You have such a beautiful soul meg. I was once in a play with a guy who was just like f Murray was with you. Vindictive for no reason gaslit constantly and was just an all-around thoroughly awful guy even up to the last day. It's been years and I still resent him. So I completely understand

I had a stepfather who didn't use his hands but his words his words, out of his context the words still haunt me today. 😂🙈 I laugh and say who talks that way to children 🤔

Abraham lived near me in Brooklyn. We had mutual friends, and he used to frequent a shop I worked in while I was a student. He was obnoxious and very full of himself. Without going into details, I'll say there was a very strange and unsettling incident revolving around him accusing someone I knew of something pretty bad that they definitely didn't do. It was creepy as hell. I have to say, Meg's story about him doesn't surprise me, at all.

That's so wonderful. I have a production of A Christmas Carol called @EveryonesCarol and it made me think how great you would be in anything Dickens. I have been working with the Dickens family in the UK on a film about his life... anyhow, this stream made me think of the loving spirit of Dickens :)

Hello, Meg. I have English Breakfast and Peppermint in a 20 ounce tumbler. I like to be a two bag blend big mug kind of tea person.
I started watching Tea Time because of Psycho II, Tex, Agnes of God, and familiarity with sister Jennifer's work. I stayed when I realized you were also a survivor, and we had similar childhood trauma. I really appreciate you reminding us that not everyone has happy holidays.
....and F-×< Murray Abraham. Your level of honesty is soul cleansing. Bam! We can't always sugar coat and sweeten things that are not. It's a huge social dysfunction we are hindered by. Honesty is sorely lacking in this life. Good for you.
Toasted cheese dipped in homemade tomato/basil soup. Bliss.
So here's to all of us who were looking in the window at the happy families. Here's to the survivors, and our stories we tell which are beacons to those who are struggling and need to see there is a path to inner peace no matter how horrible a past you had to survive.

11:52 The documentary of the film’s making shows one of the two (Milos or Schaffer, can’t recall which of the two) commenting that in dealing with Abraham through the audition process, they realized this guy WAS Salieri on AND off the set. To those familiar with Salieri’s disposition, it’ll be clear this won’t have been meant as any compliment. LOL. Still their film could only benefit from that authentic chip on his shoulder. So in THAT sense perhaps Abraham was a bit of a lucky find for them. Albeit for all the worst reasons. Mr. Murray-Abraham has, quite ironically, decided to put a positive spin on the sordid account. Very Salieri of him.
Interesting. I have not seen that documentary. I did so love working with Milos and was grateful I finally got to complete a film with him in Valmont. 🎬

Hi Meg, I love your tea time! So relaxing while I listen to you telling us your stories. My question: are you familiar with cozy mysteries books? Amateur sleuth trying to find a murderer in a small cozy town. Nothing gory nor stressful. Just a fun cozy who done it😀. Perhaps you would like writing this genre one day? 😀
I am familiar with cozy mysteries, though I haven't read a ton of them. It's a good idea, however I do find that whenever I try to right something light and airy those bad guys always seem to show up. 🤣

What a touching message towards the end. I myself had a difficult childhood and I did not let that define me now that I'm much older. Maybe it was for the best that you did not get to do Amadeus. I mean, the damage that, that man did in the short amount of time you worked with him, I cannot even fathom how much worse it could have been. Have you seen the film recently and I wonder if you can look at it objectively now that time has pass or does it still feel like Elizabeth Berridge was wearing your underwear? Anyway.
