🦟 Dengue Fever Alert in Miami! 🦟
Dengue fever cases are rising, and Miami is at the center. 🌴 As co-owners of Mosquito Joe of Miami, we’re seeing the impact firsthand. With the rainy season here, standing water creates perfect breeding spots for mosquitoes.
🦠 Dengue can cause severe pain, nausea, and more. While most U.S. cases are travel-related, Miami-Dade has the highest number of local cases. We're tackling this with eco-friendly mosquito control to keep our community safe.

    So, I hear you say the back side of the fan is where the screen goes, but the video goes by pretty quickly and my eyes are getting older. Please clarify if you would. The screen goes on the side of the fan that sucks in the air or the side that blows out? Thank you so much.

    Can someone explain how and why this works? I cant wrap my head around the physics of why mesh on the backside of the fan catches mosquitos? The backside of a fan draws air in. So would it not make more sense to place mesh on the front side of the fan where the air is exhausted? Thanks

    we should be able to call the police to arrest her for obstruction of traffic(a car trying to park but can't so he is blocking the pathway for other cars to drive by and look for their parking space or leave the parking lot. All you need is video evidence of the the person blocking the empty parking space while you are attempting to park your car there(use your cellphone to record the person). When cops shows up they arrest her for the misdemeanor, giving a ticket and required to show up in court, their car gets impounded and is only released once they show up in court. If they don't show up in court, there is a warrant for their arrest and jailed for 3days for failure to appear. Once they settled in court correctly then they can retrieve their vehicle from the impound lot plus pay all the fees accordingly. Certain transgressions in public life's infrastructure should have zero tolerance.

    I was recently listening to a video (while doing chores) on UA-cam about an entire family parents & 5 kids, all boys, that live in a wall tent outdoors somewhere Off Grid. I don't think it was Alaska, maybe in canada but it was just like Alaska with the EXTREME deep cold & snow & only accessible by boat or airplane, & is a Island, remote of course. The initial part of the video starts out with Ride in a boat on the water.And the conversation was talking about the bugs there in the summer time have one of the people mentioned about how many years ago the bugs would be so bad that the natives would actually commit unaliveing themselves. I live outside too, here on the southeast Coastlines of the united states and I can definitely relate to the feeling of going insane from bugs biting. I imagine it was something like what is seen here in this video.

    You're not going insane because you don't have all those mosquitoes alive and getting at you. For myself on the other hand, living off grid, I don't have electricity or one of those big fans. Mosquitoes will definitely drive one insane. But I bet you all will be getting it together somehow and when I do, I'm gonna definitely do this !

    A few things I've learned along the way while looking into this stuff: 1. As stated in the video you want to see larvae in there, it's working and they will die because they will be unable to turn into adults. 2. It could take a few weeks for there to be a noticeable decline in mosquito population. They have about a 3 week lifespan. As new larvae are unable to pupate and the existing ones die off, you will begin to see a decline. 3. Be sure to eliminate OTHER sources of water on the property. These devices work great but obviously they can only eliminate those who use them. If there are other water sources, those will continue to breed new generations. 4. I thought I had no other water on my property, until I noticed a gutter section that didn't have the right slope toward the downspout. This held water (and mosquitos). I used a quarter of a "mosquito dunk" in that section for a few weeks until I was able to do a long term repair and make it drain properly. 5. Do you have downspout extension pipes that run out underground away from your foundation and emit water out of a pipe or 'pop-up' in the yard? Those can be a source of standing water too! a quarter of a mosquito dunk in the line can help, but water emitters that fully close between rain storms is a better solution, because usually those drain lines are corrugated and a mosquito dunk can't effect every little valley in the whole line. Good luck my friends!

    When comparing to the In2care system, which do you think works better? Pros and cons?

    • @mosquitojoeofmiami
      @mosquitojoeofmiami 4 місяці тому

      Well, these have less evaporation which is nice for maintenance. In2care covers a larger area. But they basically work the same. You'll just need a few Inzecto traps to match the coverage of 1 In2care trap. The biggest difference is that the Inzecto's will kill adult mosquitoes on contact. The In2care will take a few days for the fungus to kill them.
