Update - 17 hours in and about to start the torso. Had to redo a sleeve. Gonna post here as motivation
Update 2 - it is so gorgeous!!!! Ran out of yarn. Need to order more for the bottom layer. I’m using 50g yarn and used 13 so far.
Update 3 - finished it after 48 hours. I could have done it in less than 44 but I redid the arms 3 times sadly🫠🫠length issues.
Sleeves and the top part done yayy!!

AAAAAAA!!! I JUST FINISHED MY DRESS!!! I'm so in love with this dress. The only thing I didn't do was add the sleeves. I have a wedding to go to and it will be outside. I didn't know if it would be too hot for sleeves. Buuuuut I'll add them at a later date. I also added a few extra rows. I'm wearing tall shoes with this dress and I wanted it to hang down a little more to the floor. I'm going to give it a little blocking and I will be posting pics. Just wanted to say I'm about 2/3rd of the way through my dress (at about the 55 minute mark progress-wise!) and I can't wait to make all of your other patterns. Lo estoy tejiendo con la lana que ella usó (Coboo) en color “mauve” para practicar, pero para la despedida del año lo tejeré en “steel blue”. Ese hilo es hermoso y se siente maravilloso!

I've started on this dress last night! It took me a shamefully long time and MANY rewinds at 0.25 speed to do the DC foundation chain 😂
I have to take a break for a few days for my wrist, but I've made it to the first shoulder of the front panel. (8ish hours with SO many frogged and re-stitched rows, as well as a few15-30 minute breaks)

I crocheted one full scarf in my life as a teenager (granted it was a waffle stitch scarf so that sucker ate 4 massive skeins), but nothing else since. You've inspired me to pick up my old tools and try to make this dress. The learning curve will probably break my mind, but I want to try.

Honestly hun, if you can get familiar with doing SC, DC and TC stitches, you can make this dress.
I provide through instructions for every row, which is ultimately just a combination of those stitches.
I’m a intermediate crocheter, her directions are so clear I think a beginner could give it a good try!

Well, I'm close to the end of the skirt, 2 weeks in now. It's fabulous... excited to start sleeves... I made adjustments here and there to accommodate my larger size but in general stuck to the pattern. I am making it for inventory to sell but it looks so nice on me I'm not sure yet haha. I have enough yarn to make another though, so I thought I'd make one exactly like your recipe next. Can't wait for the finished project 🙌
