I love how casual he is in the 2nd blitz game with less than 30 seconds and most of the pieces still on the board. He just knows he has mate around the corner.
People are getting stronger too! I’ve noticed it too over the last couple years. I’ve taken some time off but got back at it and I’m arguably stronger today than I ever was and I’ve lost rating points.
If you play on the commercial site, I strongly suspect they engineer streaky play. The intense emotional response to the streaks leads to people playing a lot more than they otherwise would ...
I always imagine how many moves it would take for GMs to beat me and every time I watch Daniel I realize I’d be cooked in maybe 5. Anytime he’s like pause the video and see what to do, he proceeds to go and” I know the move you were thinking, and that’s the worst move in the position” and I’m like oh damn that is what I was thinking.
Oh My Lands what a GM move that pawn to h5 was on 32:50 . And you were so casual about it. My god that made me curse because how strong and subtle it was. That's the kind of move that escapes my mind when in such positions. Great Move Danya!
I have a suggestion! Something that happens often is I realize I’m losing and then I don’t know how to create difficult situations for my opponent. Could you do a video where you get a worse position against intermediate players and teach ways to play the position? (Even piece down positions)
In the first game, Ne2 preparing f4 does work if you play it before castling and it's a really cool tactic if black goes for d5 you go f4, and if they take you have Bb5+! Black plays c6 and you only have 1 piece in the path of the pawn and black has two. Full line 8. Ne2 d5 9. f4 dxe4 10. Bb5+ c6 11. Qxd8+ (important) Kxd8 12. fxe5 cxb5 13. exf6
The position at 34:26 was actually losing for white. His opponent had to play Nxd4+ which clears the way for Bb5+. A rare moment where Danya got into a losing position and missed it in his analysis.
Love the content BUT I would really like to see some other openings, especially d4. Of course you want to play what you know in order to give us the best recommendations, thankyou, but you must have vast knowledge in all opening, not just the gleck. Anyway, these are the best videos I’ve ever come across so thankyou
You were looking for another game with this tactical theme 15:25. That Capablanca game. Maybe not one to one (fewer pieces) but pretty similar end. Bernstein - Capablanca Moscow 1914.
Hey Danya, love the channel? Is it possible you could move up to a higher elo? It's always nice to watch a more advanced player who can give more instructive, complicated games.
So I've been studying the alapin and the advanced French for this reason. I can't stand the Sicilian so I'd rather force them to the French if they offer it otherwise I'm really good with the alapin. And yes in both the knight to a3 comes up A LOT so as he said remember that move My issue is I'm so low elo that the moves they make don't make sense so I'm currently 500 elo beating the 1700 bots with no help lol
you're missing the ability to simply evaluate a position as winning or losing for a side, or equal. Not everything is 'tactics tactics tactics'. Black's kingside is extremely weak; it doesn't get any simpler than that.
@@alanjohnson901 I was checking the comments before start watching, and I was shocked to see danya missed that but after I moved backward 5 s, it was all clear
Thank you Danya. I didn’t play chess at all. Now I’m genuinely into chess. 1000 rapid and blitz. Thank you for being a great teacher.
i have more ratings
@@naryvan_nobody asked. 1000 ELO is still a big milestone in one's chess.
@@AdrianHernandez-ul4inI care I think it's pretty cool
ur welcome
If you’re 1000 blitz you’re probably playing at 1200 rapid level, keep going!!
“Ok our opponent is clearly not in their right mind” - the most polite roasting possible.
I love how Danya just casually quotes a "Denial Naroditsky" comment
Love seeing that guy in the Twitch chat
Danya calmly asking "okay, where's the mate?" with ten seconds left, before delivering a beautiful checkmate 3 seconds later, is peak Danya
Even I know he is the top blitz player, it still gives me a lot anxiety lol
The guy in game two thought he was actually making his opponent think hard not realizing he was being used as an instructional lesson 🤣
My pawn is hooked as soon as I see a new Danya upload!
😳👉🏻👈🏻

It could easily slide into the 7th rank 😝🥵
@@Mejayy he walked right into a skewer 😫
Pawn? Yikes. Hopefully you can promote it once it gets in a girls back rank

These once a week videos are the highlight of my week.
3 speedrun games in one, dayum gurll!!
Just hit 1100. Used to be 1300, don’t know what happen but I fell off and these videos been really helping
It happens don’t sweat it

Its normal.
I dropped from 1400 to 1100.
Then from 1600 to 1400.
Then from 1900 to 1700.
But now im 2000
Superb analysis. Addictive content. Thanks Danya.
Thank you for quality and extraordinary play

Not a GM move. I’m 2,000 and that move was screaming to be played. You’ll get there someday. Just keep putting in the time.
even without Rh4, its a good move becuse it isolates black g-h pawns
I love the basketball reference☝🏼😂
As a hooper and a chess enthusiast this episode was for me lol
Only a chess player would call a basketball reference obscure lol
@@faintedmemo that’s facts😂😂😂

Danya: "a pretty boring game..."

