I had recently found parkway drive, started with glitch, and I branched out from there and I really like a lot of parkway drives songs new and old all the way back to killing with a smile, they have great songs from every album they have, everyone can hate on pwd for not being the same parkway drive they were 15 years ago. I can find joy in listening to their new and old stuff while pwd likes what they are putting out and the thing is with pwd that they can easily replicate these new songs live because they are made so well to appeal to concerts and arenas. Great song nonetheless, i have nothing except respect for parkway drive with how much hate they get. Awesome review though man!
Dude I've literally made my way through half the channel since subscribing tonight. Love the sincerity. PWD seem to have attracted so much hate from the fucking self entitled "fans" That feel they're owed the same parkway from 15 years ago or whatever. They paved the way. This band headlined pretty much every European festival in 2019 and basically said they weren't making money from it as they were pumping into the stage show to give the fans the experience. Pre darker still the band collectively went into therapy and the documentary about it is on UA-cam somewhere. I've nothing but admiration for these dudes. All genuine and fucking quality musicians
I personally don’t understand the people that say they suck now as well, there are a few songs that are not that good, but every album has those songs, it’s no excuse to say that they are terrible now. I can’t believe that no matter how much pwd changes their sound they still produce banger after banger truly incredible and hopefully people stop hating on them for the changes and just except how good they are.
hej man, just stumbled across your reactions. love the attitude regarding the whining mimis and the musical change pwd is going through since the beginning. my favourite album is deep blue aswell. might be because it came out shortly i discovered pwd for me…who knows. the newer ones need to grow a little bit on me but watching your enthusiasm clearly helps. keep up the stance

Got into PWD not long after Horizons came out, I was in high school. My mates dragged me to a show at the local basketball centre and I walked out of that show a fan, cos holy shit they were good live. It's crazy now to see the success they've had and gone on to prove themselves to be a world class band.
I got into parkway drive when my 20 year old friend passed away and was his favorite band and I never heard of them . Then after he died I started listening to them and they are one of my top favorite bands ! So good 🤘🤘
Coming from someone album review who seemed to be getting off on saying how bad this album is. I don't think this is their best album but it isn't the worse for me. Ground Zero, Imperial Heretic and Darker still are top draw for me. Saw them live in Manchester, absolutely class! Glad to see there is also other people enjoying it and not moaning they aren't doing deep blue still.
