Another option for belt storage is to *loosely* roll the belt and put it in a drawer. This trains the belt to curve slightly, which makes the loose-end of the belt stick to my hip instead of sticking awkwardly out to the side.
Obviously, this isn't for reversible belts, but single-sided leather belts can benefit from this.
Love your videos, Aaron! Now, i was wondering. Could you possibly make a video on wearing more of a dress, loafer type shoe or style boot, (slip on ofcourse) with jeans? I wondered what your thoughts were on this. I'm not the fondest of sneakers or regular casual shoes with jeans. I am very picky. I can never find the correct shoe!

seen a lot of video. yours are the best. problem-my sons 5th grade culmination i baught black 3 piece suit. solid red white collar and cuff contrast comes with tie and matching hankie red and whit design. did i mess him up. if not what color socks do i get. what color belt do i get. and what color shoes and can they be shinny. help

check out Express extra-slim shirt + where it with plat font short. It's one of my favorite style.
I'm 5.7 and it looks better on me with a belt. It all depends on your shoe not your belt. Don't wear contrast color shoes with your pant. Try to wear cloth as it makes your body become a inverse triangle you will look higher. I believe Alpha talked about it already.

Hermes buckle is the best looking in my opinion! BTW in my opinion if you wear black leather belt and black leather shoes, it's also pretty cool to wear black leather watch. Watch, shoes and belt must be the same color.

I'm short.. 5'6.... many years ago I read in GQ that short men 5'8 and below should not wear belts because it cuts them in half and makes them look shorter. What do you think? I have not wore a belt in years and I agree with GQ.

when you have colorful shoes like that, in a sense, you don't really need to abide by any rules, since you're getting something different. idk if it'd look n ice, but im sure there are actuall blue suede belts. you might wanna check online.
One thing which annoys me is that I wear long sleeve Ts and they always cover my belt. I've seen some people sort of half tuck in their Ts to show off their belt, but I don't know if that's really an acceptable solution?

not if the brand is too Big, the brands you named all have belts made with a hugeeee buckle showing an overly big Brand name, but they also all have more classic belts made for more formal events. Big brand name showing = casual,
so find an Gucci, Louis V, or mr. salvatore belts that dont have a huge brand buckle showing if you need it for dressier events.

My husband and I attend an all white party (clothing not the people) every summer in the Hamptons In past years my husband has worn cream and some very light tan pants. This year I wanted him to go in an all white suit. I noticed you said that white dress shoes are horrible. What would you recommend he wear for shoes with a white suit? Would very light brown be strange? Any suggestions would be helpful.
