    Those Coconuts are WILD! Great depth...you do an excellent job of explaining your process as well. I like how your pallet is in the video so we can see your blending and mixing process.
    The knife scratching is important as what is taken away is as important as the pigment laid down.

    Wow that was amazing!! I have to draw still life for my architecture class using only primary colors, I’ve done some watercolor in the past but I’m blown away by your techniques. Just awesome!

    The inside of the coconut looks so soft and yummy! Makes me want some real ones to eat!
    I just got a bunch of water color supplies to get back to painting. I’m stuck at the hospital right now so I’m binge watching your vids until I get home. 😂

    The scratching does not work for me.. insted of making the area lighter it becomes darker, dark stripes

    Are there other reds that are close to Windsor red? I don't have Windsor red.

      Laurie, if you do not have Winsor Red, then Cadmium Red is very similar. Let me know if you have other questions.

      Thank you, I do Light and Dark, as well as Alizarin. I will look at you materials list on your website, now that I have found it. I see you are in the Boston area. Exciting for me. We have a home base in MA, at home of my family (we travel and pet and house sit around the world). I will increase my supplies when I get to California next month. Mexico all winter!

      For my paintings I use Arches cold press, but when I demo for my students, I use Strathmore or Canson.
