The German Shepherd in this video is Kara.
This is how I trained our dog.
This type of dog training is what has worked for my dogs past and present.
Seek a professional dog trainer if you wish. I am just sharing what has worked for me.
Work continues... she gets uncomfortable after 7-10 min and tries to take it off. We are still working on getting her used to it.
Our dog will adapt this doggles eventually.
Thank you for viewing! I hope you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much Pavel! She is going tactical! lol
WHAT A GOOD GIRL!! 😭😭💕
What a great video if just for the chemistry .
it ended up working out great we did not have to train him at all. He loves keeping them on in my Jeep going down the road it really helps when he sticks his head out because I have no doors or top on so it's very windy. even when we go in stores like home Depot he keeps them on I guess because it's bigger than sunglasses and he can see very good like they're not even on he loves them I plan on getting another pair so I don't have to change back and forth from the smoked lens when it's Sunday in the evening when the sun goes down to the clear
this is soo cool, thank you for sharing this!!!
Thank you very much for watching and commenting! We do appreciate it!
LOL :P Kara's face at the start looked like she was asking you, "Uhm... should I eat it or what?" XD
Thanks Commander JNM! She is good... always asking permission.
This is so cool! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much Haki! Thanks for the comment Kelsey!

Thank you Crystal!
Kara Zor-El Batilo a smart German Shepherd you're welcome:)
Great vid
Oh so cool, I was actually getting some Doggles for Sasha. Those ones look huge though! She was really good with them!
I want to see a vid when you get it! Thank you for the feedback!
They need to be big to not block out there vision
@@owenbell2572 haha I know that now thank you! I have two pairs now😁
@@HuskyGamez hell yea dude I just picked mine up today!! Surprisingly didn't need any training my border collie/ husky mix just let me put them on and wore them all the rest of the day ,didn't even phase him. I'm super lucky and super excited ahhaha
@@owenbell2572 Thats awesome! My boy Flash got used to them right away too, I still slowly trained him with them just in case but he honestly doesn't mind at all😅. Little dude always hurts himself when be runs around in the woods so he needed these, they even helped with his allergies too! No more itchy eyes or boogers, not to mention he looks pretty rad in them😆
Super helpful! Thanks
Doggie Goggles!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaasssss :)
Cool googles :-)
Thank you Chadde!
Great! She is adorable...so size L is for gsds? Mine is a female too 39 kgs and 7 years old and she has pannus i want these googles too!
my dog let me fit the googles without problem and keep them in "static" mode in the house or the garden; but as soon as we start the walk, he tries to remove them by laying down and scraping his head on the ground, and so, every ten yards; but he needs to wear them because he got a keratitis; I don't know what to do; any tip will be welcome! thanks! (Eric from France)
I just put them on my Australian shepherd went to the beach kept him active and eventually he just got used to wearing them.
Really tempted to get some for my 2yo gsd service dog.
+Twizler Skunk It is really cool looking! If price... sign up newsletter (like I did).. they have sale - discount emails. I waited patiently and finally saw it on sale. Thanks for watching and feedback
so cuteeeeeee
THANK YOU ...
How old was she when this was shot ?
She was 3 years old... she is 5 years old now.
A good job! it is amazing that Kara accepts the glasses. But what does Kara need glasses for?
Thank you Richard! I am not sure yet... vanity - honestly. lol! But skydiving is on our bucket list. So we may jump off a plane... maybe take Kara. Or other activities that involves "dusty" situation-- Desert - Dune Buggy. Thanks again
They're used for pannus, which can cause GSDs and other breeds to go blind. I just got a pair, since I live at 8,000 ft altitude, and the USB rays are starting to affect my GSDs eyes. Great training vid!
Looking shweet! I checked out their website and they have a pretty decent size range too. You can get Rex Specs for a chihuahua! O_0
My dog doesn't like treats or food that much and skitish so it going to be hard to train.
Kara looks even cuter in those goggles.
Thank you Nathan!
I can't keep my dog from taking them off after 10 min max -_- will succccccceeeeeeed
I am with you... it stays on and as long as I give treats (interval)... I got up to 20 min between treats...lol. Tried to wean from treats... but Kara prefers it off... I will keep on it though!
@@KaraGermanShepherdAdventure any update on Kara/how long it took for her to keep them on longer than 20 minutes? I'm currently training my 1 year old Shiba
@@WAFFLES2381 what’s the update on your training?
These will be great if I can get my GSD to wear in the car with her head out the window
You went way overboard with the positive training, EVERYONE THIS IS A LONG WAY AROUND IT, just stick them on your dogs face, mark and reward, only needed a two min episode really
I don't know if I want to take that many days with my dogs. i might just go ahead put them on him right before we get in my jeep. I have the top and doors off but have after market tube doors on so he cant just jump out. and I have one of those straps hooked to his collar and the seat belt so he only has about 2 feet he can move that way if i hit the brakes fast like before when someone pulled out in front of me he wont fall on the floor. If he doesn't like the goggles at first then i will start with just the frames. i will use the clear lens first for sure
I know what you mean, Patience, trust me is all worth it to do it this way they call it Conditioning, I did the same when I muzzle train my Dobbie and is the best results other wise he may get traumatized.
Good luck!!!
Not about you dude….
Give your dog as much time as he or she needs. Your excitement doesn’t trump your dogs comfort and confidence wearing something new.
Dogs don't need these
My dog does, not for aesthetics but because he has a genetic disease that’s called chronic superficial keratitis and also glaucoma, so his eyes are pretty f-ed and he can’t receive UV rays and where I live it’s pretty high and also he loves to be on the sun so we had to buy some glasses so he can be in the sun protected
