- In 2013, X Overland first reached the shores of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Seven years later, Clay and the team completed their adventure of overlanding the Pan-American Highway by arriving at the tip of South America.
Now, having made it to the highest point in Northern Europe, the team is pushing as hard as they can to reach Nordkapp-the absolute farthest you can drive a vehicle in the Northern Hemisphere.
There is a long way to go to reach Norway’s North Cape, and there is a lot to see and experience along the way.
Storms are brewing, and it is up to lead navigator, Kurt Williams, to make sure the team doesn’t fall short of their goal.

This video is from Scandinavia ....not from some dry arid desert in Arizona or Utah. Hence they can not drive out into the terrain / outside the road ....because it will damage the nature .....and it is illegal.
It brings back such great memories for us, when we did it in the winter of 2019. We got to Hammerfest. North capp was closed due to a snow blizzard. Love Rolanda Traveller's Nest Overland- NZ

Really interesting to see your take on Norway during the summer of 2022. It truly was a very wet season 😅 Fun to realise you faced some very similar challenges in that regard. Looking forward to see where else this series will take us, especially in preparation of our own Iceland summer trip this year. Oh, and amazing production quality. Watching the beginning of this series and no this one. I really would love for you guys to do a gear video showing bags, packs, clothing brands and models, other gear in the trucks that doesn’t get much screen time. How do you guys handle laundry. I want to learn the guts of your operation. Love what your guys do. Bought 4Runner and I’m planning some future adventures.
We are using Vertx for clothes and bags and have been loving them. We use surfire for edc lights.

Kinda fun seeing them talking about it being a long drive. Especially since you can get half the way from Oslo to Nordkapp through Sweden in 12 hours. Thats if you just do it as a transport route. Nice to see them enjoy the drive though.
I love your videos! I’ve been watching since the South America trip. Really appreciate the quality. One opinion I have is this: I really enjoy the story telling, beautiful sights and the facts about the places. I find myself skipping over the parts of the random chit chat and the interviews of the crew’s opinions on things. Maybe others like it but things that progress the “story” is what I really enjoy.

Glad you made it to the NOrth Cape. I've been on quite a few roadtrips up north, but went to North Cape only once in February 2022. It was quite an experience to go there with a SUV with rooftop tent in those winter wonditions
