    Hey, sorry that this video was down for a day. I had to mute a few sections on this video due to copyright issues with the background music I used unfortunately
    (10:10 and 26:00 are the two sections I had to mute)
    I hope the instructions are still easy to follow, please let me know if you have any questions or if you experienced any challenges. Your feedback is very important to me!
    I use the video editing app called Splice to make my tutorials and use their free music samples so I’m not really sure how to avoid this in the future.

    For the bigger girls out there.
    I used doble crochet instead of single crochet. I also used triple crochet in the V-form and five chain crochet in the detailed ending.
    I used this pattern for my D-cup, then I just followed BJax's color pattern. It turned out really well.

    Can you please make a video explaining how to make a crochet cup in different sizes including measurements? Your UA-cam tutorials were a wonderful find to me. Can't wait to see more!

      I found an easy technique to get your size everytime. Basically you start with a chain and you make it the lenght of the tip of the nipple to the base of the boob. And then you do rows of sc + 3 at the top like she does. That way no matter what size yarn you're using you'll get an accurate size everytime. Hope that helps ! 😊

    I have tried five other UA-cam tutorials of a bralette all have fit weirdly. I didn’t do the multicolor just did one color but this is the first pattern I’ve done where it fits perfectly and I’m able to tighten it the best! I’m a 32C and the small worked for me- in case anyone is my size and wondering. Thanks for this tutorial!❤

    I am a beginner, and this is my third project. I have learned a lot with my first two tops so this one turned out pretty good. I had to modify the cup size due to my dollar tree yarn and 5 mm hook but it is one of my favorite tops now! Thank you! I used dark purple, mint, dusty pink, terracotta, mustard, bright blue, royal blue, and bright purple and it turned out lovely. I can't wait to follow more of these tutorials! 4.9/5 (-.1 for having to find glue for the ends lol)

    First off, I wanna say how gorgeous this top is and to thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial. ❤️
    I am in the process of making it and I encountered a slight problem in the beginning. When I chain 15 for the large, I crochet down 13, then place 3 in the last stitch meaning I now have 14 on one side, place the stitch marker in the 15th (middle stitch). Now when I finish crocheting down the second side and I end up with 15 on that side. I scrolled through some comments and someone else mentioned this same problem. I just wanted to mention that I fixed this by doing either 14 or 16 with the starting chain and didn’t know if that might be helpful for some. I started with 16 and now have 15 on each side and it seems like it will fit me perfectly. I cant wait to have it finished! I’m making it in a variegated rainbow yarn. 😊

    When doing your picot, it looks nicer and neater if you put 2 sc into the V shape middle, and the 3rd into the space between them and do the picot there...for anyone who might like to try that.

    I’ve never seen a picot stitch done that way. Usually you just slip stitch into the 3rd chain from hook and then single crotch in the next stitch. I like your way better.

    I made your caged halter, and did the xs cup measurements and it fit great. I noticed there isn't an xs cup measurement on this one. Is that because of the smaller hook size? Or could you share what the smaller chain count and row amounts would be? Thank you! You are awesome!

      Since I am making the top for myself, I just compared the size to my bra and adjusted from there. The chain should reach your nip and the rows however much coverage you need.

    Hi @bjax I keep having trouble with my first row after I place the stitch marker and you say to count the stitches on both sides... mine never match. The 2nd side always has less stitches by 3 and I don't know where I'm going wrong. I don't think I'm skipping any stitches. I seem to be doing them right where you are.

    • @taylorwaning4734
      @taylorwaning4734 2 місяці тому

      Hi, idk if I can explain this correctly but I’ll do my best!
      Your last chain gets three stitches, and the second/middle one is going to get your stitch marker and remain the center of your cup(moving the marker every row) when you move onto the other side of your chain after your three, make sure to line up the stitches on the other side. If you put your hook under TWO loops going around the first side, you will only have one piece of yarn to go through on this side, and the reverse is true as well (either is fine)
      For me, I chained 11, which gave me (10sc ⬆️) (sc middle stitch) (10 sc ⬇️)
      My brain kind of groups it like (9) (3) (9) and always mark the middle of your three. Make sure to chain one at the end of your row! I hope this helps you and sorry if it’s over explained 😅

    • @BJax
      @BJax  Рік тому +2

      Ooo idk about a weight 2 yarn. You may need to make a longer foundation chain for the bra cups if so.
      Like if you’re a b-cup I would chain 15 with a weight 2 yarn bc otherwise your bra cups may end up very short and wide.
