- Another classic re-upload. Chris is riding his first love - the 1150GS. I'm on my first BMW the F800GS. Chris and I are the only two Players to head out for a Sunday morning ride. Nothing too crazy just some decent roads and a little mud.

Nice, i actually missed this one before so was good to see it now for the first time 👍🏍
Glad you enjoyed it Few more old ones coming up over the next few weeks.
Best content out there. Unless you have multiple bikes you always have to make a compromise I’d rather be comfortable on the highway where I do 70% of my riding and suck it up through the dirt and bring a lot of friends to lift my Super Tenere big pig up.
Exactly!
Nice to see you in the dirt again👍
2011
Thanks 👍 This was an old video but we are still out there.
That was fun guys
Thanks Ian. Cheers.
Great playground for the big bikes
Very true. Sometimes I still miss my 800.
Great video and comments.
"Après-vous..." - Appreciate your good french as well ;-)
I have exactly the same R1150GS. And I felt exhausted after you moved it off the mud... Light is right. And the 1150 is a bit wrong on that point.
By the way, which brand of top cylinder protection does the 1150GS have ? They look perfect !
Thank you .
I think they were Hepko Becker.
Perfect gravel roads 🇳🇴☕
Quebec has a million kms of these.
The middle ground is pretty good. Decent on the road ( mostly under 75 mph) and pretty good off-road. DR650.
690 / 701 I think are kings of the middle. Low weight, tons of power, good suspension right out of the box.
Taping is pinging from all the engine breaking
Where was this that u guys rode? Thanks for the great content ad always.
I believe that up around Chertsey Quebec.
@@AwesomePlayers thank you for that information. I appreciate it alot
Lol, you returned from whence you came. . ."did we just do a circle?". . . too funny!
I can't beleievce ytou two didn't drag race. . . I'd put my money on the 800, but bet it would be a good race.
800 would dust it for sure.
I still have a Players sticker on my bike 11 years later.
Nice to hear from you Bill.
I prefer to be boring in the road but enjoy in dirt do I use light trail bike wr250r more than my GS...
Always nice to have multiple bikes. 701 for me now is kind of the middle ground.
@@AwesomePlayers Seriously though. That F800GS (early models) are a mere 4 pounds heavier than the Yamaha. That's like a two week diet cutting down on sugar. I never rode the T700 but from the bare numbers I don't see myself selling my 2008 BMW.
Ride on
Will do!
About falling tree l always carry a saw and some time avoid me to come back
We look like lumberjacks now we carry so many saws. I just got a bigger one for Christmas.
GSはいいバイクだね。
本当に素晴らしいバイクだ!
Having seen Chris in the newer episodes?
“Looking like a tool” LOL!!!
Chris has been busy with life! Young kids, renovations, job... the full deal.
@@AwesomePlayers I feel his pain.
teletubbies look. bwahahaha MY SIDES
I like the minimalist user name.
@@AwesomePlayers You used to be able to have it be actually nothing.
you are a bit masochist do drive with this heavy bikes in the deep woods. one or to lifts (if you dont get hurt on the fall) and you are kind of out of power already. but if you have "fun" doing it. but at least the way to the woods on the pavement were alright to drive. i am realy now wanting to come to canada, don´t know if i have to go to the embassy in munich or just do it online (online gets on my nervs) or just travel there and see how long i am allowed to stay. i think i can stay 6 month and a am allowed to purchase real estate without any citizienship or visa or whatever. so, thems doable.
Hi Markus. Lots to do and see here in Canada. Hopefully you will visit one day.
