- Hey guys. Today I am pumped to be sharing this video because my 1967 Camaro is done! Huge shout out to Gordon Custom Fab for giving me a hand with it. Seriously turned out incredible and has been my dream my whole life to own a 1st gen Camaro. I know alot of people are crazy for the '69 but something about the '67 & '68 has always spoke to me. Bro, watching this video was awesome because I did the exact same thing! I have 67 I restored and has a 427. Had a little rust and I patched it up and gutted the interior. Put a TMI package in it and it’s a black on black scheme. I have pics and videos just like this where I took up into a scenic canyon area in Nevada. Great to see a fellow enthusiast and describe all you went through and the experience of making a dream come true. The greatest car to own! Glad I came across your channel!

Nice man. I love old-school myself. Thanks to my father I've got a 67 Camaro also. I built it to be reliable, do love the power steering though, didn't have it for 20 years but glad I got it now. Fuckin 5 speed is nice too. All I need now is a stereo and my dogs can have the back seat.

Badass man 💪 I put a new stereo in mine but am still not happy with the way it sounds. The cabs in these cars are so small I think it has something to do with it. Probably could dynomat as well but that would add alot of weight.

I bought a 67 in 73 in highschool it had 89,000 in 73 it now has 110,000 and not out of the garage for 30 years.
I paid 775.00 Cash, 73 I bought a 65 convertible GT mustang with the 289 rebuild but not in the car , running and driving in a week for 200.00 cash.
The end of 73 I bought a 71 AMX with a 401 and torkflight auto for 1,500.00 cash and did it hall ass , Camaro is the only one that I have kept.

Thumbs up but should have blacked the rear bumper or kept the tail lights and door handles chrome. But the front looks great all black. Another thing you could do is upgrade the rims to a black chrome. Or since you have a super shiny engine, go with more exterior chrome to break up all the black.

I used to love all sorts of muscle cars(73 SD455 Trans Am my fave), all i could afford was an 89 Trans Am back in high school, but i stopped caring about appearances and never really knew too much about the inner working of cars to begin with. Now that i'm older and motivated to care about my appearance again, i'm bringing out the leather jackets and the boots and getting more and more tattoos, so i want a car that suits me and speaks to who i am, but would that make me a poser? I don't know anything about working on a car. Maybe a Jeep?

Thanks man and nope I looked into that but haven’t been wanting to spend the cash yet to go that route. Starting with the rear axle and have one being built right now by American Powertain with 3.55s

I’m looking to do a disc brake swap on the rear of my 67 but it’s gonna push the wheels out 1-3/8”
I see your tires may be sticking out of the wheel wells,wondering if you have any problems with rubbing

Sorry for thew late response. You nailed it 275's on the rear and I get a little rubbing on big bumps but the only time I ever notice it is if someone is in the car with me. Congrats on your ride too!
