What an absolutely great video. Two lovely cod to boot. I’m sure that water and snicker’s bar tasted great when you finally got back to the van.
Thanks so much for that.
Mick
Well done mate, I can't remember last time i fished up that way, some lovely ground to cover. And congratulations on a placing. keep up the good graft.😉

Thanks 👍
Nice video mate, good to see you back out and well done 👍
Cheers bud always a pleasure mate
Good effort mate. I bottled it and went on the beaches instead. Weighed in a nice Bass but not much else to go with it. Great drone footage as always I've seen a few spots there I'm going to try this winter. Congratulations on becoming a grandfather. You must feel old 😁👍
@@Kelp-Jungle I certainly do feel old mate takes me a couple of days to recover lol. Thanks for watching
Recently moved to the north east, found this interesting. good post.
@@mikechanning8764 thank you
@@grahamsidney9214 I'll tell you what. I could see in the post and you confirmed in the post, that you really enjoyed the day. But that looked like a lot of hard work.
Good work pal. Been out tonight (10th October ) at Tynemouth and had 2 for 9lb. It’s been a steady start to the season.
Nice one mate good fish !
Canny going that mate! I'm off out tomorrow... Where you on the pier or rock marks?
Fished the lower prom under knotts flats at North Shields. Not many places fishable as there was a big Northeast sea
❤nice video mate, nice to see ya back!
Which Sonik rod where you using please?
I was using a sonik gravity X5 I think it is. They don't get the recognition they deserve, a good heavy ground rod that is very reasonably priced.
@@grahamsidney9214 cheers mate seen them down the south coast alot, look the part in the rough though!
@@davidbutler1030 yeah that mark is very ruff and it's more than enough to bully fish through the kelp and rocks but doesn't feel like an awful lifeless poker
Cracking vid sid cheers for the mention overall a good day
@@dannylogan2428 yeah mate we'll have to get out again soon
@@grahamsidney9214 absolutely mate
Thanks for sharing mate. I respect everyone who fishes from rock end/ skears like that, iv fished that exact spot a few weeks ago but personally I just cant get settled, never once feet like I'm in the right spot, never happy of where iv casted, always worrying about the flood if its dark.... Just cant get into the mindset for a mark like that. I will just be a fanny and stick to platforms and beaches haha. So well done mate, great to see you back and best of luck for the season.
Yeah mate it's ok once you've learned how to get on. Probably not a beginner mark as you have to wade through gullys etc to get on. Care must be taken especially at night.
@@grahamsidney9214 Very true. Even being a fisherman of over 30yrs I'm still not keen in the dark like mate, I like solid dry land behind me 🤣
@@spartafishinguk yeah I'm 47 now and I'm definitely slower over the rocks than I used to be
good video mate i have the same rod and love it but the reel seats are crap i think did i notice a different one on yours?
@@denwill5975 not sure I think it's the reel seat that was on when I got it. The rod itself is more than capable of fishing the heaviest of ground around the north east and is light enough. It does the job it's designed to do. I have looked at other more expensive rods but I've too many hobbies (sea/fly fishing and guitars ) to spend a fortune on any one item.
Hi young Graham got put onto you by jim, great content hope alls well have subscribed Cheers 👍
@@brian-jd8gf thank you
