What time of the night do you recommend going mate? I’m new to fishing I’ve got myself a decent rod and reel, heading out tomorrow. I’m not sure of the rules of fishing in terms of if asking time and locations is cheeky or not haha. But I’m going to try my luck and ask what time would be best to go tomorrow evening/night (Thursday) and if there’s any locations in the north east (Newcastle) you recommend. I’ve heard crab is good for cod, that being said I think I’m gonna head to a tackle shop and see what bait they’ve got before I head out.
Hello mate. Pleased to hear you are getting into it! Darkness is always better , the location always depends on tide and sea state. Generally beaches are best over low water (In General). Crab is a great bait, also lugworm, squid, cart, razor. Loads of good baits for cod you can use. Cheers mate, thanks for watching
