Hey guys, today on my channel we are reacting to some people getting OWNED by science. I love science so much, it explains a lot of things, not everything but it explains a lot. Today's video might upset some people down in the comments, but that's okay! Because facts don't care about your feelings!

"The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing" ~ Socrates.
One of my 2 favorite quotes of all times. The other one is:

I don’t think I’m at the part of this video you’re referring to, but I just wanted to say kudos for being an engineer and continuing to learn. Also kudos for being intelligent enough to recognise that there are plenty of things you don’t understand haha 🙌
The reason I got excited by your comment is because my Dad was also an (electrical) engineer and when he was just 26, played an integral role in the purchase, installation, training and use of the first digital computer in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. (For those who want to google for facts, my Dad’s name is Richard Kelly and the computer was installed at UQ aka University of Queensland. My Dad also used to tell me throughout the 90’s when I was a kid that, “one day computers will be small enough to hold in your hand” and I was just like, “no wayyyy!” *ahem* (I am clearly NOT great at engineering or technology 😂) But I just thought I’d let everyone know that a couple of decades ago, Dad kind of ‘gave up’ learning about all the new technology that was evolving. Yes, he predicted smart phones, the internet, debit cards, technology playing an ESSENTIAL role in the field of medicine, self-driving cars, etc. But he actually has NO IDEA how to use even the most BASIC mobile phone (think back to something like the good old Nokia 3315 😜), he still uses a ‘dongle’ to access the internet so he can read his emails and he has no freaking clue how to access or use wifi, Bluetooth or any form of social media (to be fair, my Dad IS in his mid 80’s now - so I guess not long after he retired he just kinda got tired of learning about the many technological developments that have occurred? 🤷‍♀️😂
Just some random info for anyone interested lol...

It doesn't matter if the fluids have Vit C or not.

Cole N Powell I'm so sorry you've had to go through all that. I'm also glad that you've made sure that your children will be as protected as possible from HPV. I hope you're doing well.
The CDC recommends the vaccine series for both girls and boys starting at 11-12. Older teens and young adults up to 26 can also get the vaccine series. Even people who are up to 45 can talk to their doctor about whether they can still get it. Their insurance might not want to pay, but it could be worth paying out of pocket if you are at risk.
Men can have HPV and be symptomless. But they can easily spread it. Women please be careful about having unprotected sex with someone else hasn't had the vaccines. People lie about their STD status anyway, and getting HPV can kill you. The guy wouldn't know if he had it, and since it doesn't cause him issues, he might not care. Please don't let the selfishness of men put you in danger. STDs aren't as big a deal to them because they can't get scarred fallopian tubes from chlamydia or PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease). My mom got that from a cheating husband who slept around and never wore condoms, and it made her infertile. It was painful and caused complications. Her fallopian tubes were scarred shut, and she went through very painful treatments to try to remove the scarring, but it was unsuccessful. She divorced the asshole, and then she and my dad adopted. The whole experience wss very traumatic for her and my dad.
I also have a high school friend who died a few years ago from cervical cancer. Her death and millions of other women could have been prevented. HPV caused cervical cancer could be completely eradicated. Also women who have cervixes should get annual PAPs. It's easier to remove precancerous cells and much less expensive than treating cancer.

Not really haha... I just figured out halfway through my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) that as much as I really enjoyed it, I realised I did NOT have the self-discipline that would be required for me to actually make a living from that degree (especially considering I was petrified of the thought of teaching art to a bunch of teenagers who had picked it as a bludge subject 😳😂)
I realised I liked science, biology and medicine, but also wasn’t fond of maths... I also figured out that I have an above average tolerance to things like blood/guts/vomit/poop/etc. as well as the ability to both love animals, yet very rarely being too upset by their ailments or euthanasia to be unable to function. But like I said, I knew I wasn’t that interested in maths (meaning I was never particularly good at it), soooo I decided that instead of doing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science I just wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse (Technician) - and all that required was one year at TAFE 😊 So I changed my pretentious values and told myself that doing a degree for the sake of having one WAS NOT NEEDED to be ‘impressive’. I’m also much happier to receive a lower salary than a Veterinarian, because if a dog goes into cardiac arrest in the middle of surgery, all I have to do is administer the atropine. Screw the panic of having to (super quickly) checking that dog’s weight and correctly calculating exactly how many mL of drugs like atropine will (hopefully) help SAVE that dog once administered... cause the alternative would, uh, kinda suck 😬

This happens so much, especially to girls.. here are my 2 favourite incidents
    1. I'm an undergrad stem cells and cancer researcher, this man tried to convince me that eating meat causes cancer.
The truth- on constantly cooking red meat at a temperature above 200°C can release chemicals that trigger cancer but by that time, the meat is usually burnt.
Also, the truth, 1 week old bread has more carcinogens than the meat you eat.
    2. This happened to a friend of mine, she's a undergrad neuroscience researcher. A man was trying to teach her cognition because he's an English major who read a book on neuroscience once.
It's okay if not everyone knows everything, but stop trying to educate others on topics that you know nothing about.
