This game is too good to be true, Ubisoft is very greedy and XDefiant somehow manages to be better than any CoD game ever released while also being completely free, even the premium currency is farmable
As long as they keep SBMM out of the pub games, I don’t care what they do, I’ll be here to play and support this game. I love it, I love the dev team, and for the first time in nearly 10 years, I’m excited to rush home and play a video game 😊
I wouldn’t say we’re spoiled when it comes to dev communication because I feel like it NEVER happens it’s a very rare occasion I think this is exactly what we need and deserve as a community
I hope they can get the progression system right like with prestiges and ranked play because that’s what’s gonna make or break the game and good and rewarding camos. The gameplay at its core is solid but once they add all the thing they talked about and new maps that are good or even better then the ones we have this game is gonna be great and it’s gonna be around for years so all our challenges and camos won’t just be here for 1 year so you can rock a camo you got year one and nobody has it anymore or something like how Fortnite did it with the rare skins but yes I’m excited for what’s to come. It's very simple really. The key is to give the casual side of the game choices as in more game modes, hardcore playlists, no fraction ability playlists ect then on top of that give them massive incentive to grind the game in terms of challenges for unlocks (skins/calling cards), a prestige system, weekly/monthly & all time stat leaderboards ect. In terms of the competitive side of things, they need to truly balance out the fractions so every passive, primary & ultimate ability has a hard counter plus a continuous pool of solid maps & clear, transparent communication between Devs & players. A solid ranked & anti cheat system is also a must.
As a r6 siege player, I despise Ubisoft. As long as Xdefiant has to compete with COD I believe Ubisoft won't start to Ubisofting Xdefiant. The XD devs are a gift to the fps gaming community.
Honestly i understand all the ubisoft hate, but i just cant agree that they make bad games. Each time i see hate towards ubisoft i go “yeaaa!!!! Tell em how it is!” Only to turn around and realize i play tons of ubisoft games, right now i finished farcry6 dlc like 1 month ago, i finished the crew 2 a few weeks ago and it was so fun that i bought the crew motorfest even tho SBI had a hand in it, and you can kinda feel it to a certain extent but the game play is still solid since driving a car from point a to point b has nothing to do with idiotic DEI things. I started playing asssins creed Valhala a few days ago too. Ghost recon wild lands and those games are not bad either. Now i will admit all their games all feel very samey, and it seems lazy of them to just make the same game over and over, but i also think its a cute idea to come up with a great concept and just make 2-3 games all within that same concept if it makes developing a game easier. But at this point the one thing im expecting from ubisoft is to change things up, get away from this copy and paste thing they have been doing, which it seems they did change it up with the most recent AC game. But i honestly dont see ubisoft as terrible as activision or EA.
Idk if it's a console thing, but in my experience this game can barley run on PS5. Idk what's wrong with the net code but Black Ops 2 on the PS3 felt smoother. I think this is going to be it's downfall. No matter how bad CoD gets it feels like a premium shooter, Apex Legends as a free to play game got the code right over time but it never felt as dislocated as XDefiant does rn. Between this and the fact that guns will probably never be balanced with the introduction of season pass and dlc weapons. Yeaah... This game feel great for waiting on Black Ops 6. 😅
Must be something on your end. 2 of the guys on my team are on PS, and they are way better than me, and I'm a way above average player. Try turning off cross platform and see if it gets better. Otherwise, it's skill or internet/router issues. If you have a cheap, free, 4 port router, try ports 3 or 4, many routers have restricted NAT on channels 1 and 2 without going into tools and fixing it.
you can run it on ps5 on 120hz the game is running very great the fps are very good mby look if you can download it again or its mby on your side bc i know no one with fps problems on ps5
if all the future adjustments and updates will be like the sniper adjustment and the bunny hop penalty,than the game have no future.half measures can't work on long term.they promise to repair things but they do to close to nothing.
Yeah I agree that both of these changes didn't really accomplish what they were supposed to. I actually HATE the sway penalty (I say this as someone who jumps a lot), it just feels out of place. Something like stronger, faster jump fatigue would keep movement good but make it less annoying for everyone to play against
You have to be slow in the head to think the movement nerf wasn’t game changing. Y’all just keep proving why people shouldn’t listen to a casuals opinion. Although the sniper nerf was a slap on the wrist. That I can agree with.

It’s pre-season right now, the game technically hasn’t fully launched. This is like the demo. 2-3 seasons down the line it’ll be completely different and filled to the brim with stuff to do
