I Think both bags would be a good option, the Sportlite has 5L more storage but the Tempest look like it has better Hip Storage. If you can find a store that has both in stock my advice would be to see which one is the best fit. The Sportlite 25 is a unisex fit but the Tempest series is a specific woman's hiking fit.
Hi, I find it to be stable as long as it is packed well and not over the weight limit. I find it comfortable for day hikes or a 2 day hike/camp but over longer distance I prefer a bag with a bit more of a solid frame to spread the weight better for my back
Great review! Just wondering, is this bag frameless and would therefore fold up? I need one that I can use for hiking, but can also be compressed into a kayak storage compartment… Thanks!
Yeah if the bag is packed with quite a bit of stuff it can bulge into your back. I managed to find a 2L bladder that is quite wide and spreads the water across more to stop having as much of a bulge and a bit more comfort
Thanks for the clear review! 😀 Is there a big difference in size between sportlite 25 and 30? Not sure which size to get... 🤔 (I already have a talon 20 that I find too small for a day hike or as hand luggage for long journeys)
Hi Tess, the main difference is the sportlite 30 has a top lid which helps pack some extras in and the 30 has 1 big compartment rather than the 3 separate compartments in the 25. The down side to the 30 is it's just too big for carry on for hand luggage on flights unlike the 25 which is perfect. I have got a video showing the 30 in depth but if you have any more questions let me know ☺️
Thanks for this review. I ordered this bag and can’t wait to try it! It has everything I need for day hikes.
No problem I am glad you found it useful ☺️ awesome bag for day hikes, hope you have a great time using it
Thanks for the video! I especially like the S size option which is good for a smaller woman.
No problem 😃
Thanks so much for your review! really appreciate it!
No problem 😃
Cannot wait to use it, where next? ;) Awesome video
Go outdoors or B&Q? Best places on earth lol
hihi, it's hard for me to choose sportlite 25 or temepst 20. Can you give me some advices?

Hi, is the back panel flexible enough to squash into a 40cm ×25cm baggage sizer (if only partially filled of course)?
hi, is this a size s/m or m/l?
Great review! Thanks for sharing 😁
Thank you 😁
thx for doing this!!!
No problem 😁
Hi!!! I am 1.70 cm and 56 kg. If I buy m/l, it s ok or it would be too big for me?
Can we put the Hydrapak Force - Water Bag dimensions 17.02 x 17.02 x 34.29 cm; 165 grams?
I've used a Kiprun 2L bladder with it and that is 38 x 18cm and it fit :)
Thank you for your feedback, I received my Osprey Sportlite 25L bag and my Hydrapak with great joy.@@A1rdy
This sounds great, i have some lowerback problems and a lightweight backpack would be ideal. How stable is it when is it full?

@@A1rdy i also own a 38l osprey with metal frame, it is very stable but a bit large for 1 day trip

Hi yes the bag is frameless so it can be folded down a bit ☺️ I am hoping to get a kayak soon and have some adventures, sounds awesome 👍
can I take this as a carry on bag in my flight?
we've taken it on flights before and had no issues but i think some airlines it will be just out the measurement
Doesn’t the water bladder create a bulge on the back of the bag? I’m getting rid of my old bag because of that :/

No laptop compartment in this one?
Not really but I have used the bit for the hydration bladder for a laptop before which worked
Is there a rain cover attached to it at the bottom like hikelite series?
I believe so on the hikelite but not on the sportlite
Is this size suitable for cabin?
Depends on the airline but I have taken it on flights with no issues ☺️
Thanks for the clear review! 😀

Not sure which size to get... 🤔

@@A1rdy Thank you for the reply! I'm going for the 25 😁
