Hi Danya. Please continue the endgame series. While it may not be as popular as the speedruns, but they are absolute treasures and the best endgame videos on UA-cam.
Daniel I'm sure you've heard this 1000 times, but you are by far the best chess content creators out there. You're extremely informative and these chess games are like pure gold from a learning perspective. I've watched all your speedrun videos and I've gotten to the point where I rewatch them to have your lessons sink in. You're the GOAT!
Thank you for providing such amazing content for free on UA-cam. I have learnt alot from these videos and I recently won a blitz tournament with a perfect score thanks to your instructional content
Hello danya i am korean and our korean chess players love your speedrun series! we are big fan of you and your strategic explanation is so helpful to us!!
@@jollyjumper2077 Surely you must be aware that there are online forums, or chat groups, or even real chess clubs where people share and recommend and discuss videos of their favourite creators, right? It baffles me that you put in the energy to type such a negative comment, seemingly without even having put a second of thought into how they might know that.
these speed run videos go down as all time instructional content - better than classic books for modern improvers. People will talk about you’re speed run videos like gms of today speak about bobby fischers my my 60 memorable games
This channel is one of the most educative content on the web. We need to appreciate it. It’s almost like Curry teaches you how to shoot a basketball🏀♟️
I love the DYI speedrun, very informative. Also, if you could find the time to do like 1 survival puzzle rush to 55 or so a month or maybe even more often that would be amazing! Thanks for all of the great content
Dany something you could impruve is to put your camera in front you that way you can look directly, that means making more eye contact with us, same method has helped a lot of streamers. Thanks for sharing all this with us, you are an enciclopedy!
Hey Daniel! I've been watching you a lot lately and you mention your official recommendations a lot, especially in your openings speedrun. I'm trying to refine my repertoire and I think it could be really helpful to me if you had a video summarizing your official recommendations with a brief explanation of the pros and cons of them. Thank you for your informative content!
I really loved this episode. My mate I play against a lot is a complete Philodor one trick pony. I never was quite sure what the refutation is. With this early d6, locking in the Bishop (which intuitively just seemed wrong), the game always seems like to evolve into these positional games with very little tactical opportunities.
My advice to king's Indian players as a grünfeld player, go with the e5 against the normal variations most of the time and c5 against slow and weird systems like e3 b3 The d5 break is a bit different
D5 is more like a sicilian dragon, it's very good in many positions, that's why I like so much the combo pirc, kid, dragon, grunfeld and benko, they share soooooo maby ideas, it's good to have this much flexibility
1 rapid game and 1 blitz game is perfect for each episode, imo. Now I only wish the episodes came out a little more frequently, but of course that depends on Danya's schedule.
Danya, you mentioned you are working on a KID course for Chessable! This is super exciting. I had put a few KID courses in my wishlist but hadn't yet purchased them. I will now wait until you're done. No rush. Focus on making the great content you do.
I'm actually on the search for a weapon against 1. d4 for black. I'm unsure if the KID is to my taste since on one side I really like attacking tactical chess but on the other side I can't handle closed positions well. Would you recommend me to try it? Also today is the first time I heard about you wanting to release a chessable course on the KID and since I'm having fun learning hundreds of lines of theory I'll surely consider buying it. Keep up your great content, you're one of the reasons I got a rating of 1790 DWZ (similar to FIDE) after playing my first OTB tournament!
Haha I remember that too! It’s always felt pretty nebulous but I have used it to defend before and it often feels useful to have a piece that can jump over cramped positions near the king to fend off unsound sacs. And though passive it isn’t attachable by a pawn.
What details have been publicized about the KID course? Do we have a release date or price determined? Thanks for any answers, and for the great video Mr. Naroditsky
Dayna keeps hinting at his KID chessable course. Do we have any idea when to expect it? It is like an idea for a distant project or is he currently working on it?
You say we should watch the previous one for the KID, but I can't find it here. Last week's is missing, and the week before did not include any KID games. Am I missing it?
A large part of chess is pattern recognition / recall. As an experienced player (& as someone passionate about trying to help serious chess students), there are all sorts of themes that Danya repeats. In many speedrun videos, he says stuff like "I've shown this before...". For quickly finding examples of some particular position, it's my understanding that the chessbase program has a search feature.
More kings indian please. I love playing it but seem to have the most issues when opponent puts a knight of bishop on G6 (I'm a very low ELO club player)
"Develop Your Instincts". It'd get stale to just make videos crushing new players, so each 'speedrun' should have a goal in mind. In this one, he wants to emphasise instincts.

I say this with utmost respect for Danya. These videos are helpful, but the very nature of watching something like this online means often you are not pausing to think for yourself. Without doing that your brain is not working, and the learning is not sinking into your subconscious. What would be much better, is take a good book like Chess Fundamentals (Capablanca), go to a place without the Internet, and work it page by page with a pocket chess set. Force yourself to stop and think, then compare what you think of the position versus what the author tells you. In today's world we tend to use shortcuts to replace real work. They tend to impede your progress in the long run.
ive been watching naroditzky for 2 years. I've learned alot and ive gone from 1000 elo to 882
Keep going
If you wanna keep that trajectory, I think you'll like the Jerome (as popularized by GM Aman Hambleton).

Did you mean 1882?
Sorry to hear that, but your opponents had watched him for 3 years.

6:50 why did he prefer to take the a pawn over the d pawn, before forking?
Comes with tempo, so its probably better

Such great videos Daniel. Would you consider doing some speed runs with the Taimanov Sicilian?
Danya do you have any plans to create KID opening course or opening lab video? I think there will be many people, willing to purchase the course.

After watching his previous two speed-runs and 216 rapid game i am finally 4 elo from 1200.
