT than in Final Cut Pro but that's not an excuse. I've bought a standalone Zoom audio recorder now. Apologies.
I know I’m late to the party but great job 👍
You are a magician, love it. Please keep us up to date on this vehicle.
Thank you and as you requested (😉), I've just done an update video on the car after 10 months of ownership.

Hi how does the plug come off the back of the camera?
Any help would be appreciated.

Audio is absolutely horrible

Have you encountered any blue screens from the rear view camera on yours?
