A few things I've learned along the way while looking into this stuff: 1. As stated in the video you want to see larvae in there, it's working and they will die because they will be unable to turn into adults. 2. It could take a few weeks for there to be a noticeable decline in mosquito population. They have about a 3 week lifespan. As new larvae are unable to pupate and the existing ones die off, you will begin to see a decline. 3. Be sure to eliminate OTHER sources of water on the property. These devices work great but obviously they can only eliminate those who use them. If there are other water sources, those will continue to breed new generations. 4. I thought I had no other water on my property, until I noticed a gutter section that didn't have the right slope toward the downspout. This held water (and mosquitos). I used a quarter of a "mosquito dunk" in that section for a few weeks until I was able to do a long term repair and make it drain properly. 5. Do you have downspout extension pipes that run out underground away from your foundation and emit water out of a pipe or 'pop-up' in the yard? Those can be a source of standing water too! a quarter of a mosquito dunk in the line can help, but water emitters that fully close between rain storms is a better solution, because usually those drain lines are corrugated and a mosquito dunk can't effect every little valley in the whole line. Good luck my friends!

It's all about the standing water. Thanks for the comment!

When comparing to the In2care system, which do you think works better? Pros and cons?

Well, these have less evaporation which is nice for maintenance. In2care covers a larger area. But they basically work the same. You'll just need a few Inzecto traps to match the coverage of 1 In2care trap. The biggest difference is that the Inzecto's will kill adult mosquitoes on contact. The In2care will take a few days for the fungus to kill them.

Does it kill mosquitos or does it only kill larva? Some websites says yes, while other says only larva. I didn't really see any mosquitos in your trap, just larva.

Yes it does kill adults. The inside is covered with an adulticide this is supposed to kill them. Our trap was pretty old and had a lot of dirt. Someone which could have been adults. We should have gone through it more. We'll try and get some more video of that. Thanks for the question!

Yes! Sorry the video doesn't show that well but the little swimming worms are the larvae. Thanks for pointing that out.
