In the UK, they sell for £850 new and I’ve seen half a dozen used ones for sale on eBay and forums ranging from £600 to £750 depending on condition. So that’s 70% to 88% of new. A top end riser like this in good condition should make at least 75% of its new price.

I wouldn't pay more than 70% for any second-hand piece of equipment. For things that may have wear, I'd be looking at something closer to 60%.
Yep that sounds about right to me too. 80% if I had money burning a hole in my pocket....which is rare !!
As a customer I would be happy with 1000,1100
I know you don't leave comments very often Stephen, but inquiring minds want to know. In the end what did you give for it? Maybe $900?
As a store:
Buy at 850.
Display as used for 1200 gives you the option to haggle and 1000 and they think they have a deal.
Depending on the condition, I don't think I'd pay more than $1000-1100, as the final customer.
Around here everyone expects to pay about half of new price for used.
Agree
On lesser risers that may be true, but not the top end ones IMHO
AUD 800...(plus whatever your profit margin is).
Archrey stuff is completly to deer
I’ll buy it for $700
$1200 USD
Sell in your shop for 1300. Buy from the guy 1000
