Riley and Jason headed out for a little exploring. On the first try the Bitubo insert in Riley's forks fails and he heads home. On the second outing the two riders come across a small motocross track and after a few laps are chased away by an angry man in a housecoat riding a child's ATV.

It was. We didn't know much about riding but had fun every time we went out.

I can’t remember which video it was in but something you said really resonated with me. You passed people walking in the woods and wondered if they thought the motorcycles were cool or if they were annoyed from the bikes’ noise and disturbing the wildlife. I often think about this and struggle with the dilemma that dual sports are a great way to see nature but they’re not great for nature. If you have arrived at a solution to this dilemma I’d love to hear it! Haha

During COVID the Players did a lot of remote camping. It reminded of an article that I read years ago. Without motorized vehicles how much country would anyone really see? Once you get past how much your average day hiker is willing do there would be no one out there. Given the scale of Canada everybody would be within 20 kms of a main road. I think the key is to get past that area and then you meet people in Jeeps and ATVs and mountain bikes and the occasional hiker who seems ok with us being there. It is that initial interface area that is trouble.

Yay! I know it must have been a hassle, but nevertheless, it's great to get a reminder of a lost old another great shootout from you guys. So all in all I'm glad you reuploaded it!

Hi guys! Thanks for all the great videos. I also have an 800gs , never taken it off the road (i ride a husky fe350 offroad) but am planning tomtake the big bike out. I’ve read a bunch of stories about guys dropping their 800gs and the passenger pegs taking the hit an tweaking the subframe. Obviously not a problem on dirt but maybe on rocks. Since the pegs cant be taken off, that seems like a problem. Is that something you’ve encountered or heard about? Cheers

Seven F800s in our group over the years and no issues ever after a thousand drops. Leave side racks on if you want to protect the bodywork. Not saying it isn’t possible but not an “issue”.

hey just want to know what other suspension upgrade did you do? and also, what was the justification for those mods?

The F800 had heavier springs in front and that was it. Suspension worked ok for me. I kept the speed down of if I felt the suspension getting overwhelmed.

@@AwesomePlayers did you have load in the back often when off roading? Like boxes or luggages etc.

@@Kaizi1005 I had a case with tools some little side bags. I should have put a heavier spring in the rear I just never did it.

    What tires are you running?

On the F800 I liked D606 in front and Mitas E09 Dakar in back. D908 is also nice in back on big bikes.
