IMO, Shehds and other Chinese brands have BETTER small moving heads than the "big name" companies. In this case better means brighter and with more features!

Any chance we could get a series on programming lights with QLC+ along with Reaper? Or something similar? Rookie here trying to get into programming a light show to music, so any and all resources would be fantastic!

90s scanner makes the grandpa Highend Cyberlight so proud of that Chauvet Intimidator 360 😂
Trackspots with LED engines soon? Who knows?! 😂

For spots, it's advantageous to look at spots that have two gobo wheels. ANYTHING that can make open white gobos look better and give you more texture options is a very good option!
Also, IMHO for a band a rotating prism is very important for almost all genres that most bands play!

Most of us mobile DJ, Karaoke, Band guys have stages that are not only small, but there is no way to get overhead trusses setup. If we do, it's a 2 tripod with the flat 10 ft span at best that doesn't look all that good since it clutters up the front. I have 2 of the 6' pedestals. that I can put a single mover on top and usually a single par clamped on the backside. Can you show a recommendation for these kinds of setups where you usually only have 1 hour to setup everything, including lighting and sound?

Put a Stealth Spot or Shehds 100w 6 prism spot on top, and then two pars and a batten in the middle!

@@hiptoalieu par in the middle at the bottom gives a nice effect but, it does nothing to light a band or other area.

I disagree with starting with wash movers, IMHO...most small lighting rigs can't really contain more than a couple of movers, and gobos/prisms always will give you more flexiblelity and offer more dynamic looks WITHOUT haze!
Also, with lots of LED pars and such, it's nice to have more of a hard edged spot!

What about for mobile DJs that don't have haze? Venues always tell me that my fog machine will cause their fire alarms to go off...
I bought the Chauvet Intimidator Trios and they're awesome on sound mode but they don't work well with rekordbox DMX lighting integration. RB lighting can't utilize any of the great features. So what would you recommend for RB DMX lighting for a mobile DJ without haze?
