Beauty across genres and platforms. You are an underrated master. If you are ever in the UK (after this blasted quarantine) and it's in your heart to, arrange a concert. My friends, family and I would travel to see you perform.
Great performance. Also I can understand why he was obsessed with dies irae, Mozart’s requiem were one of the first pieces that I enjoy and conscientiously listened to
That C with the right hand at 5:12 which begins that section, should that not be a B instead? Does your book actually have C instead of B? I'm studying this piece right now, so just curious :)
This is very nice! What do you think of Scriabin? He is the melodic heir of Chopin in my opinion. I woud love to hear your thoughts and even more so your interpretation of Scriabin's piano music.
I'm not too sure about Scriabin. In his earlier period he was certainly Chopinesque, but he evolved drastically into a more atonal style, which isn't exactly my taste.
May I say, in tognue-tainted terms, his arms are of archers: "ignore the arrows." Must I confess it's the air we breathe. Must I spill my shame? Ever they dance with direction and have heaven's head!
Very nice job! I listened to many of your peformances: many compliments. I have a question for you about Garritan CFX: I tried your same settings you posted on Pianoworld, yet I am still gettin too much noise from the piano sound when pressing the keys at soft or medium velocity (kind of "PFFFFHH" noise, not rare in audio sampling TBH). Carefully listening to your recordings, I'd swear the noise is much less: did you maybe filtered some of the noise? Do you use EQ externally? I have the CFX LITE, but I don't think this changes much, cause you switched off the "closed" and "ambient" mic in the VST, if I am not wrong. TIA !
@@rach3master Hi, thanks for answering. You said something interesting: I will try to do some test with other laptops. Yet, the noise I hear seems to be something "inside" the samples more than generated by PC... in fact it's not kind of crack-pops, but ambience noise.... like the blow got by microphones... but I surely will do more tests. Thanks a lot
@@HOLLBIE thanks but no, even with pedal noise and saturation knobs set to zero I can hear the PFFFH noise: it's probably an ambience noise sampled with the sound itself, that some people may not notice, depending on the used combination with dynamics/headphones sensitivity/listening volume.
You play with a depth and sincerity unknown to the majority of pianists, even among the "pros"... Very well done.
A pro, obviously.
@MonogramistaML ?
3:23 epic left hand :)
Love finding these hidden gems of performances. There is always something new in the world of piano. The playing on this channel is golden.
Is that a Kawai Novus nv10 very clean recording...wow... Beautiful..
This is fucking awesome. More Rach videos please!
Hey.buddy have some respect quit using obscene language refrain from pouring dirt into this good side of.u tube
@@sirfermainclancharlie1018 yes, your highness *proceeds to kiss your shoes up to crotch*
Excellent!! And this piano has a marvelous sound!!!
Any chance you'll be doing more Rachmaninov? I like Op.39 No.3 and 4 too!
It's very likely

very beautifully played, yours is now my favourite rendition of this piece
brilliant.I see Rachmaninoff at the Piano. Eyes wide open.
wow, really fantastic performance & interpretation. Rach would be proud, well done :)
Great piano playing you let the piano sing...

i love your vids. keep up the good work!!!
Amazing job!
Touching! :)
Brilliant 👏 bravo
Great, how you played this piece. I might also play this soon. You have a very nice sounding piano btw.
You are a hero!

I believe the B is a misprint. I've never heard anyone play anything other than C.
@@rach3master Yeah I think you're right.. I have actually heard some recordings with a B there, but I think C sounds more 'natural' to the piece.
Absolutely serene and tranquil ... Is this played on Yamaha AvantGrand N1x? Brilliant interpretation and and well played ...
fantastic!!!!! and the sounds fantastic too!! what are you most favorite keyboard for mechanics?
what do you think of Kawai & Yamaha key touch? wich one more realistic and comfort to play
I think the Kawai is better
Can you share your file with your settings? The aria file. Thanks

Como descender al vacío de la oscuridad sin descender en él.
lovely, you like rachmaninoff very much, like me, could you learn the Op 33 no 3 etude? one of the best.
I learned that piece at the same time as this one. I'll consider uploading it.
thanks mate.
Does the audio transmit from the Vst back to your piano speakers by input jacks in the piano, or does the usb connection carry back audio data?
You have gold hands.......
Which version of CFX Concert Grand and Aria engine are you using?

I haven't done any post-processing after I hit record. I use both the close and ambient mics. Your computer setup may be lacking in some ways.

@@r.a.5672 It may sound obvious but that sounds like the Pedal Noise Knob or the Saturation Knob with high values applied.

Buy the full garritan and try player position
Are you Valentina Lisitsa?
I really want to see your overall performance.I'd love to see you play on the piano, not the electric piano.
Sure sounds like I imagine the Russian seas feel
