Let's Build a Zoo Nintendo Switch Review

- I was always told I enjoyed the Bullfrog classics like Theme Park and Theme Hospital and recently re-ignited that love with the subliminal Two Point series which seemingly resurrected the genre with the love and care that the older series deserved. When browsing the E-shop recently, I saw Let’s Build a Zoo along with its Dinosaur Island expansion pack (by developer “No More Robots”) for under $20 and thought to myself “This will be a nice distraction for the weekend.” What I didn’t realise is I had just discovered a game that goes much deeper than its 2-dimensional cutesy graphics...
Expected a cute distraction. Got one of the deepest tycoon games Iv ever played. Massively underrated

I loved the first Roller Coaster Tycoon, and this game is giving me similar vibes, at least based on your video. I’ve also played some of the Kairosoft games, but they rely too much on specific combos of amenities/buildings. I’m hoping this isn’t like that…
I'm a massive fan of Kairosoft games! This game doesn't do the building combos like that, more based on the old style Theme Park gameplay using shops to fill needs and behaviours. Kairosoft games are great imo, but still more casual, whereas Let's Build A Zoo goes a bit deeper. If you get it let me know what you think!

It's a very worthwhile and in depth game. I highly recommend grabbing it when it goes on sale along with the DLCs. If I may make a shameless plug check out my Aquarium Odyssey review I did a few weeks back. It is like a whole new game and super enjoyable!

You can buy physical copies but they may be hard to find now. Digital copy regularly goes on sale with both expansions

Is this game still buggy in the switch? I love having it on the switch but to scared 🥲
I'm currently replaying it for the Aquarium DLC to review and it's not buggy. There are some framerate issues when zoomed out on a big zoo though.
