@@Random_warrior777 Kramnik has been running his mouth on social media saying that everyone under the sun is cheating when he loses to them he's been known for years to make excuses when players outplay him and now he's making real claims on people which 10 or 15 years ago could have ruined their careers had it gone unchecked
I gotta say, one of my favorite things on youtube is Danya geeking out when he finds a particularly nasty computer line during the game review section-- his enthusiasm is infectious!
Damnnnn yoooo. The way he talks and articulates is really really impressive. Like the gap is just so so evident 🤣 in a respectful way. Dude is so fucking intelligent. Like what books does he particularly read?
You have absolutely been able to convince me that you can make quality content even at shorter time controls! I was a doubter before. Thanks again for this amazing free knowledge.
At 16:25 he says "I don't even want to look at Nxf4... I can guarantee you this is not a very good move" and I was just so confused because I couldn't see why... looks like a free pawn without a ton of downside. I plugged it into an analysis board and the computer says it's the best move. Maybe it's an engine thing, but I wonder what looks so bad about it. If anyone wants to let me know feel free. Anyway, still my favorite chess content creator.
love Danya's explanations, spasibo Wish i could remember something not just subliminally After few years of watching maybe it's time to actually start taking notes
In second game, there's a crazy line where after Kg1, instead of moving away the knight, black does something else and white can't take the knight due to the threat of Qb6, leading to mate
Fantasy has to be the coolest recommendation you've given in these speedruns. I used to feel like I couldn't win against the Caro, now I basically never lose around 1400-1500. Nobody at this low a level expects it.
at 32:52 im not sure if you address it later in the video in the analysis but your recommendation always used to be c4 and then to develop the BKnight to C3 to give black the option of bishop F5 before developing your g knight so that black cannot pin it immediately, and then if they wish to pin it they would lose a tempo. I remember the first fantasy game with Nf6 going something like this one but then you discovered going c4 and playing it like a better alekhine is simply better for white?
Thanks for the great video Mr. Naroditsky! I've heard rumors about a KID course. Any information on this? Timeline, or price? Oh, and do you have plans to continue the endgame course? The Knight vs pawn videos are awesome, and I'd be thrilled to see heavy piece endings. I know all of these take a lot of work, but your effort is greatly appreciated.
you said you don't want to get too much into the weeds... but I wonder if it's worth analyzing deeply the Center Fork Trick? It's exceptionally popular, it's more popular than the 4 knights even on lichess. Even though it's not completely sound you've done plenty of really amazing vids on unsound openings like the Englund, would love to see one for the Center Fork Trick
I thought in that fantasy position you had recommended the immediate c4 to kick the night away in previous games and to wait on knight f3 until black develops the white bishop
Daniel I was at the STL chess club strategy across the board event tonight and was hoping I would be able to meet you. I was lucky enough to meet some other GMs. Do you ever come to STL for tournaments?
I don't know if you read the comments, but how do you decide if a pawn is worth losing? Often in the games you'll let go of a pawn or two while attacking, which could result in a really bad endgame if the attack fails.
Even around 1200 I never see that knight F6 move in the fantasy. Sometimes I'm surprised by the openings in these speedruns, although it is accentuated by Danya who will punish every mistake of course. Since the gap in player quality is this big, I think Danya could be a little less harsh in his comments on questionable moves sometimes haha.
i love this session you have yourself a new subscriber. Any advice on study plan to reach 2200 that i would follow ? i am currently stuck at 1800 Level
@@Protanlyas fan of both Critikal and Danya, that is probably one of my favorite chess/ UA-cam moments of all time!! Super funny that X fell for that😂 also the look on Hikaru's face... completely priceless
In the last game I’m certain the opponent was on tilt 😂 Sometimes i meet these kinds of players making moves in 2 seconds acting like they Firouzja then insta rematch when they lose in a tactical sequence 😂
Can't wait for the day Danya says "we have time for a longer video tonight" and proceeds to record the LOTR extended edition
best comment
Lol
Hilarious
"This one is going to be short"
Proceeds to record a 43 minute banger.
A Danya classic

Danyas broad vocabulary and metaphors shows how much of a books devourer he is. Truly a savant .

That bxf2 move from game 2 has destroyed me more times than I'm comfortable admitting lol. It's nice to see how a GM punishes it
Thanks!
Extremely instructive, thank you Danya.

Thanks for the video!! Just a suggestion - doing a jobava london only-speedrun would be really cool! Thanks for the helpful tips in this speedrun too
Also, more caro kann games from black would be great
no it wouldnt be cool at all, its just that alex banzea blew up and hence this is your opening rep

16:25 actually stockfish does not refute 7...Nxf4 and in fact evaluates is as -1.2 suggesting it as the top move 🤔
Yeah, also looked that up. Dont really understand what could be wrong with this move
Love the new thumbnail dad
I m on the road, and here's a big like before watching.
It breaks my heart to realize that
one day Danya will release his last speedrun video and life will become empty and meaningless.

Hi Danya! Thx for the great content! 🙏
Danya, when are you going to release the Kings Indian defense course?
Love the thumbnail
So good I watched it again!
thank you for this, I've had the hiccups for 10 hours and have been miserable, and this video I will credit as my remedy..😂

I rarely see it at the 1700-1900 level as well, as a caro player.
I'm at that level, as caro player now I'm gonna study it just in case
Thanks danya

True, there’s 2 different setups that white can use, usually for blitz anything with quick development is much easier to play.
All good to You!

Looking very much forward to a „short“ episode
3:09 "Allow myself, to introduce... myself."
that's that.. nice one
thank you!
In analysis 2 i looked at the game myself and at 27:09 its actually -2.5 sooo not really lost for black at all
Amazing.
When he points it out it seems more obvious but just hard to put that together randomly.

Yeah man! I wanna GMs to make the move they say they would make if they were playing a GM, because I wanna understand those moves.

Nc6 is actually the top book move against the Grand Prix. D5 is the second move. Not sure why Danya recommends it.