You’re the best Danya. Seriously. Please put out content more frequently. We’re all addicted.
Daniel is such a good teacher
Thanks again for all you do danya-

excellent video as always, my favorite GM, Trainer, Streamer, Commentator, Chess Figure, hope to meat him in person, all the best !!
wow am learning so many new words
23:55 why we couldn't check mate with queen and the bishop and instead moved the pawn?
Black is in check. Only legal queen moves are Qxe4 or Qf5.
Loved the Alapin French crossover!
This was an excellent video and perfect for my skill level. Thank you so much for everything you do
I miss the wooden board from one of the early speedrun. Blue just drills into my eyes
"...just to say we sacrificed the queen," lol.
I can't wait to watch this later tonight
Always watching your content daily....I know understand indian game, sicilian and vienna, which is now my favorite opening

very nice and instructive video
Wow Naroblitzky has a new video!!
“Ne2 yeah, not Nge2 btw because the other knight is pinned” I love the subtle carlsen notation complaint reference 🤣
This Daniel fellow is good
37:50 Those French lines are crazy
Thank you!!

'i see that my opponent is not in the business of recapturing any pieces' lol

Danya has multiple speedruns worth of content with plenty of d4 stuff in them.
14:14 - what a countertactic :)
YESSSSSSS NEW DANYA!!!!
the smartest chess god of all times

Lets get Danya to 1mil subs!!
third game analysis is insane
Let’s go a new danya vid
What openings he recommend for intermediate player ?
What about jobava london and kings indian ?
Hey Danya, love the channel? Is it possible you could move up to a higher elo? It's always nice to watch a more advanced player who can give more instructive, complicated games.
It’s a speedrun. That’s what he’s doing.
4:08 when the knight drops back to E2 Queen relinquishes the g4 square and allows Greek gift? Can someone tell me what I’m missing?
3rd at bullet chess not too shabby
I assume the casually throwing away of the minor piece in the opening of game 2 is one of these dubious "TikTok trick openings."
For game 3, Stockfish says 25. Ke7 Nxd4+ 26. Rxd4 Bb5+ is winning for black.
You didn't mention it in the video but 11.Ne2 also would have allowed ..Bxh2+ 12. Kxh2 Ng4+ Kg1 Qh4 Greek sacrifice
Ok, I think I’m finally ready to start playing e5..
I play against that e6 with Alapinish ideas but I will try next time that Advance French lines!
Can someone please tel me what he’s calling the white opening in game 3? It sounds like elephant but that doesn’t seem correct
53:46 Qe1+ Kxe1 a1=Q looks like more challenging for white
Is the description to this video AI generated? I don’t think we did the Advanced French (though you did mention it)
This is the reason why there are so many online players now that are difficult to beat. Its because of Danya. Just kidding 😅😇
Thanks Danya
23:51 isn't queen to h2 mate?instead of pushing the pawn
NOOO, I'm 15 minutes late to Danya. Please forgive me 🙏
the fucken goat DN
Great content as usual
Can you define "Russian schoolboy" in chess? Thanks
I believe it just means forcing trades when up material to win an endgame instead of entering tactical complications
@peterflom6878 Playing solid and making sure that your own house is in order before resorting to attacking or entering into complications.
Making principled moves, also making practical choices that might not be the fastest win but entail less risk while still prosecuting your advantage.
I go by the mantra oneidious
Dayna drop the Glek chessable
Are we gonna get the videos from the London course
GM beats 1100: “pretty easy game 😎”
30:12 I would play Nf3, because ...d5 may seem natural for our opponent, and then there are ideas like e4-e5 and then sacrifice on h7 :)
Thats just hope chess
@@JulianHoving Or "content" chess ;)

Moving a knight four times just to take a French bishop 😢 is beyond comprehension!!!!
Can you please explain it some day.
7:30 isn't f4 possible here
I guess we’ll have to wait till the game is over. And the game is already over
14:53 why does bd7 not save blacks position? What am I missing?
you're missing the ability to simply evaluate a position as winning or losing for a side, or equal. Not everything is 'tactics tactics tactics'. Black's kingside is extremely weak; it doesn't get any simpler than that.
He literally mentions Bd7 10 seconds later
I am from india and currently its 4 in the morning
Ok
Stockfish wants f4 after the fork for some reason
@ 14:21 soak this position in😂😂😂😂
why does he wear headphones all the time in these speedruns and why does he have so many pairs🤣
I find central fork trick to only bring me pain in my kings indian after somthing with other developed bishop. I tend not to go for it
23:51 isn't it mate Qh3? Why pawn? Am I missing something?
He's in check, so he must first deal with the check
I missed that too lol I was wondering why it wasn’t checkmate
