This just gives off a very natural-based form of rage and viciousness that I don't think anything else can top it. The volcano theme makes me feel like I'm watching a great pyroclastic eruption on an island as everything around me just goes red like God's fury flowing through one of these natural feats of destruction.

In my opinion, this is better than the DS version.
@Marek Wingard also one of the composers didn’t came back to this sequel game like Koji Kondo and others did NSMB DS. I can see why music are different and Overworld is same just with slightly different music due to new composer made it I mean what surprised me Kenta Nagata (that did MK64) composed one of the music in this game. And yes of course they upgraded very well than DS. I mean I love NSMB on Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii

Was let down by World 8 in NSMBU, by it not being a callback to this game’s World 1 or something (maybe a more sinister version of the world map, played backwards to get to the castle?), but definitely not let down by this music. Especially at 0:24.
