It's a 8 year interview it's 2022 my prs us still Brand new especially your signature model i play with 11 and 12 mostly drop c b i love your signature guitar thank you so much yeah i bought it when i was 24 now im like 32 i left playing but it's like a collectable especially signature bands I listen to still
141nacho- Clint is a runner I believe that watch is also his heart rate monitor. Glad to see Clint getting his own model PRS, about time! Cant wait to pick one up.
I've played and owned a lot of signature artist guitars through the years. THIS one is INSANE! My favorite PRS guitar IMO (aside from a PRS S2). Built like a tank with great weight relief. Pickups and neck binding are at a USA Maryland level. Stop tail bridge is also epic. Great guitar. Highly recommended.
love my prs se mushock baritone, but just like clint said i always wanted something that would play the lower tunings, but also be able to have a little more freedom as far as string gauge and solos
They've been popping up on ebay sparingly for the past month or so, there's a seller now who has 3 of them, 2 are already sold, so you best jump on it asap because they aren't available otherwise as of right now.
It's not a different horn shape. It's just using multi-ply binding that is exposed on the top and sides, as opposed to the usual reveal binding that is really only visible on the sides of the guitar... :)
It’s crazy how long the guy from Chevelle played PRSs and they never would gave him a signature model. So after asking for years he changed to Fender guitars. I just find it weird because Chevelle is just as big as Se7endust, and you would think that that would be good marketing for PRS. They even even gave the guy from Staind a signature model, and he already had a signature Ibanez for years. But no telling what goes on behind the scenes.
No, that's much to high for what this guitar is set up for. It's shipped specifically set up for Drop B tuning, tuning it any higher than that would cause too much tension in the strings. You'd have to get the guitar re-adjusted with smaller string gauges, the nut may have to be replaced for one that'll suite smaller strings, the intonation would have to be adjusted, etc. It's not worth it imo if you plan on tuning it that high.
Dear PRS company, I have already noticed from the video that this guitar is very good for hard rock kind of things which i do, BUT will it stay in tune if i tune it to D# ? I generally prefer D# tuning that's why I am asking.
Yeah, that's because there's a huge, flat chunk-o-binding. The horn shapes are normal, they just look different because of the increased neck/scale length.
so wats the deal?? why is this guitar so hard to find how to buy it for gods sake!? amazon has it but only a package with stuff u prob dont need but its out of stock, doesnt seem like its even available yet. anyone know anything?
Any time you change the string gauge on your guitar it needs to be professionally set up for that gauge, especially going down to an extremely light gauge like that.
Hey all! I have this guitar and use it in a Jimmy Eat World cover here ua-cam.com/video/E78fRzx9LPE/v-deo.html Happy to answer any questions about it! I really enjoy it, plenty of tone options and the longer scale length makes it more ideal for lower tunings.
I assumed by the question that you didn't know, hence my response. You would still need to set it up if not by a professional then at least by yourself.
Please dont take this as an insult but have you had a brain injury? the tip of the horn is different, it is flattened on the Lowrey model...that means it is different.

I have it and it's one of the best guitars i've ever played

i really can't think of 1 bad PRS I've played. they're just fantastic.
Sounds great and a great player!

this is such a great alternative to a baritone. thank you prs and thank you clint!
love my prs se mushock baritone, but just like clint said i always wanted something that would play the lower tunings, but also be able to have a little more freedom as far as string gauge and solos
I haven't seen one in person, but an image search shows it clearly. It's flattened on the end of the upper horn...
Such a badass guitar so elegant, PRS is the best!!!!!
Agreed. I can't remember any other artist getting a different horn shape like that -- not to mention the multi-ply binding...
Is surely a incredible guitar, i have one and yeah, worth buying
tried this guitar at a music store. it's so fucking awesome and good to play with!
I own one of these guitars and is my favorite guitar, love it! 🤘👍
its out now i think :)
thinkin about getting it

I wonder. Can that guitar handle low tuning? I have no clue. Does Clint ever mention that even once in this clip?
1.35 :D
He literally plays in drop B. What do you think?
I have one, and i have used it in Drop G# before
So hoping I can find one

I really want it but I also really want the Tremonti Custom SE...
amazons one ships in 1-2months due to alot of orderss and the amount prs makes per month. if your lucky check local authorised prs dealer near you.

PRS didn't want to get any Jesus on them...
@@shatteredsquare what does that even mean?

is this available yet?
it will, i'm sure. it just also hold downtuning alot better then other guitars

available in stores july 1st
What about the low tuning?
Any time you change the string gauge on your guitar it needs to be professionally set up for that gauge, especially going down to an extremely light gauge like that.
Can I tune to Drop B instead of Drop C#/Drop B, without any adjustments to the guitar?
Brennan Hales You can but if you want the guitar to be in optimal condition for that tuning, adjustments will have to be made

will it work with a 7-36 set?
It has flat binding, but the horn is still the same shape.
That was in jest.
Also, changing a gauge doesnt call for a pro setup if you know what you are doing.
I reckon all the se line
Can I got to Drop B: BF#BEG#C#, without any adjustments to the guitar
Que afinación es?
Amp settings?
The tip has flat binding, but the horn itself remains the same shape.
Now when I think of PRS I think of Carlos Santana and Clint Lowery
ebay?
what kind of muscisian uses a watch?
I assumed by the question that you didn't know, hence my response. You would still need to set it up if not by a professional then at least by yourself.
its on musicians friend bro!
No, it just appears different because of the scale length.
sucks they don't make this anymore
It comes out on july 1st, try not to get it off amazon
Start the video and then pause it once the guitar comes on the screen. It looks to me like both horns have a flat spot on them...
No, it's is a completely different horn shape.
its avalibale at guitar center it looks like
But the horn shape isn't different...
Please dont take this as an insult but have you had a brain injury?
the tip of the horn is different, it is flattened on the Lowrey model...that means it is different.
That makes no sense.
If it is flattened on the tip that means the horn shape is different.....
It's got everything you need to sound like a bass player with distortion....
Ah no they are not hfs and vintage bass pickups.
They are crap g and b pickups !
Smh! Now you gonna make me buy ANOTHER GUITAR! what's wrong with you people!?!
chug chug whaaa chug chug whaa thats not melodic
