Hi guys, apologise for the lack of transparency regarding why we haven’t been posting, we've been on a short holiday this past week, but we are back now. Also we’ll be switching to 3 episodes per week from now on so expect 2 episodes of TWD this Saturday & Sunday.
I 100% stand on what I said btw I hate everything about the Governor but what he done in this episode prior to the ending scene was not as bad as most make out to be, of course what he does in later episodes shows that he never had the right intentions but I did not know that at the time

Second, Rick only chased Andrew outside and shut the door behind him. Andrew's fate was he didn't try hard enough to get away from the Walkers. Rick gave them all every chance to survive, but they f'd up...that's on them, can't blame Rick. The Governor purposely killed men because he didn't want anyone taking his chair as the leader, plus he wanted those weapons, but mostly he don't want anyone tellin' him what to do. You so crazy!!
Not defending Aj but the prisoner at first didn’t make a full swing though. He thought about it and wound the bat back but he didn’t swing at him and held it back. He was just terrified considering he just axed his fellow prisoner in the head. Must’ve thought Rick was about to kill them all.
The difference: Rick went into the prison, he helped secure a block for the guys that were in there, he didn't just take their food, he shared it in return for clearing the block, he was willing to TRY to live along side each other until those two guys tried to kill him. The Governor... he just went and killed these men for their supplies, he didn't try to bring them in or help them in any way.
The governor killed those soldiers because they were strong and a threat to him. Rick killed the guy in the prison because he tried to kill Rick! Not even slightly the same thing sorry AJ 😂🤷🏽♀️

David Morrissey’s American accent always catches me off guard when I haven’t heard it in a while it’s pretty cool to know that he’s British in real life and The Governor is a great character.
The problem with Andrea is she wants power.. but she feels she can only achieve it by partnering with an “alpha” man… Where Michonne sits within her own power … This is why she isn’t infatuated with the Governor and his “community” …. Andrea wants to be “queen of the castle”… Michonne isn’t going to trust without vetting.
Rick and Governor are nothing alike here… Rick gave those guys at the prison a chance. Rick is always that “we can work something out” kinda guy. He did the same with Shane. But, he had no option but to kill those prisoners and Shane…

The Governor wants control of people as you said and thus he doesnt believe it would be advantageous to have those military soldiers by his side since they could easily overthrow him so you've basically contradicted yourself. However, you're right that the Governors actions arent comparable to Ricks.
I mean they were trained by the Army at least 15 guys with high powered rifles they would of took over Woodbury as soon as they figured out what was going on and how the Governor really moves.
If the Governor brought the army men in they would see their Lieutenant as their commanding officer It would create a different power/authority structure and The Governor let that into Woodbury he doesn’t do that enough of his supporters would stay loyal vs how many would follow the Lieutenant’s lead if they came into conflict.
Rick would’ve killed the othe two prisoners too if the blonde guy hadn’t started crying, and Rick took pity on them. AJ is right, the short guy didn’t really do anything wrong, just ran off when he saw Rick kill his friend. Just started watching your Walking Dead reactions and I gotta say there must be something wrong with AJ. For three seasons he has consistently favorited the “bad” guys. I can tell he would be henchman number 3 for any bad guy in a shit situation. His commentary gets frequent side eyes. Hard to listen to.
